Joseph Duggar: SLAMMED for Proposing on Joy-Anna’s Wedding Day!

Joy-Anna Duggar married Austin Forsyth yesterday in, from what we’ve heard so far, was an absolutely lovely ceremony . So lovely, in fact, that her big brother Joseph was moved to propose to his girlfriend , Kendra Caldwell, right then and there. What a beautiful turn of events, right? As they explained in a new interview, “We are super excited. It’s great not to be courting anymore, now we’re engaged!” Kendra said that she is “so happy and so shocked. There’s so many words I want to say, but just shocked.” Joseph added that “I was definitely nervous going into it, but I wasn’t afraid that she wasn’t afraid she was going to say no, because she has said, ‘ I’m just waiting on you! ‘” And what better time to propose than at your little sister’s wedding?! Just think: your whole family is already there, everyone’s already dressed up. There are beautiful decorations just waiting to be taken advantage of, and love is undoubtedly in the air. But, if you can even believe it, there are some people who think it wasn’t right for Joseph to propose on Joy-Anna’s wedding day. There are actually many, many people who share that sentiment. When the Duggars shared the news of the engagement on their official Facebook page, comments flooded in about how rude and disrespectful it is to propose during a wedding. Even though Joseph reportedly received permission from Joy-Anna and Austin before proposing, fans were still bothered. “They could have literally done it any other day,” one person wrote, “eve”n any other hour of the day. They will stop at nothing to stay relevant. Gross.” Another person wrote “That is ridiculously rude. Not just to the bride and groom, but to his fiance as well. She should get a super planned day of her own. I mean a marriage, proposal, and all on grandma’s birthday.” Others commented with things like “Way to take the attention away from the bride and groom” and “Talk about stealing the bride’s moments …” One particularly sad comment read “With 19 siblings, I’m sure deep down inside Joy wanted one day that was all hers. She probably said that her brother could propose at her reception just to be nice.” “Joseph should have known better. I hope someone takes the spotlight off him at his wedding.” So was Joseph in the wrong for using his sister’s special day for his own proposal? Or do you think Joy-Anna and her brand new husband were happy to share the love? Or perhaps you’re just overwhelmed by the amount of Duggars currently courting, marrying, and reproducing . Jenelle Evans Totally Loses It in Front of Her Son: Watch

We've always known that Jenelle Evans is a loose cannon. That she has a couple of screws loose. Basically, name any metaphor for an angry, unstable person, and it probably fits this girl . You'd think that as the years went on and as the babies kept coming, she'd calm down a little bit, right? That she'd manage to mature just enough to be a decent human being. No such luck. These days, Jenelle is less into drugs than she used to be, and she's figured out how to avoid getting arrested, but she's just as hotheaded as ever. And we see that in this alarming sneak peek for the new episode of Teen Mom 2. In the clip, Jenelle is at home with her sons, Jace and Kaiser. Nathan texts her to ask if he can swing by her house to pick up Kaiser — totally normal, but of course David freaks out. But we're not here to talk about David's massive insecurities. We're hear to talk about Jenelle's total inability to communicate in a reasonable way. After texting with Nathan, Jenelle calls her long-suffering mother, Barbara . She tells her that Nathan is coming to pick up Kaiser, but Barbara misheard her. She thinks Jenelle told her to come to her house to pick up Jace. A simple misunderstanding, right? No big deal, right? Fat chance. Maybe to a reasonable person without a track record of blowing things out of proportion. But to Jenelle, it's the biggest deal. As such, Jenelle predictably proceeds to flip out in the most alarming way. She yells at her mother, she ridicules her … it's bad. Beyond bad. Vanessa Grimaldi to Nick Viall: So, You Moving to Canada?

