Ironically, many viewers initially described that film as an African-American version of The Twilight Zone, so this definitely seems like a perfect direction for Peele to go in after its success.

Disney Week made its way to Dancing with the Stars, and there was no fairytale ending for the celebrities on this special night of the ABC reality series. With one couple definitely going home, tensions were at an all-time high, but one couple managed to get a perfect score, so it wasn’t all bad. Let’s briefly break down the performances of the night, so we can establish who did not make it through to the next heat of the competition. Victoria Arlen and Val Chmerkovskiy After emotions ran a little too high, this performance was all about bringing the fun back to the forefront, and that was a good thing. You could tell Victoria was in a much better place than she was last week. They threw it all the way back to 1928 for a homage to Steamboat Willie. She and Val fit together like a glove, and their performance was a well-choreographed one that proved they have been taking feedback on board. Score: 27/30! Vanessa Lachey and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: Vanessa and Maks have been solid dancers all season long, and despite some alleged behind the scenes drama, they do work well together. However, they aren’t exactly offering anything new with their performances. With some of the other couples going from strength-to-strength, this pair appears to be stuck in a rut. That’s not to say their waltz was terrible. They just need to change things up a little. They could have done so much different with their Snow White and the Seven Dwarves inspired performance. Score: 24/30! Lindsey Stirling and Mark Ballas Lindsay claimed she always wanted to be a Disney princess, and it sounded like the judges agreed that she would make a great one. The jazz from the couple won rave reviews from them, and Len even handed them out a 10. When does that ever happen with Len? He’s always got something negative to say. Score: 28/30! Nick Lachey and Peta Murgatroyd Being at the bottom of the scoreboard is not the best place to be, and Nick knew there was a lot riding on his performance. The couple performed the quickstep, and you could tell it took its toll on Nick. The Jungle Book is a great movie, and now, we will probably never watch it again thanks to Nick’s wooden performance. By the end, he looked like he wanted to take a nap on the stage, and the judges picked up on it. Score: 22/30! Drew Scott and Emma Slater Drew and Emma have had a lot of chemistry going for them since the season kicked off, and that always seems to go in their favor. The went with a fun performance inspired by The Muppets Movie. The waltz garnered them some praise from the judges, and they really deserved it. Score: 25/30! Sasha Pieterse and Gleb Savchenko This duo went with the rumba inspired by The Little Mermaid, and it was a delight. Sasha struggled with nerves earlier in the season, and has been improving every single week. The judges took note, with Carrie saying she was “mesmerized” by the whole display. Even Len gave another positive comment. What’s going on? Score: 24/30! Terrell Owens and Cheryl Burke All of the performances seemed much better than recent ones, and Terrell’s was inspired by The Lion King. The whole performance was full of memorable moments, and Terrell managed to dance very well given the big height difference between him and Cheryl. They secured their highest score of the season, and it was well deserved. Score: 25/30! Frankie Muniz and Witney Carson While his short-term memory may not be all that, Frankie’s short-term one is good because he continues to be one of the best dancers. The duo went with a tango to The Pirates of the Caribbean. The performance would have definitely secured a perfect score had Witney’s heel not caught in her dress. Score: 29/30! Jordan Fisher and Lindsay Arnold Jordan knows a lot about Disney, and that’s because he has been in the family for a long time. He performed a foxtrot to his song “You’re Welcome” from Moana. It was flawless, and the judges seemed to think it was the best performance of the season. They were right. It secured them a perfect score. Score: 30/30! Nikki Bella and Artem Chigvintsev Nikki went with the upcoming move, Coco, as her inspiration, and it was a refreshing mix of style, confidence, and chemistry with Artem. It was a real surprise, and Len called it Nikki’s best dance yet. Score: 27/30! Sasha Pieterse & Gleb Savchenko, and Frankie Muniz & Witney Carson found themselves in the bottom two. No, that’s not a joke. In the end, Sasha and Gleb were sent packing. It’s not up there with the Heather Morris elimination, but it sure was shocking. Nick Lachey should have been the one to go! Lol. Apparently the “teen bride” who was 40 at the time, is officially 23 years old today…because it is her birthday, so everyone….praise one of the most important people who has entered our lives…through tabloids…being ultimately irrelevant. Demi Rose is some UK Kardashian from instagram, reminding the world that the UK is capable of producing big titty piles of trashy shit, that they can put into bikinis and pawn off to their soccer stars, it’s really their expertise…because when you think of UK babes from the last two decades, they’ve all been trashy Glamour girls who get half naked and celebrated by the tabloids….she’s just more modern and Kardashian than a Katie Price Jordan and her money went into her comical fake ass…something that I guess would be comical fake tits a decade ago…but the British are so sophisticated, refined and evolved…or some shit.. I never post on this girl, but I see her all the time in the media now, and it’s like WHY…who cares…but then I remember the UK have a weird thing with woman, into tranny, all because they are all a bunch of fags, you can tell by their accents… Disgusting. Every time a new round of explicit photos stolen from a celebrity’s private collection goes public, there’s a renewed outcry to tighten security and ramp up enforcement of existing laws. Unfortunately, most of the time, the perpetrators go unpunished, and it’s typically not long before a new round of celebrity nudes goes public. The latest victim is Justin Bieber, and in a bizarre twist, the singer’s ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez