Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty Kanye West ‘s fourth studio album 808s & Heartbreak turned ten years old over the weekend and in honor of the milestone, ‘Ye’s frequent collaborator, producer Malik Yusef , has announced a North American tribute tour. There will be performers at each stop, however West is not slated to hit the stage. “I don’t do anything without Kanye’s blessing,” Yusuf said in a statement to Pitchfork , confirming West signed off on the tour . “The producer will sponsor it and serve as the emcee,” Pitchfork wrote. “The 15-city tour will feature performances of the album’s songs by local artists at each stop. Performers will be picked by a yet-to-be-detailed voting process. The tour kicks off in Los Angeles and will wrap up in New York. However, the Everyday Struggle co-host insists he is not the confidential informant in the federal case against Tekashi69 and his now former Treyway affiliates. Akademiks was accused by a Hip-Hop blog of being the loose-lipped informant, which went as far as saying Tekashi’s former manager and co-defendant Kifano “Shotti” Jordan’s lawyer is who fingered him as the snitch. Worth noting, Shotti is one of the voices heard allegedly plotting to harm his former client on a federal wiretap . However, TMZ heard from the lawyer , Scott Leemon, who claims he never said such a thing. Akademiks also spoke to TMZ, and vehemently denied the claim. Akademiks told TMZ he has “zero connection to this criminal case against Daniel Hernandez & other co-defendants. I view them as good people to me.” He added, “All these charges are a shock to me and do not involve me. I have never been questioned or much less cooperated in this. I am just a news reporter.” Also, no, he’s a not a news reporter. But what Akademiks did do is recklessly bring up Casanova’s name on Twitch. Creed 2 is coming back bigger and better than ever. For Adonis the stakes are higher this time around, fighting is nothing new to him, he had to fight for everything he’s got so far so it’s no surprise that he will have to fight even harder to keep it. On today’s episode of Extra Butter with Xilla Valentine we take a deep dive into Creed II as we chat with Michael B Jordan, Tessa Thompson, Dolph Lundgren , and Florian Munteanu as well as director Steven Caple Jr, who was hand-picked by Ryan Coogler to take over the franchise. In order to fully understand this story, you gotta go back to 1985 when Russian boxer Ivan Drago killed Adonis’s father Apollo Creed in a tragic match that stunned the world. The former heavyweight champion died on live tv after fighting Ivan against the wishes of trainer Rocky Balboa. Rocky had to get into the ring with Ivan to avenge his friend’s death, but after that loss Ivan loss everything back home in Russia and has trained his son Viktor to be bigger and better than he was in his prime. So the rise of Apollo’s son Adonis Johnson Creed to champion, Ivan feels like this is the perfect time for redemption in order to get back all that was lost. Michael B Jordan gets to show off his acting ability in this movie by showing strength, emotion, athleticism and much more. He laughs, cries and fights all throughout this film. I talked to him about showing off his range. “It was incredible. This was the first time I’ve been able to do a sequel to any film that I’ve done before. I get to take this character to the next level, to show Adonis advance in his career and his relationship by really showing what black love really is. Giving him a family of his own, fatherhood something he never really knew how to do because he didn’t really have that growing up. We just wanted to challenge him in all aspects of life and see how he responds to it.” The visuals for this film are off the hook, if you have seen the trailer you know there is a dope sequence when Adonis trains as Muhammad Ali trained by shadow boxing underwater. Steven told me, “We wanted to pay homage but also we did something that was new, which was shadowboxing underwater and then lift out of the water with Michael, and the camera then goes back under water. It’s real boxing stuff. Michael also had ankle weights attached to his body so he could stay under which was super dangerous but it helped keep him grounded.” It’s an epic shot for an amazing movie filled with great fight sequences and a heartfelt story. Michael even took a punch to the chin when first-time actor Florian Munteanu got too wrapped up in his character and blacked out. Watch until the end of the video to hear that story. So much for those wedding bells. They won't be ringing any time soon for Leah Messer and Jason Jordan. Despite what seemed like a healthy and serious relationship between the Teen Mom cast member and her older boyfriend of several months, sources confirmed this week that it's all over between Messer and Jordan . Was the age difference too much to overcome? Did one side cheat? Is there anything scandalous here to report? Rosie O’Donnell is ready to walk down the aisle again. The long-time comedian confirmed on Monday that she’s engaged to Elizabeth Rooney. Speaking to People Magazine at the 15th-anniversary celebration of her organization, Rosie’s Theater Kids, in New York City, O’Donnell explained that the couple is very happy about its arrangement… … but may not get married any time too soon. “This is a long time in the future. We both decided that that would be best,” O’Donnell told this publication. Describing Rooney, who is only 33 years old, as a “wonderful woman,” the former talk show host revealed the pair has been dating from two different cities since they went public in November 2017. They’ve managed to make the long distance set-up work, however. “She lives in Boston now and I live here in New York. It’s been a long-distance thing,” Rosie said, adding: It’s been great. I think she’s a wonderful woman.” Rooney is actually an Army veteran and was also an undefeated boxer during her time of service. “She’s very much an equal, she’s very much her own person and loves what she does. She’s a pretty unbelievable young woman,” O’Donnell gushed about her fiancee. What about the 23-year old age difference between the betrothed couple? What about it?!? In the airport people say, ‘Rosie, can I have a picture of you and your daughter?’ She doesn’t seem to think it’s an issue at all. “Nobody ever does, but I do sometimes. I was already on Star Search by the time you were born.” Rosie was previously married to Michelle Rounds. She tragically died of apparent suicide in September of 2017 at age 46. They share one daughter, a five-year old named Dakota. O’Donnell also has four kids — son Parker, 23, son Blake, 18, and daughter Vivienne, 15, and 21-year-old estranged daughter Chelsea — with ex-wife Kelli Carpenter-O’Donnell.