This season, The Bachelor spoilers have been as dead-on correct as ever, but there are still two installments left for a potential shocker. Might one of the final three be ready to throw such a curveball? Canadian beauty Vanessa Grimaldi puts the screws to Nick Viall on next week's episode of The Bachelor , asking him about the future. Nick Viall is used to being put on the spot, but not like this. In the sneak peek at Monday night’s episode below, Viall hedges when the Montreal resident asks if he would consider moving there. You know, IF they decide to further pursue this romance. “ Nick is someone that I can actually picture spending the rest of my life with,” Vanessa, 29, says, but he's also Nick, and it's The Bachelor . Do we even need to explain any further than that? “But at the same time,” the special ed teacher adds, “we have that sort of relationship where our conversations are always so heavy.” “Today I felt like Nick was questioning whether or not he wants to be as close to my family as I am. It’s been upsetting me.” During Grimaldi’s hometown date – Corinne Olympios got cut, leaving Vanessa, Raven Gates and Rachel Lindsay – Nick met her family. That's customary for Bachelor semifinalists, but what's a little unusual is that subject of where they would move after the show came up. It didn’t seem as if the two had discussed their plans post- Bachelor , so Vanessa brought it up during their subsequent fantasy suite date. That idea didn't necessarily go over all that well. “Is there anything that you would feel uncomfortable compromising on?” she ask. “Is moving for you something you don’t see yourself doing?” “I’ve moved a lot,” Viall, 36, responds. Ouch. “I’ve never imagined living in Canada,” he adds. “I’ll be honest, that’s not easy for me to picture.” “I hope that’s not a non-negotiable,” Nick tells Vanessa, leaving the door open. “I think I would do anything for the woman that I love.” “Not to sound corny, but I’m really proud to be an American,” The Bachelor star adds, very much sounding corny in the process. Vanessa's perfect response to that nonsense? “And I’m very proud to be a Canadian.” The plot thickens, eh?! (Sorry.)

Lena Dunham Debuts Boob Tattoo Inspired By Rihanna

There are word combinations you never expect to type, and then there’s “Lena Dunham Debuts Boob Tattoo Inspired By Rihanna.” You might be tempted to decry such a headline as that “fake news” you keep hearing about: A bald-faced attempt to highlight the more ridiculous aspects of Millennial culture in an effort to work the #MAGA crowd into a greater fury than anti-incest laws and every second of this year’s Oscars combined.  But we assure you, this is no alt-right Pepe-ganda (though we are  in the process of developing tastes for Tolstoy and straight Stoli in order to make nice with our future overlords), and the self-proclaimed Voice of Her Generation really did copy RiRi’s underboob ink . Lena posted the pic above today, along with a caption that reads: “Thank you @trinegrimm for my warrior’s chest plate/tit chandelier. This is my first original piece by a female tattoo artist and it felt sacred and cool and she didn’t chide me for copying @badgalriri’s placement. “If you’re ever in Oslo, go meet this metal queen and let her handle your body.” Look, we’re gonna go ahead and play Dunham’s advocate here. For starters, we’re willing to giver her a pass on a lot of things this week, as “American Bitch” might have been Girls’ strongest episode to date, and it actually addressed a topical issue in a unique way. (It might have worked better as a standalone project, but that’s a discussion for another time.) On top of that – we’ve been there. We’ll admit to seeing a celebrity rock a certain look and (perhaps during a tipsy online shopping spree) deciding to give it a shot ourselves. There was a time when Johnny Depp was cool enough to make male fashion scarves cool, and like other tragedies throughout history, we shouldn’t bury it simply because we can’t make sense of it. So Lena saw Rihanna rocking some boob-bunting and figured she’d try to pull it off, too. As long as she doesn’t start taking racy blunt smoke selfies and using the word “pon,” we can chalk this up to loving emulation and not Single White Female-esque imitation. Besides, if this is the worst thing Lena Dunham did this week, then it was really a hell of a week. It’s not like she publicly wished she had an abortion or attempted to convince the world that her cellulite is a global feminist issue . Lena is like Trump: If seven days go by and she doesn’t make us seriously doubt our mental health or wonder if we’re living in the Upside-Down like Barb, we kinda feel like we owe her a thank you letter. We’d like to tell you that we’ll one day write an article about Lena without comparing her to Trump, but the #FakeNews has gone far enough, dammit!

Joy-Anna Duggar: ENGAGED to Austin Forsyth!