was also victimized by the hackers. According to TMZ, several nude photos of Bieber appeared on Gomez’s Instagram page Monday afternoon. The site reports that the hackers captioned the photo with lewd comments about Bieber and boasts about their hacking abilities. “LOOK AT THIS N-GGA LIL SHRIMPY,” they wrote, before encouraging users to follow three Instagram accounts, each of which only has a handful of posts, but several thousand followers. “We run da scene,” they concluded. The hackers Instagram accounts have been suspended, and their handles are being kept from public view pending an investigation. Gomez quickly deactivated her account after the hack. She is now back on Instagram, and has not yet publicly commented on the incident. Bieber has also not yet commented on the situation, and it’s possible that both singers will simply refuse to acknowledge the hackers, as they seem to be seeking notoriety. This is not the first time that Bieber has been hacked , and sadly, it looks as though it may not be the last. There are those who have argued that like obnoxious paparazzi and over-zealous fans, a lack of digital privacy is just a reality of life as a celebrity in the 21st century. The problem with that argument, of course, is that sharing someone’s nude photos without their consent constitutes a sex crime, and a world where famous people are forced to accept being victimized by sexual predators, is surely one that none of us wants to live in. We don’t pretend to have the answer to the growing problem, but we’re certain that a complacent shrug is not the solution. This time, the photos were removed quickly, but both Justin and Selena have no doubt been left with lingering feelings of vulnerability. Past victims of photo hacking have described feelings of anxiety so intense they were unable to leave their homes. Both celebrities and non-famous folks who have been victims of hacks are acutely aware of a reality that most of us do are best to ignore at 2017: Each of us is more exposed than ever before, and few among of us have any real sense of what it takes to keep out personal data safe. Today it’s Justin Bieber, but tomorrow it could be anyone. View Slideshow: Justin Bieber Fans Offer #PrayersForBieber in Wake of Tour Cancelation
The Bachelor's 2017 season came to a close with Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi engaged and totally, utterly, blissfully in love. Or something. Judging by the reaction of fans and Bachelor Nation members, their breakup would be immediate if not sooner. They turned out to be correct. Nick and Vanessa broke up Friday, August 25, after just five months. It turns out he was more into fame and didn't want to move to Canada. We know, who would've EVER seen that coming. At least Nick's latest breakup gave us The Bachelorette season starring Rachel Lindsay. This summer, Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo got engaged , and while fans aren't hugely enthralled with him, they too seem in love. Will they be the new golden couple for the franchise, a la Trista and Ryan, Ashley and J.P., Jason and Molly and Desiree and Chris? Or another Juan Pablo and Nikki Ferrell, Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray, Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff? Or … Nick and Vanessa? Sorry, too soon. The point is, we can't help but wonder as we ponder the future: Who is living happily ever after? Who is not? You don't need The Bachelor spoilers to tell you that the “made it” list is a lot shorter than the other, though there are exceptions. A final rose does not a future make. Perhaps Bryan and Rachel will surprise, but with this track record, and human nature in general? We're not betting on it. Just saying. Take a look at some notable duos from The Bachelor and Bachelorette and see whether they're still together since the show: 1. Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo are a match made in heaven … or are they? Bachelor Nation seemed to prefer runner-up Peter Kraus, but Rachel went with the smooth (too smooth for some fans’ liking) doctor from Miami at the last minute. If Bryan didn’t watch the finale, which centered primarily on Peter waffling over his willingness to propose and Rachel being hung up on him? Then they might be alright. 2. Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi Look … we wished Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi all the best. That was just the least inspiring public debut from a Bachelor couple since Juan Pablo and Nikki, and it never got much better before they eventually broke up. Come on, people. We were talking about Nick Viall, who was clearly bitten hard by the fame bug, and fell for a girl who didn’t want to be in the “business” or leave Canada, where he had no interest in moving. Just saying. The odds made them a definite underdog from the start, and their five-month relationship proved skeptics correct. 3. JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers are an interesting case, both seemingly over the moon in love and behind the proverbial eight ball since day one. They certainly seem to have weathered whatever storms have been in their path thus far, but it’s still in the “honeymoon” phase, and we can’t shake the feeling that there’s more to Aaron’s little brother than we know – or that JoJo does at this point. Chances they’ll make it to the altar? 50-50. 4. Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell It was a good year, closer to a year and a half actually, which is a long time for any relationship, and Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell recently called out what they deemed as “fake news” that said they had broken up … but they canceled their wedding and just admitted that they broke up. #realnews 5. Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth have looked the part of the happy couple ever since they got engaged in August 2015. But will their engagement actually last and stand the test of time? The show’s track record suggests otherwise … but here we are a year and a half later, so the joke’s on us? 6. Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff Chris Soules and Whitney Bischoff just got engaged on The Bachelor season finale in March 2015 … only to break up in May 2015! What seemed like the perfect fit turned out to be anything but. View Slideshow
