And the desire to be cuddled up, spending time with the one you like is at an all time high.   In millennial lingo, we summarize all those feels with one term: Cuffing Season. It feels like we were just flipping burgers on the grill for Labor Day — now folks are scanning their recent dating rosters to see who’s good enough to spend the majority of their time with for the next eight months or so. One Twitter user joked , “It’s cuffing season baby. time to lose ur sense of self and merge identities w another person bc it’s cold outside.” While some folks are scrambling to decide between their top three eligible candidates — some of us are just fine staying aboard the “single and lovin’ it” train. Bustle recently did an article on why Cuffing Season is an awesome time to be single, and it brought up many valid points. Heather Ebert , a dating and relationship expert at WhatsYourPrice.com, told the site, “Cuffing season is, in part, a result of societal pressure dating. A lot of it has to do with singles not wanting to show up alone when they go home for the holidays. Some people want to be showered with gifts … others just want to cuddle up next to someone to stay warm.” She added, “It’s easy to get caught up in the hype of cuffing season and rush to settle down for the winter.  But those romances are unlikely to outlast the cold because they’re rushed and usually not met with intentions of lasting any longer. Instead of focusing on settling down for the last part of the year, spend some time on yourself and with your family.”   It’s not just the experts who say Cuffing Season is nothing but hype. Shy_Charles recently tweeted, “Not being funny but cuffing season isn’t really a thing, is it? Like yeah the nights draw in and it’s Christmas and that but you’ve got Valentine’s straight after and then summer romances after that! Every season is cuffing season, let’s just be serious.”  Let’s do something a little different this go round, and celebrate the uncoupled and uncuffed this year with seriously Anti-Cuffing Season songs. He was… In front of the Majestic hotel in Detroit; we used to call him ‘Detroit Red.’ [He] had his Italian suits on – that’s why when Spike Lee did Malcolm X, I said, ‘Malcolm couldn’t walk around the Blue Zoot’s marching down the street, he’s a dope dealer.’ He [Ray Charles] got me hooked for five months, at 15. After we’d finish the Washington Social club and a couple of other ones, we’d all go down to Jackson street to the Elks club. When they’d finish playing, everybody would go into a corner, Ray would let me get in the corner, and they had it on their thumb. Justin Bieber: Struggling With Guilt Following Selena Gomez Breakdown

Selena Gomez suffered an emotional breakdown during her battle with lupus, and had to be hospitalized as a result. As it turns out, her very much engaged ex Justin Bieber is feeling wrecked over her current health. Despite his engagement, he’s said to be feeling “confused.” According to what a pair of sources tell  E! , Selena Gomez’s emotional breakdown and subsequent hospitalization is just too much for the Biebs. An insider reports that Justin feels “conflicted and confused” over his own feelings. “They have both had emotional struggles,” a source explains. Justin’s angry outbursts over the years were well documented, and people close to him have spoken openly about his past struggles with substances. “And,” an insider details, Justin and Selene “bonded over that in the past.” Now, however, things are different. Even if Justin wanted to come rushing to her side, that doesn’t seem likely. “Justin and Selena are not in touch,” a source makes clear. That’s no surprise. For one thing, Selena is cut off from all but a few trusted individuals. “But,” an insider notes. “Him hearing the news about Selena definitely upsets him.” “Justin,” a source adds. “Also feels guilty.” Apparently, it is Justin’s innate nurturing nature, rather than merely their lengthy relationship history, that has him deep in his feelings. “He wants to help everyone,” an insider says. Awww. Bless his heart. A source insists that “he truly wants Selena to be happy.” “And,” an insider explains. “It’s upsetting to know she’s battling health issues.” That makes a lot of sense. it’s upsetting to us that Selena is going through all of this, too. Justin has admittedly “been very emotional” since this news broke. However, insiders make it very clear that he is taking his engagement to Hailey “very seriously.” In other words, don’t expect him to drop her and go running back to Selena. To him, a promise to get married is sacred. In fact, a source says that Justin raced to the altar with Hailey in an effort to “show her he was serious this time.” Ah, yes — the best possible reason to marry someone is to prove a point. So it sounds like Justin and Hailey’s engagement — or marriage , depending upon whom you ask — is secure for now. But how is Selena doing? An insider reveals that Selena is “already feeling better” now that she is receiving treatment. Selena is “getting the help she needs,” a source affirms. Lupus is already a hell of a thing, but we’re glad that she’s getting emotional support as she copes with it. “Depression is something she’s always struggled with,” an insider explains. That makes sense. Tens of millions of Americans cope with depression every day. “But whenever it gets really bad for Selena,” a source details. “She removes herself from social media.” Shortly before her breakdown, Selena took a step back from Instagram . “And,” an insider continued, Selena then “withdraws from people who aren’t a handful of the people she trusts.” That is a smart policy. Khloe Kardashian: Terrified Tristan Thompson Will Abandon His Family?!

