Last we checked in on him Jon Gosselin was delighting in Kate Gosselin getting dumped by millionaire Jeff Prescott. Obviously, Jon has had his share of failed relationships in the years since his marriage ended, but now it looks like he might be giving one of them a second chance. Remember Hailey Glassman? We doubt many people do, as Jon and Hailey broke up way back in 2009, and her attempts to extend her 15 minutes of fame fizzled out. Anyway, according to Radar Online Jon and Hailey were spotted out and about together in NYC earlier this week. The sight of the former lovebirds strolling around Manhattan led many to believe they were back together, but reps for Jon (apparently he has reps!) say their relationship is purely professional. “Jon reached out to Haley again because he’s looking for some help with publicity and press,” says a source. “Jon really trusts her.” Yes, after Glassman’s brief career in reality TV , she went into PR, and now Jon apparently wants her help with whatever’s left of his career. Does this mean Jon is kicking off some sort of new project? Here’s hoping he’s finally given up on his DJing career. That’s just getting sad.
Kate Gosselin has been giving a lot of interviews lately, which means, of course, that she’s been trash-talking the father of her children like it’s her job (which we guess it sort of is). Over the years, Kate has become a master of subtle shade-throwing, and while she used to just let her feelings be known in shrill tirades, now she neuters her victims one tiny snip at a time. Earlier this week Kate said her kids lack a male role model , which would be tough for any dad to hear. (Although Jon just became a DJ at age 38, so she may have a point.) Today, Kate doubled-down on those comments, claiming that the main reason Jon sucks as a role model is that some of his kids never even see him! “Some of the kids visit, some don’t,” Kate said in an interview with E! News. “That’s for the best. There were many tears. Things that happened with my divorce were hurtful. I’m definitely a no-regrets kind of person. I’ve always done the best with what I had.” Gotta love that ability to take a question about the kids and make it all about her, right? The whole interview is pretty damn funny, and definitely worth a read. At one point Kate says her celeb crush is Patrick Dempsey (Good luck with that one), but the real highlight is when she’s asked to describe herself: “People think I’m mean and b-tchy,” Kate says, presumably with a straight face and no trace of irony. “But I’m actually pretty laid back, and I don’t have an ego!” (See what we mean about the lying?) Earlier this week, documents from a 2010 custody hearing detailed the child abuse allegations against Kate Gosselin . Now, more leaks from the same hearing reveal that Kate has so little faith in Jon Gosselin’s parenting abilities that she would rather leave her six youngest children under the care of a teenage babysitter for a week than with their father. “Recently, Mother traveled with the two older children for six days and left the six younger in the care of a 19-year-old babysitter,” claimed attorneys for Jon. “Father was available, however, Mother refused to allow children to stay with Father and/or allow Father to stay in her home with her children.” To make matters worse, Kate reportedly instructed the sitter to forbid the kids from having any contact with Jon: “Mother has also instructed her babysitters that they are not to contact Father and/or accept phone calls from Father.” This latest information comes on the heels of Kate being investigated by child services for her allegedly abusive and neglectful parenting. As we’ve previously reported, Kate has instructed her nannies to spy on her ex and listen in on phone calls between Jon and her kids. There’s no word on if the anonymous 19-year-old received such instructions. Just earlier today new allegations surfaced regarding Kate’s alleged abuse of her son Collin . All of this is unlikely to result in any charges against Kate or any changes in her custody arrangement. It’s just further proof that Kate is a really, really bad mom. Jon Gosselin tore his ex-wife Kate a new one on VH1’s Couples Therapy, which he’s starring on this season, on its most recent episode last night. The reality star, who has been on the warpath against his infamous former spouse, is now in a relationship with Liz Jannetta. At least for the short term. Viewers of the most recent episode not only saw Jon rail against Kate, but Liz appearing to be the new Kate, baiting and belittling her man. Awkward. During a group therapy session with host and TV therapist Dr. Jenn Berman, Jon said of living with Kate Gosselin , “My marriage was very non-affectionate.” “It was like 10 years of a business transaction. So many kids, you’re like, ‘We don’t have time to work on our marriage.’ There was always an emptiness.” Jon denied that he wrecked the marriage by having an affair, or multiple as he was accused of back in the day, implying it was broken in the first place. “The biggest misconception is the reason for the divorce is that I cheated on my wife,” he says.” But I didn’t. I mean, I knew [my marriage] was over January 17, 2009.” “That was the definitive day. I just knew.” Why? “I always felt like I did Kate’s task list. ‘Here’s the post-it note. This is what you have to do, this is how you’re a good husband, this is how you’re going to behave.'” “Okay, [I thought], ‘I’m going to complete these tasks and she’ll love me because I do these things.’ January 16, 2009 was when I did all my stuff.” “I went out to a bar and stayed out ’til 4 o’clock in the morning. Jon Gosselin hates to say he told us so, but… For the past few weeks, the former reality star has been trashing his ex-wife, referring to Kate Gosselin as broke and greedy and expressing outrage that she still used the ex-couple’s children for publicity. Then, this morning, this happened: Kate Gosselin Scolds Daughters Kate dragged twins Cara and Mady on The Today Show to dispel the notion that they’ve been ruined by all the attention… only for the kids to grow silent when the topic arose. And for Kate to scold the on national television . “I felt really bad for Mady and Cara because I love them and they’re just put in this situation,” Jon told TMZ this afternoon about watching the awkward interview. “It was like deer in the headlights.” Jon went on to say th debacle “just kind of proves my point of Kate bringing the kids out instead of her just sort of doing it herself. It all blew up in everyone’s face and I feel horrible for my children because now they’re going to have to deal with the public.” Jon has maintained for a long time now that the family is financially stable and the children should be away from the spotlight. He believes Kate is using them to feed her bank account and her ego and that she manipulated them into making this television appearance. “In my heart that’s what I believe, that’s how I feel,” he said. “Can I prove it? Jon Gosselin has given the world a reason to celebrate: He can’t have any more children! Appearing today on The Wendy Williams Show, the former reality star said he and girlfriend Liz Jannetta (yes, someone is dating Jon Gosselin!) won’t be conceiving any time soon. “We can’t have more kids. I’m fixed,” said Jon, who already has eight children with ex-wife Kate Gosselin. Jon has spent a lot of time in the recent past slamming his ex as greedy , exploitive and generally an A-Hole . But he did admit on the talk show that the two are still in contact. “We just text, we don’t talk to each other,” he said. “I only know what she says about me by the media.” Jon has been critical of Kate keeping their kids in the spotlight and he does fear her trying another reality series based around the family. But if she does? “I’ll fight it,” he said. “I don’t need the money, I’ll just go to work. Because I fought so hard to get my kids off of television. It didn’t work in civil court, it didn’t work with TLC, it didn’t work with anyone so I had to go to family court and try and stop it. He continued: “My kids go to private school. They also have trusts. They have education trusts. They have other trusts. Kate and I put 80 percent of the gross of the income in a trust for three years for them. They’re fine.” Jon has been consistent about keeping the children out of the public eye since the TLC’s Jon & Kate Plus 8 ended in 2011. The pair share twin daughters Cara and Madelyn, 13, and sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Aaden, Collin, Leah, and Joel, 9. Let’s hope none of them ends up in rehab at any point.
It may have just turned 2014, but apparently Jon Gosselin thinks it’s still 2011. For whatever reason, the former reality star has gone off on ex-wife Kate Gosselin on multiple occasions over the past few days. First, he called Kate an asshole during an interview with Philadelphia Magazine. Now, he’s gone off to In Touch Weekly, blasting Kate for exploiting their children via television and social media. “She uses them as her props,” Jon tells the tabloid of Kate and their kids. “It’s a problem for her that she can’t afford our old lifestyle anymore. It’s so unfair to them. “I work really hard to keep my kids safe and then she just goes and tweets about them all the time. I don’t have a Twitter anymore and even when I did, I never tweeted about my kids. I kept their lives private.” This, of course, is a debate that’s been ongoing between the Gosselins for years. In November, Kate responded to similar accusations from her ex – that she’s a bad parent, basically – by saying all eight of their children are doing great across the board. Jon – who, of course, will next be seen on Couples Therapy with girlfriend Liz Janetta – says he egrets letting Discovery Health and TLC film his family from 2005 to 2011. “I don’t think being on TV is good for kids. A lot of them do not want to film and they come to me and tell me that,” he says “It’s upsetting and I think it’s embarrassing for them. They are enjoying having an ordinary childhood.” That’s likely true. But know what else is bad for your kids? Trashing their mother in public.

Jon Gosselin Returning to Reality TV Despite being vocal about the fact that he thinks reality TV has been bad for his family, and his kids have developmental problems as a result, here he is. On the couples counseling series, Jon will take the couch with his Liz Jannetta, a single mom of three who he’s been in a relationship with for awhile. Things have hit a rough patch, evidently, because they’re taking to VH1’s faux-therapist’s couch to work out their issues in totally effective fashion. While it would be better TV to watch him square off with Kate Gosselin (or even Hailey Glassman ), you can bet that his doomed marriage will come up. He’s extremely likely to embarrass her even more than he already has, which will likely be ratings gold for VH1, and make for some great gossip. Still, you have to wonder about Jon. After all his supposedly enlightened comments about enjoying the simpler, quieter life he leads now … this. Thou doth protest too much, Mr. Gosselin. These reality shows, much as he condemns them, clearly don’t prepare one for life in the real world. After having TLC foot the bill for years, Jon most recently found himself waiting tables to pay bills . Which is fine, and even commendable of him. Apparently he doesn’t see it that way, however, and is willing to go back to the well of being a douche on TV for a quick paycheck and 15 more minutes.
