To friends of Christina Aguilera, her national anthem mishap at last night’s Super Bowl wasn’t a case of nerves. It was just the latest example of a human being in desperate need of help. Aguilera has had a rough yer. Her latest studio album tanked; reviews for Burlesque were less than kind; she divorced Jordan Bratman in the fall of 2010 and quickly started up with Matthew Rutler, someone her associates believe is a shady rebound . Since then, racy photos of the artist were leaked online and sources say she passed out in Jeremy Renner’s bedroom at the actor’s 40th birthday party. “Christina’s drinking has some of her friends worried,” an insider tells In Touch Weekly . “She seems to be getting out of control, and her friends want her to get PROFESSIONAL help. The past few weeks, her partying has escalated.” That was not the case at the Super Bowl, however. Witnesses say Aguilera hung around for the beginning of the contest, but quickly left for the airport, skipping all post-game events and looking “visibly upset” over her lyrical mistake.

In a surprising, albeit necessary, turn of events, Charlie Sheen has checked himself into a rehab center. The news comes just hours after the actor was released from the hospital , following yet another crazy night that concluded with him being carted away in an ambulance. Kacey Jordan Interview Sources say the interview above – a detailed account of the raging, cocaine-fueled evening in question, given by porn star Kacey Jordan – played a key role in Sheen’s reps finally convincing him to enter the undisclosed facility. Production on Two and a Half Men will be placed on hold until Sheen is ready to work again. In a statement, producers from that show say: “Due to Charlie Sheen’s decision to enter a rehabilitation center, CBS, Warner Bros. Television and executive producer Chuck Lorre are placing Two and a Half Men on production hiatus. We are profoundly concerned for his health and well-being, and support his decision.” So do we. Charlie, you’re easy and fun to mock. But get some help, man. You sorely need it.

Four other women were at Sheen’s home (no word if Bree Olson was among them) when Jordan showed up. Sheen’s shirt was stained with wine. This was Tuesday. Jordan left Sheen’s home Wednesday afternoon, but Charlie was ” still partying ” as she walked out the door. Guy goes ALL out.