Khloe Kardashian was swelling with both maternal and auntly pride when she shared a photo of five Kardashian babies in one spot . But, according to a new report, it turns out that her private life is being dictated by her fears about True’s future. Is Khloe clinging to Tristan because she worries that, if she leaves him, he’ll abandon True, too? RadarOnline reports that Khloe is clingy with her cheating baby daddy for one reason and one reason only. “Khloe’s worst nightmare is that Tristan will be an absent father to True,” the insider reveals. The report is quick to make it clear that Khloe is still dating him for her own reasons. “She loves him,” the source clarifies. “But,” the insider continues. “The reason she’s clingy is because she doesn’t want him to be a part-time dad to True.” Khloe’s fear is apparently that Tristan will be an absentee father to True “like he is to his son.” Tristan’s son, of course, is one-year-old Prince. Jordan Craig, pictured above wearing red, is Tristan’s ex. This report claims that Tristan doesn’t make time for his ex’s kid in the way that he does for his current woman’s child. The source says that Tristan only sees Prince “every now and then.” Apparently, photos like this one of Tristan with both of his children, symbolize what is most important to Khloe. “Every time Tristan brought gifts home for True,” the insider says. “Khloe reminded him to send some to Prince.” It is heartbreaking to hear even an unverified report that a father had to be reminded about one of his children. “She wanted him to spoil his son the same way he spoiled True,” the source explains. Good for Khloe. You should always love your children, not just whichever one happens to be in front of you at the time. Apparently Khloe’s concerns have a lot to do with her own issues. We hate to call them “daddy issues” because it’s sounds dismissive, but … they’re daddy issues. “Khloe was devastated when her dad died,” the source explains. “And,” the insider continues, Khloe “wants True and Tristan to have a strong bond.” Khloe wants Tristan and True to have a relationship “like she did with her dad, no matter what.” Robert Kardashian’s death was heartbreaking for his entire family. He was a good man who adored his children. Since the first — at the time, unfathomable — reports came out back in April that Khloe had not dumped Tristan’s cheating ass, people have wondered why. Even then, people suspected that Khloe’s own issues related to her late father made her reluctant to break up with Tristan. Some children are happy that their parents divorced, others simply adjust or cope. But others will spend their lives believing that it should never have happened. Did Khloe refuse to break up in the first place because her own experience with divorce made her believe that True needs both parents? We suspect that, on some level, even Khloe couldn’t answer that with absolute certainty. Is this report true? We … kind of hope not. Don’t get us wrong, it would totally explain why Khloe has remained with the man who humiliated her in front of the world at such a critical moment in their relationship. But the report almost suggests that Khloe is using her affections to secure a father figure for True. A real father — which we would like to believe that Tristan is — wouldn’t need Khloe’s smothering attention to remind him of either of his children. Samantha Markle Confesses: I Want to Get Rich By Trashing Meghan!

It’s been almost five months since Meghan Markle married Prince Harry, and thus far, the marriage has been as devoid of drama as most royal unions (sadly, the Fergies of the world are the exception, not the rule). Fortunately, Meghan’s awful family has provided plenty of unintentional entertainment as they attempt to cash in on their tenuous ties to the throne. Half-sister Samantha Markle has been doing her best to humiliate Meghan since before her engagement was announced, and at first, some folks gave her the benefit of the doubt. With the possible exception of obsessive Suits most folks didn’t know much about Meghan’s personal life, and thus, certain media outlets ate up Sam’s accounts of a spoiled, selfish princess-in-training. It’s not like any of those traits are hugely uncommon amongst C-list actresses. But as we learned more about both Meghan and Samantha, a clearer picture began to emerge. Samantha was a failed actress (with a one-time appearance on freakin’ Matlock as her sole IMDb credit), who had been spent most of her life consumed with jealousy toward her more successful little sister. Even Samantha’s mother sided with Meghan and admitted that Sam’s been a thorn in her sibling’s side for quite some time: “Samantha has been dogging her for years,” she said of her daughter. “Everything she has said about her is a lie.” Despite Samantha having been thoroughly discredited (we now know she had zero contact with Meghan for more than a decade before the royal wedding), the 53-year-old remains a fixture on the British media circuit. And as E! News points out, Sam has finally admitted that her main goal in slandering her sister is to get rich by riding Meg’s coattails. “Let’s face it—we all have to survive,” Samantha said in a recent interview. “Money makes the world go round, so if you want to call that cashing in, that’s fine, but I think no one in media would refuse a paycheck for talking about the royals and, as a family, we’re not subject to royal protocol.” Hmm … we think a LOT of people would refuse a paycheck that required them to publicly insult members of their immediate family, but that’s just us. Samantha’s favorite justification for her repulsive behavior is that she’s “in the media.” When pressed about her nasty put-downs, she dismisses them as the result of having “worked in broadcasting and radio for a while,” adding that she’s “always been a bit boisterous.” So when Samantha shows up at Kensington Palace unannounced and has to be turned away by security, she’s not making her sister’s life a living hell. No, she’s just trying to earn a living. And if she has to ruin her sister’s life in the process? Hey, that’s just the cost of doing business. Kylie Jenner: I Don’t Need Family Anymore! I’m a Billionaire!