Joy-Anna Duggar is engaged to be married! The fifth oldest daughter of Jim Bob and Michelle will be walking down the aisle with Austin Forsyth after a VERY short courtship, she confirms. “We just got engaged!” Joy-Anna, 19, announced. “I’m so excited to be engaged to my best friend.” “Austin made it so romantic, it’s amazing.” Forsyth tells Us that he is looking forward to their engagement , their marriage and all the big relationship milestones that lie ahead. “I’m just overwhelmed with emotion,” he says. “I’m so excited to be engaged because that means the next step is marriage, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for us!” The near future, apparently. We predicted earlier this week that Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth were on the fast track, but this?! Duggar and family friend Forsyth, who have known each other for 15 years, announced on November 15 that they had started courting.  Once Austin got the green light from Jim Bob , which you saw if you watch Counting On online , he was prepared to pop the question. The courtship question, that is. Not the marriage one, which he put off a solid couple of months (no word yet on where he proposed). If his previous romantic gestures are any indication, though … Austin chose a spot in a wooded area to ask Joy-Anna to enter into the courtship – a pre-engagement of sorts, in Duggar family parlance. “It’s a place that I’ve come many times to just get away and spend time with the Lord,” he said at that time about the special location. “I just knew that this was the place that I wanted to ask her.” Asking her dad if he could court Joy, Austin gushed: “Over the years, I’ve been watching, and I really admire her heart for the Lord and her character. She’s such a diligent worker.” “She gets all the younger siblings working. She’s a good delegator,” he said, awkwardly, when asked by Jim Bob why he’s into Joy. “And, of course, her beauty.” Of course . While reports of Austin and Joy having sex are most likely exaggerated, we’re also sure they’re past the side hug stage. Like Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo before them, there’s been talk of this duo breaking the courtship rules and racing to the altar from day one. So when’s the wedding? It’s unclear, but just days ago, Joy-Anna opened up to People magazine about the possibility of saying “I do” in the near future. “I’m not sure when the next step will come,” Joy said. “You would have to ask Austin what he’s thinking and my dad, but I’m excited to see what God has in store for us in the next year.” Clearly she had a handle on her romantic future. Each seems to move faster and faster, either by coincidence or because the notion of long-term side hugs and chaperones is unmoving. As for the two new Duggar courtships we’ve been hearing whispers about – regarding the guys, for a change – still no word on those. Congrats to Joy-Anna!!

Counting On Recap: The Tamest Bachelor Party in Human Civilization

The gender of Jessa and Ben’s second baby was addressed on  Counting On Season 2 Episode 17 , but of course, we didn’t hear about it. Ben and Jessa finally got the news they were looking for, but didn’t share it with fans … however, we can tell you with certainty anyway: Jessa Duggar gave birth to a boy . Yesterday! Watch Counting On Season 2 Episode 17 Online If you  watch Counting On online , you know Jessa and Ben are loving teasing their pregnancy while not actually giving any details away. Case in point? Ben and Jessa decided they were going to keep the gender secret from everyone … well every one of their fans, anyway. Jana and Joy got to find out! Lucky! This was a pretty big show of trust, but on the flip side, what are they going to do, blab about it on non-pre-screened Instagram accounts? In all seriousness, Jessa joked that they want to keep the gender a secret “because we like to torture people,” but really it’s just personal. “Whenever you actually get to see the baby for the first time, it just blows you away,” Jessa said regarding the sonogram appointment. Duggars Try to Predict Jessa’s Baby’s Gender! Watch! They kicked the camera crew out before the tech revealed the gender, but again, Jessa gave birth to a boy before this episode aired. Note to the Duggars: When your claim to reality TV fame is babies and pregnancies, you might want to manage the reveals a bit better. Just some food for thought there. It’s not like you can count on Jeremy Vuolo’s bachelor party for ratings. He and his friends decided to partake in an escape room challenge. Yep. With Jinger Duggar, no less. Putting a group of people in a room with hidden clues to see if they can “escape” before “time runs out” is a fun night, don’t get us wrong. As a bachelor party, though? View Slideshow: 13 Things BANNED in the Duggar Family “As part of personal conviction, my family doesn’t drink alcohol or dance,” Jessa revealed, as if we were somehow new to the Duggars. “We have tons of fun in other ways.” The guys and girls (who split up in teams, because you don’t want couples sneaking off un-chaperoned) were equally bad at the mission. Fortunately, this wasn’t Naked and Afraid (though we would love to see how the Duggars handled those circumstances) so no one died. The guys went golfing later, where Ben shot a 21 in one hole, while the cratfy girls made jewelry to wear during the upcoming ceremony. The excitement never stops. Jill Duggar Pregnancy Announcement In a short segment, Jill and Derick Dillard reminded us that they are also pregnant, and that their second baby would be another boy.  Then it was more of the bachelor party, where Jinger discussed her upcoming first kiss, and her sisters shared their respective memories. Like Jill (but not Jessa), Jinger was prepared to do so in public, and while she worried that it might be a little “awkward,” she was excited. Perhaps that talk of Jinger Duggar breaking courtship rules was overblown. Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth on the other hand … Jessa lamented Jinger’s wedding, not because of courtship rules, bit because she would be packing up and moving to Texas afterward. “That’s going to be really, really tough for me,” Jessa said, and it hard to blame her for being sad, living 12 hours away from her BFF. On a different note, Derick Dillard was the mascot, Pistol Pete, at OSU (they’re the Oklahoma State Cowboys), like his father before him. Taking a trip down memory lane in Stillwater, Ok., he took his mom, Jill and Israel around the campus, showing us all of his old haunts. Later, he donned the Pistol Pete costume one last time and headed out to entertain the fans, and we have to say, Der’s alter ego is fun. For Derick’s mom, it was emotional, remembering her own times there, like carving her initials with her late husband’s into wet pavement. OSU was also where she arrived at Derick’s dorm room unannounced to tell him his father had died of a heart attack when Der was 18. As we saw Israel knocking on the door of Derick’s old dorm room at the end of the night, his mom noted that they had come “full circle.” Indeed, and in a way, it’s a beautiful thing.

