The actress recently opened up to The Root about living in a rat infested apartment where they were on public assistance. Davis also chimed in about Donald Trump and how he wants to get rid off food stamps and make boxes for families. Follow @TheRSMS She spoke about how people don’t talk about poverty and some don’t care. Davis mentioned, “Poor people are invisible. I know, because I was that.” In the video she talked about growing up and sometimes not having enough food to last through the month. Davis said, “I was a rung lower than poor. The halftime performer uploaded a photo of him tying his laces while getting ready to hit the stage for his big night, and while many might not have seen anything wrong with it, everybody who knows anything about sneakers was completely turned off by the travesty they saw. Nike Retro Air Jordan 11 Basketball Sneakers Washington, DC Teen Shot and Robbed Of His New Jordan Sneakers This is sad… Mother of a teen slain in Washington, DC thinks his life was taken over a pair of sneakers. According to the Washington Post, a gunman shot James Anthony Smith on a basketball court at the Frederick Douglass Community Center. He was found a block away, on a street, shoeless. He died less than two hours later at a hospital. The teen boys’ mother, who gifted him the $220 pair of shoes early to her son, says he was murdered over his sneakers. “He was an all-American kid,” said his mother, who works at a day-care center. “He loved his red shoes. He loved basketball. He loved his computer games. . . . I can’t believe he was killed, all over a pair of shoes.” James was a Ballou High School sophomore and only got to enjoy his new shoes for four days after his mother splurged on them. So far, no arrests have been made in the case.

Very sad news today out of Hollywood: Jordan Feldstein, the brother of movie star Jonah Hill and veteran manager of beloved music group Maroon 5, died on Friday of what reports have confirmed to be a heart attack. He was 40 years old. Feldstein worked as a talent manager who had been at the center of Maroon 5’s success ever since the Adam Levine-fronted band debuted 15 years ago. He is survived by two children. “Unfortunately, last night Jordan called 911 for shortness of breath,” said his family via a statement that adds: “When paramedics arrived it was determined he went into full cardiac arrest and passed away shortly thereafter.” Feldstein started his by working for ICM and Bill Leopold Management. He later became the founder and CEO of Career Artist Management, a company whose client list includes: Maroon 5, Adam Levine, Iggy Azalea, Robin Thicke and Elle King. A representative for the Los Angeles Coroner’s office told People Magazine that police are investigating Jordan’s death as a possible accident. This is because the same office is conducting tests to determine if the music executive’s death was related to ingesting some kind of substance or substances. “His family asks for privacy during this difficult and unexpected time,” the statement from the family continued. “In lieu of food and flowers, the family will announce a charity in the coming weeks where memorial donations can be made in Jordan’s name.” Feldstein, whose sister is an actress, was previously married to Francesca Eastwood, the daughter of Clint Eastwood. The couple secretly tied the knot at a Las Vegas wedding chapel on November 17, 2013… only for Eastwood to file for an annulment just a week later. Jordan Feldstein was a childhood friend of Adam Levine’s and helped negotiate his deal to serve as a coach on The Voice. Neither Hill nor Levine has yet commented publicly on Feldstein’s passing. Live Nation, however, has released the following statement: We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Jordan Feldstein and extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends. Jordan was a gifted manager whose artists benefited greatly from his guidance and talents. He will be missed by his Live Nation and Roc Nation family. We send our condolences to his loved ones. Smith, so of course he was asked to weigh in on the never ending debate: LeBron James vs Michael Jordan. In a surprise to most viewers, and Stephen A. Smith, Pippen noted that LeBron is “probably ahead of Jordan” when it comes to his stats. In discussing LeBron’s career numbers during the debate, Scottie said (h/t Andrew Joseph , USA Today), “The numbers don’t lie. He’s right there,” he said. “He probably will never catch him in terms of MVP, but in terms of statistics, LeBron is right there.