New mom Kylie Jenner has been stunning the world with her post-baby bikini body , but she’s more focused on her baby and her business these days. In fact, she may be a little too busy to slum it with her siblings on the reality show that catapulted them all to stardom. A new report says that Kylie wants to drop Keeping Up With The Kardashians because she’s a billionaire. RadarOnline reports that Kylie may quit KUWTK . (Try saying that five times rapidly) “Kris is desperate to keep Kylie on the show,” the insider warns. The show is built on the power of their entire family. Unlike, say, Rob, viewers would miss seeing Kylie. “And,” the source says, Kris “thinks that she is essential to renegotiating” how much they are paid and how much control the family maintains over production and editing. That is, after all, something that Momager Kris will need to do “after the contracts end.” But Kylie’s status as the world’s most powerful influencer may not be the leverage that Kris is seeking. “But,” the insider notes. “She has a billion dollars already.” Or close enough. Kylie Cosmetics is worth enough to make your eyes bleed, and the value keeps going up every year. “She doesn’t need the show at all anymore,” the source reveals. That could spell trouble for the family’s signature series. Kylie hasn’t needed the show for a while. But now, she just has other priorities. “Kylie wants to focus on her baby and her cosmetics line instead,” the insider explains. Reality stardom has reportedly been getting old. Probably because she’s been at it for half of her life. “She hasn’t been into the show in a while,” the source reports. “And,” the insider continues. “It just has been really difficult for her to fit it into her already super busy schedule.” If this report is true, it is understandable that Kylie feels this way. Kim, Kourtney, Khloe, and Kris all signed up for Keeping Up With The Kardashians . They were grown adults. They had a choice. Kylie was just a kid. This life path has been massively rewarding, but it’s not something that she chose for herself. Kylie Cosmetics, however, is her baby. Stormi, in a much more literal sense, is also her baby. It would make a lot of sense for her to focus on the things that she really wants in life instead of upon the things that were thrust upon her. Especially if she doesn’t need that reality show paycheck to pay the bills. But let’s look at this from another angle — and consider whether this report is true. First of all, Kylie may feel some sense of familial obligation to help keep the show going. She’s certainly helped out her family before. (Well, she helped out Rob before — he’s arguably the only adult in the family who really needs help with anything) Second of all, we should remember that all of the Kardashian projects are inextricably tied to their respective brands. That means that their bodies, their social media presence, their products, and their reality television appearances do not exist within a vacuum. Kylie may fear that abandoning her family’s show could eventually cause her company to lose value. There’s another huge factor. Back in July, we learned that Life of Kylie was renewed . If Kylie is really too fatigued to continue being on a show on which she is part of an ensemble cast, is she really going to keep doing a show on which she is the star? We’re not suggesting that anyone place bets one way or the other, but while Kylie may feel conflicted, we wouldn’t be surprised if she sticks with KUWTK . Bristol Palin vs. Dakota Meyer: The Feud Explodes!

