Another senseless act of violence , this is truly sad… Man Fatally Stabs 6-Year-Old Boy And Wounds 7-Year-Old Girl In Brooklyn The New York Daily News reports: They were two best friends laughing and hurrying to get an icy treat — but the two pals never made it past a crazed killer. Prince Joshua Avitto, 6, died and his 7-year-old playmate Mikayla Capers was left fighting for her life after a man stabbed both kids in an elevator inside an East New York, Brooklyn, building on Sunday, cops said. The hulking attacker brutally attacked the kids in an elevator at the Boulevard Houses on Schenck Ave. at 5:50 p.m., cops and family members said. “He took my pride and joy away,” said the boy’s father, Nicholas Avitto, who lamented how he had not kissed his son that day. “I’m devastated. I’m beyond comprehension. I’m trying to understand how God works. My son is gone. That was the light of my life.” The heavyset killer, believed to be in his 20s, pulled out a knife and stabbed both children in the torso on the lift somewhere between the first and fourth floors after telling them to “shut up,” a police source said. The attacker then ran off through the housing project and ditched the murder weapon that was soon found by cops, authorities said. Both children, meanwhile, were left bloodied and fading fast. Mikayla had enough strength to stumble out of the elevator on the first level but she soon collapsed to the floor, a trail of blood marking her attempt to flee. The boy was discovered when the elevator arrived on the fourth floor, police said. “She was laying face up, they were on her chest. They (EMTs) opened up her jacket and all you could see is blood,” said neighbor Kevin Velez, 41, who then saw the dying boy. He was covered head to toe in blood. I just seen that little boy yesterday. I’m hurt. These are my daughter’s friends. These are kids.” Both children were taken to Brookdale University Hospital, where Prince Joshua, known to family and friends as P.J., died a short time later, authorities said. We hope the sick killer who did this is off the streets soon!

Dipset reunited on this track for the first time in 3 years , and BOSSIP was on set for the action. We told you about newcomer Avian and her hot new ode to same-sex groupie-loving “Billboard Chick” a few weeks back. Now, Avian got together with the recently reunited members of Dipset Cam’ron, Jim Jones, and Juelz Santana to shoot a visual for this wild track. We caught up with Avian and Jim Jones to get more details on the track and Dipset’s support of this new artist. BOSSIP: So, we obviously noticed that you name-dropped quite a few of your industry girl-crushes on the track… Avian: When we were making this song, I was like “Yo, I wanna make a song about some hot b***hes!” So, obviously we name-dropped the hottest b***hes in the game right now. It’s all about having fun… This song is clearly like a ratchet, crazy song, so I definitely want people to know that I don’t hold anything back. This is me, this is who I am. I’m fun, I’m outgoing, I have a million different crazy sides, so I want people to hear the record and have fun with it. Love it for what it is, because that’s who I am. BOSSIP: So who is Avian? Avian: I am born and raised in New York and I’ve been singing my entire life. I’ve been signed with my independent production label MBAM for about three years now, and when Jim heard the record, he recognized the talent and I’m really fortunate that they all hopped on the track with me. They made this record what it is. BOSSIP: Speaking of which, how does it feel to be the one that was able to get these guys back together on a record? Avian: Amazing! I’m totally blessed to have Dipset on this track with me. It’s so cool since they haven’t done a track together in mad long, and they chose to have this reunion with me. I’m totally honored and it’s been so fun! The whole team is awesome and this record is gonna pop, for sure. If she can’t get the medal as a bobsled athlete, well, UPS is hiring… According to The Gazette: Lolo Jones wanted to become a push athlete in Olympic bobsled competition. She knew her ambition would require a big dose of courage. It’s no secret bobsledding can be perilous. She also knew her ambition would require a more enormous version of Lolo. Jones had made her name as a slim 130-pound world-class hurdler. She needed to add 30 pounds, at least, to prosper as a pusher. “I can eat anything,” Jones said late in 2013 as she looked back on her successful attempt to add weight to her frame. “And it’s awesome.” Jones is the most famous of the athletes who have traveled from other sports to bobsled competition. She is joined on the Olympic team by Lauryn Williams, a gold medal Olympic sprinter, and Aja Evans, who competed in track at Illinois. On the men’s team, Curt Tomasevicz traveled to the bobsled Olympic team from football. He was raised in Shelby, Neb., on land almost as flat as a pool table. He still found his way, with a stop at Nebraska’s football team, to this mountain sport and lives and trains in Colorado Springs. “They ask me if bobsledding is fun,” Tomasevicz said, “and I don’t think I could describe bobsledding as fun with freezing temperatures and spandex and wearing only a helmet as protection, it’s not necessarily fun.” Jones disagrees. She’s been surprised by the sheer joy of bobsledding. She once spent her days trying to run as fast as she could while clearing hurdles, but has found thrills in her role as, borrowing his words, “the engine” of a bobsled race team. “Once you get use to the g-force and how it knocks you around, it’s really quite fun,” she said. The actress, who has recurred on Glee for years as Coach Beiste, married long-time partner Bridgett Casteen at their home in Los Angeles last night. According to People, the ceremony was attended by close friends of the couple, who believed they were simply attending a holiday party. But Jones and Casteen then shocked their loved ones by actually exchanging vows! Pretty cool, huh?