Joy-Anna Duggar and Austin Forsyth: Inside the HOT Courtship!

Joy-Anna Duggar, the latest member of her family to enter into a courtship, is already making the most of her time with Austin Forsyth. If you know what we mean!! NOTE : We don’t mean Joy-Anna Duggar breaking courtship rules , actually. She may well be, but that’s not the crux of this new report. “We’ve gotten to experience so much already in our relationship,” Joy-Anna, 19, says in the latest issue of People magazine. Again, we are not talking about rumors that Austin got Joy-Anna Duggar pregnant , which would rival some of Josh’s scandals. Not in terms of being terrible human beings, but in terms of the Internet breakage that would follow if such a true story broke. Their courtship sounds pretty vanilla, to hear her tell it. “Lots of church ministries, road trips, hiking, hunting and remodeling houses together,” Joy-Anna says of her boyfriend of several months. She and Austin Forsyth , who announced their courtship in November, have a unique relationship by Duggar standards, in that they met long ago. More than 15 years ago, as a matter of fact, when his family moved to Arkansas and started attending the Duggars’ church with the family. “It’s really special that I got to grow up with him and my family knows him really well,” says Joy-Anna of her future husband (call it a hunch). Three of her sisters (Jill, Jessa and Jinger) have already been through the courtship process, so she’s getting plenty of advice from them. Every relationship is different, of course, but there are themes. “Watching my sisters go through that with their courtships sets a really good example,” says the Counting On star of navigating this. “I was able to ask them just a lot of questions and wisdom about what they did and didn’t do and then just making it special,” she adds. “Showing him how much I appreciate him, it’s been amazing.” As for if (or let’s be honest, when) she’ll walk down the aisle? “I’m not sure when the next step will come,” she admits. “You would have to ask Austin what he’s thinking and my dad, but I’m excited to see what God has in store for us in the next year.” If you watch Counting On online , you know this isn’t anything new. Jim Bob calls the shots, though there has been resistance of late. Jinger Duggar and Jeremy Vuolo can attest to that. Those two seemed to relish in pushing the envelope with Jim Bob throughout the process; Jessa even threw shade at Jinger  for this. As far as Joy-Anna and Austin are concerned, some sources say they’ve been an item for well over a year, and have been … intimate. “Despite this ‘courting’ nonsense, Joy-Anna and Austin have actually been having sex together for a year,” says a source close to the family.  The Duggars not only forbid premarital sex, obviously, but non-married couples aren’t permitted to engage in  any  kind of physical contact. Seriously. Full-frontal hugs are not allowed in Tontitown. The insider says Joy-Anna and Austin made it clear from the start – not unlike Jinger and Jeremy – that they will be charting their own path. Counting On Season Premiere Recap: The Jinger Gown