Remember a week ago when Dakota Meyer said things between himself and Bristol Palin were ” the best [they’ve] ever been .” Well… a lot can change in a week. On this past Monday’s episode of Teen Mom OG , viewers watched Bristol and Dakota basically end their marriage, as both sides apologized for their mistakes and both acknowledged Meyer’s PTSD had become too much for the relationship to handle. It seemed as though the divorce was mutual and, hey, at the time, maybe everything was amicable. In a new MTV-sponsored video, however, Palin advised viewers not to rush into relationships and pregnancies, telling her audience the following: “I got engaged and pregnant within a month. Planned a wedding. And I was like, ‘I can’t get married.’ Called off the wedding. Went through the whole pregnancy by myself. “Friggin sucked.” That scenario does sound like it would friggin suck. And Palin made it sound even worse when she said she felt guilty that her second child essentially had no father and, as a result… “I got back together with him. Got married right away. Had another baby right away. And then we got divorced just recently.” Meyer, however, has taken EXTREME exception to this portrayal of both himself and the situation between him and Palin. He grants Bristol the basic facts of her pregnancies, but points most of the blame in her direction when it comes to the decisions she made and the way she handled it all. “Yes, we got pregnant right after our engagement,” he captioned a photo of himself and his daughter Sailor, 2. “We planned a wedding with our families and friends and Bristol decided to leave me a week prior . I spoke with her family every month and made it clear I would be the father of my child. “I reached out to her before Sailor was born and asked what the plan was to co-parent. She told me to go through the courts to establish paternity.” Moreover, Meyer argues, if Bristol felt so guilty… if she actually wanted him in the picture… why wasn’t he invited to the birth of his child? “I found out my child was born on Twitter,” he wrote this week in response to Bristol’s video, adding: “Can you imagine being a dad and not being allowed to be at your child’s birth? She denied my paternity until it could be proven, at which point Sailor was born. “For Bristol to state that Sailor didn’t have a dad is laughable. “What really happened is Bristol kept our daughter from having a father present at birth and until the courts ruled that I was her father.” Meyer concluded his angry post like this; “I can promise you this, Sailor and Atlee always had a dad, and always will have a dad.” Pretty straightforward and to the point from Meyer. And we can understand why he’s so upset here. Palin is doing what all Teen Mom cast members almost have to do: stir up drama. She and Dakota can’t just have a friendly divorce and pleasant co-parenting arrangement and nothing more because why would viewers tune in each week? But Meyer is a veteran. He suffers from anxiety and depression and constant nightmares because everyone in his platoon except for himself was killed years ago in a battle in Afghanistan. This is anything but your run-of-the-mill Teen Mom or reality show fodder. After all he’s been through, Meyer isn’t about to sit back and let his life story be turned into a ratings or publicity-grab by his ex-wife. And, really, can you blame him?!? Lauren Burnham: Jenna Cooper is NOT a Cheater!!

Last month, the Bachelor in Paradise finale was marred by a cheating scandal . Jenna Cooper and Jordan Kimball won … and then all hell broke loose. Alleged texts say that Jenna was cheating, but she swears that she’s a victim of fraud — and says she can prove it. Now, she’s being defended by none other than Bachelor Winner Lauren Burnham. So, remember how Bekah Martinez told the world that most of the women from  The Bachelor  had still kept in touch? Well, several women from Arie’s season, including Lauren Burnham, Jaqueline Turmbull, and Sienne Flemming, got together for a slumber party. (Yes, these women had all dated Arie, yes, Lauren is his fiancee, and yes, Arie was apparently also there) One of Arie’s exes who was present was Jenna Cooper, who was eliminated in week 6 of the season. These women are friends, so the gathering makes sense — except to fans who think that Jenna is some sort of snake in the grass. A fan commented on Instagram, writing: “Anyone else think it’s so shady that they’re all hanging out with Jenna?” The comment concludes: “after she proved how terrible of a human she is?” If you’re wondering  wait, when did she “prove” she’s terrible?  … you are not alone. “No spewing hate here, love,” Lauren Burnham replied to the fan’s comment. “There are two sides to every story,” Lauren reminds the commenter. “And,” Lauren says. “The only evidence I know of backs the fact that Jenna did not do what she’s being accused of.” “What’s the evidence?” a curious fan demands to know. Lauren clearly has a healthy set of boundaries (for a  Bachelor  star, anyway), because she doesn’t cough up the goods. “That’s for her to release,” Lauren replies. She is absolutely correct — we’ll get into what that evidence may be in just a moment. “It should be happening very soon,” Lauren teases. A lot of fans would be very happy to see solid proof instead of relying upon speculation. Lauren reminds fans that she is not exactly the type to just decide who is innocent and who is guilty all willy-nilly. “I am not one to jump on the bandwagon and take a side without solid evidence,” Lauren affirms. “I can tell you that her story is very compelling,” Lauren adds. “And she has professional proof.” She then offers a worde of warning for fans who leapt to conclusions when this alleged cheating scandal first broke. Lauren suggests: “I would just advise not to be so quick to publicly state opinions without knowing the whole story.” Jenna was accused of cheating after text messages were published which purportedly showed that Jenna was cheating on Jordan Kimball. Those same texts indicated that she was planning on dumping him, which would have been humiliating after his  Bachelor in Paradise  proposal. However, Jenna has insisted that, though the texts emulate her writing style, she didn’t write them. She has also taken the extra step of  hiring an attorney  in her quest to clear her name. Jenna put her phone through a forensic program  to prove that she has never sent any texts of the sort. (Such a program would capture even deleted text messages) It is probably that forensic analysis to which Lauren is referring. However, there may be more. Jenna’s own attorneys have expressed the belief that Jordan himself may have fabricated the texts. It is possible that this theory, expressed in a private email to him that  Jordan then made public , was intended as a negotiating tactic or a bluff. But it is also possible that Jenna’s attorneys have uncovered further evidence — of Jenna’s innocence or even of Jordan’s alleged guilt.
