Big news: I’ve officially decided to make Michelle Lewin my new favorite workout hottie, mostly because unlike Julianne Hough and Vanessa Hudgens , we actually get to see Michelle putting those yoga pants of hers to good use, instead of just walking to and from the gym all the time. Case in point, here she is putting on a great show for the paps by doing some deep stretches at the beach. Now that Vanessa Hudgens is back to being my favorite workout hottie again (sorry Julianne Hough ), I was expecting a little more of a show from her than this. I mean, sure, she’s all leggy and sweaty, but wearing a pair of baggy shorts instead of skintight spandex? It’s not enough just to go to yoga five days a week, everyone knows that variety’s the key to keeping up a good workout regimen. They then joked about their breakup on stage. So things are clearly pretty good between the costars, a point driven home even further by producer Kevin Williamson, who helped Dobrev celebrate her 25th birthday yesterday and who posted two photos from the event online. One features Nina getting a kiss from BFF Julianne Hough. And the other makes it clear that Somerhalder is still awfully tight with his ex: Should Dobrev and Somerhalder get back together? The Fifty Shades of Grey movie producers have confirmed that its release has been delayed until 2015 , but have yet to address the biggest remaining casting question: Who should play Kate Kavanagh, Anastasia Steele’s BFF? The much-talked about project’s casting is almost complete. Anastasia (Dakota Johnson) has her Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan), and his big brother Elliott ( Luke Grimes ) is also in the mix. Dear Today Show and Matt Lauer – We know your ratings need a boost. And we know your reputation is in the drain and viewers need to see you as a fun-loving host, not someone who demeans your staffers . But still. No. Just… no. On The Today Show’s Halloween spectacular this morning, Al Roker dressed as Mr. T and Kathie Lee Gifford was Wilma from The Flintstones. But the classic costumes were all a lead-up to Lauer coming out as Pamela Anderson from Baywatch. We wish we were making this up. And we really wish we could un-see this: Anderson, meanwhile, doesn’t even look like this anymore, having just gotten a new pixie cut . And forget Julianne Hough in blackface . Forget Snickers or Mars Bars this Halloween. Tamar Braxton says there’s something aside from candy some folks need to take during this holiday season: a chill pill. The singer appeared on VH1’s The Big Morning Buzz yesterday and was asked about the controversy surrounding Julianne Hough’s Halloween costume . Was Tamar, as an African-American, offended by the dancer donning blackface in order to resemble a character from the show Orange is the New Black? Julianne Hough Blackface Please, Braxton said! Comparing Hough’s appearance to more of a “spray tan” than blackface, Tamar said critics need to calm the heck down. “I think people are on team too much right now, cause it’s Halloween, and you should go dressed as you want to,” she said. “Would you be offended if I wore a conehead and painted myself white? I mean, it’s not like you are trying to be racist or offensive or anything like that.” This is the opposite view from that of Wendy Williams, who called Hough out this week for being ignorant and somehow even brought her Mormonism into it . “You’re drunk by the time you figure out who people are,” Braxton said of Halloween. “It’s not that serious. And what she looks like is definitely not offensive to me. I mean, I wouldn’t think nothing of it.” Hough has apologized profusely for offending anyone and her brother, Derek, said this week that Julianne is “mortified” by the controversy. “She’s my little baby sister and she’s the sweetest thing ever,” said Derek “She is just beyond beside herself.