On the season premiere of TLC’s Counting On last night, Jinger Duggar’s epic quest to procure the perfect wedding dress was chronicled. And that was no easy feat, let us tell you. After months of hype, Counting On Season 3 Episode 1  introduced viewers to the long list of requirements for Jinger’s wedding dress: A seriously long train , three-quarter or longer sleeves, lace detailing and a modest neckline were just the beginning. This was serious. (Why they were debuting with this storyline when they already aired a Jinger wedding special is news to us, but that’s TLC for you.) The bride-to-be had naturally thought a lot about her bridesmaids, even if she hadn’t told anyone yet. The obvious picks for the job? “Jana, Jill, Jessa, Joy, Anna, Johanna,” Jinger said, adding there would be 10 in total, including childhood friends and Jeremy’s sister. Jessa Duggar was named Jinger’s maid of honor, but also hadn’t been informed before Jinger casually mentioned while dress shopping. Not that she was that surprised, as she’s closest in age to (and basically best friends in the world) with the future Mrs. Jeremy Vuolo. “I guess I kind of figured that would be the case,” Jessa said. But, at the same time, “I didn’t want to expect it.” At the dress store, Jinger could not wait to start trying them on, but the first two did not get it done. It’s a process, remember. Patience. While this was going on, Derick Dillard and Ben Seewald met up with Jeremy Vuolo’s dad to discuss parenting multiple kids at once. This not-at-all-staged conversation came as they were caring for Spurgeon and Israel solo so that the women could focus on shopping. Both Derick and Ben, of course, recently got Jill Duggar pregnant and Jessa Duggar pregnant, respectively, and are expecting a second. Mr. Vuolo said that the guys will be alright, as raising two young ones at the same time isn’t so bad … you can still divide and conquer. Three or more? That’s another story indeed. Once you get to that number of kids, or 19 for that matter, then you basically need another adult (cough, Jana Duggar ) to help you out. Who do you think will have more kids when all is said and done, Jill or Jessa? When you factor in their interest in adoption, it’ll be a lot! Jeremy’s dad also told Ben not to compare one child to another because people are all different and children are all special as individuals. Sound advice all of us could learn from. Back at the bridal salon, Jinger fell in love with a gown that featured a huge 12-foot train, which met her specifications and then some. That’s too much for one person to manage alone, especially for pregnant Jessa, but fortunately, Jinger has plenty of sibling bridesmaids. Later, after their successful shopping excursion, everyone reconvened at the local craft store to paint pictures for Jinger and Jeremy. Wild and crazy times in Tontitown. Turns out Jessa’s not much of a painter, so she used taking care of Izzy and Spurge as an excuse – and a cute one – to get out of painting. Jessa noted that it was “good preparation” to watch the two little ones at once since soon she was going to have two kids of her own. 2 and Counting, you could say. Once you get to that number of kids, or 19 for that matter, then you basically need another adult (cough, Jana Duggar ) to help you out. Who do you think will have more kids when all is said and done, Jill or Jessa? When you factor in their interest in adoption, it’ll be a lot! Jeremy’s dad also told Ben not to compare one child to another because people are all different and children are all special as individuals. Sound advice all of us could learn from. Back at the bridal salon, Jinger fell in love with a gown that featured a huge 12-foot train, which met her specifications and then some. That’s too much for one person to manage alone, especially for pregnant Jessa, but fortunately, Jinger has plenty of sibling bridesmaids. Later, after their successful shopping excursion, everyone reconvened at the local craft store to paint pictures for Jinger and Jeremy. Wild and crazy times in Tontitown. Turns out Jessa’s not much of a painter, so she used taking care of Izzy and Spurge as an excuse – and a cute one – to get out of painting. Austin Forsyth: Does Joy-Anna Duggar’s New Man Know About the Josh Sex Scandals?

Earlier this week, we reported that Joy-Anna Duggar is courting Austin Forsyth . If you’re familiar with the Duggar way of doing things, you know that courting is like dating on steroids. The Duggars describe it as a sort of “pre-engagement” in which new couples spend a chaste, chaperoned few weeks together (virtually all physical contact is forbidden) in order to decide if they should take the next step. Most of the time, the arrangement results in a proposal, as in the cases of Jill, Jessa and Jinger Duggar. On rare occasions, however, one or both parties decide to call the whole thing off, as in the case of Josiah Duggar and Marjorie Jackson . Either way, courting never goes on for very long, so Duggar fans take an intense interest when it’s announced (and it’s always announced) that one of the Duggar kids has entered a courtship. Of course, these days there’s a shadow hanging over all new Duggar relationships in the form of the Josh Duggar sex scandals . It’s been rumored that it was the allegations against Josh – and his family’s attempts to hide his crimes – from authorities that led to the dissolution of Marjorie and Josiah’s relationship. Details are scarce, but it’s widely believed that Marjorie’s family only had vague notions about Josiah’s disgraced older brother and insisted that their daughter end her association with the Duggars upon learning that the family sheltered a child molester for several years. One would think the Duggars would have learned their lesson, but insiders claim they’re repeating the same mistakes with the Forsyth family by attempting to keep Austin and his parents in the dark about Josh’s shameful past. While Austin’s immediate family has kept mum, Radar Online recently spoke with several relatives of Austin’s, all of whom claimed to have no knowledge of the Josh scandals. “I don’t know anything about any of that,” said Austin’s grandfather when asked about Josh’s past. “I don’t know anything,” Austin’s great-grandmother echoed. It’s hard to imagine that anyone who takes even a passing interest in the lives of the Duggars could be unaware of Josh’s sexual misconduct, but the family is part of an isolated community that avoids most forms of media. So while it seems unlikely, it is possible that Austin’s family, and perhaps even Austin himself, are unaware of the shocking controversy that led to the cancelation of 19 Kids and Counting – the show that made the Duggars famous.