Scott Disick has been sure to use social media to remind Kourtney and the world that he is still banging a very young model . His relationship with now-20-year-old Sofia Richie has lasted longer than anyone expected — him included. Apparently, Scott has been caught off-guard by how well they work as a couple. He never thought anyone could replace Kourtney. According to a report by HollywoodLife , Scott Disick is blown away that his relationship with Sofia is as good an enduring as it is. “Scott thinks Sofia looks amazing,” the insider says. We’ll just take that as confirmation that Scott has functioning eyes. “And,” the source continues. “He is more attracted to her today than ever before.” Sometimes, relationships that began with physical attraction and sexual compatibility die down. But there’s more than general horniness keeping these two from going their separate ways. “Scott and Sofia are in a really good place together,” the insider reveals. And apparently no one is more surprised by this than Scott himself. According to the source: “He never thought he could love anyone as much as he did Kourtney.” Scott is apparently “totally in love” with Sofia. Not only has he caught feelings, but apparently he no longer views Kourtney as the one-of-a-kind beauty that he once did. “He also never thought that he would be more attracted to anyone as much as he was with Kourtney,” the insider dishes. He thought that Kourtney would always be his personal hotness high point, the source notes, “but Sofia proved that wrong too.” “Scott thinks Sofia is gorgeous, sexy, and even hotter than Kourtney,” the insider says. Well, to be fair, so does Maxim . Apparently there is a lot of compatibility between these two. “They have fun together,” the source explains. “Sofia laughs at all of Scott’s silly jokes,” the insider adds. If we didn’t know that Scott can be genuinely funny, we’d think that she’s just faking laughter to be polite. “And,” the source continues. “Their chemistry in the bedroom is totally on fire.” Good for them. It sounds like this has been good for Scott on multiple levels, especially in contrast with how he spent so much of 2017. The insider says that Scott has been “living much healthier.” And yes, that means that he has been “partying much less.” That’s great to hear. A lot of people were really worried about him last year as he continued on his downward spiral. Scott has also reportedly been “behaving more maturely” and “being a better father.” Up until that last bit, those sound like things that you’d say to praise someone’s idiot college boyfriend. But hey, progress is progress. Apparently, Scott is not the only one who is taken aback by how well this relationship is going. “Kourtney is surprised and shocked that Scott is still in a relationship with Sofia,” an insider shares. As the source says: “Kourtney never believed that Scott and Sofia had much in common.” “And,” the insider notes, Kourtney “always felt their age difference would create problems.” Scott is an elder Millennial, and Sofia is about as young as you can get without being Gen Z. Kourtney is frankly “amazed” that young, hot Sofia hasn’t “moved on by now,” the source reveals. Sofia is young, famous, and gorgeous. It’s easy to look at her and wonder why she’s spending so much time “wasting” one — so far, just one — of her best years with an older man. But different people have different interests. Some 20-year-olds don’t want to be tied down. Others are looking for an older guy who’s just immature enough to be relatable. So much for those marriage rumors , huh? Heck, so much for those dinner plans they may have had for this upcoming weekend. The romance has come to an end for Leah Messer and Jason Jordan. The Teen Mom 2 star and her older boyfriend had only been an item for about six months, but they seemed to be pretty darn serious. Where did things go wrong? “It just wasn’t working,” a source tells Us Weekly . “They’re just not a good fit.” Messer and Jordan were introduced by the latter’s cousin, who has known Leah for some time. There was a 14-year age difference between the MTV personality and her new man, but that didn’t seem to get in the way. “Even though he’s older, they have a lot in common,” a different insider told the same tabloid this summer, adding at the time: “They share the same faith and have gone to church together. They love hiking, cooking and are both very family oriented. He’s very attentive.” Messer, as readers likely known, has eight-year old twins named Ali and Aleeah. She shares them with ex-husband Corey Simms. She also has a five-year old daughter named Adalynn who she shares with her second ex-husband, Jeremy Calvert. Jordan, meanwhile, has a two-year old of his own from a previous relationship, but the children all got along well, Us Weekly wrote in the past, with Messer’s especially taking a liking to Jordan. We hope this split doesn’t make them too sad. “He’s a good dad,” Messer said of Jason several weeks ago. “He’s an all-around good person.” This may still be the case, of course. Jordan may be absolutely perfect. But the real question is whether he was perfect for Leah — and the answer appears to be no. Teen Mom 2 fans will now be left with an obvious follow-up question to this news. They’ll be wondering: What does this mean for Messer and Calvert? Does it open the door to another reconciliation between the exes?!? Leah has made it fairly clear that she isn’t interested in getting back together with Calvert, despite the fact that the two totally knocked boots earlier this year. (That is, Messer and Calvert hooked up .) Back in the day, Calvert questioned Messer’s ability to care for their daughter and accused her of harboring an addiction to prescription painkillers, a claim that she still denies. However, he called Leah during an episode of Teen Mom 2 several months ago and acknowledged how far she has come as a woman and a mother and said he was really sorry for the way he acted after they broke up. “I really truthfully, want to, like, deeply apologize for saying that about you,” Jeremy told Leah. “I do really want to thank you for like being a good mom to my kids.” He even added: “No matter what, I’m still always going to love you.” Here.
