Toya filed for divorce July 8, citing an “irretrievable breakdown of the marriage.” She asked that their prenup be enforced, they each keep their assets and neither side receive alimony. Now according to The Jasmine Brand , Toya will have to pay her ex thousands after the release of her new book about their failed marriage. Toya Wright and soon-to-be ex-husband Mickey “Memphitz” Wright have reached a settlement in their divorce, in which they solved all their issues over their assets and property. The reality star is demanding the judge grant the divorce quickly, which would officially end the their 5-year marriage. Here’s the latest: This month, docs were filed in the case explaining Mickey and Toya have reached a settlement in the divorce. The agreement – signed by both parties – states neither husband or wife shall seek or receive alimony from the other now or in the future. Further, neither owns any real property to be divided. Each will retain their own retirement investments and accounts. They both say all joint bank accounts have already been closed and they share no debt together. Each will be responsible for their own debt. In regards to their automobiles and furniture and other personal property, each will keep the property in their possessions and Toya is waiving all rights to furniture and belongings in Mickey’s home currently. Toya agreed to pay $8k to her soon-to-be ex-husband and Mickey will waive all rights to proceeds earned by her from the sale of her book, “How to Lose a Husband” and proceeds from Before Bed Headz, a company she owns. As we reported Memphitz was slammed by fans earlier this summer when footage of him berating Toya aired on “Marriage Bootcamp: Reality Stars,” where the pair made a final attempt to patch things up. The 49ers QB has refused to stand up for the national anthem during some recent pre-season NFL Games. Kaepernick, who’s biracial and was adopted by white parents, said he is “not going to stand up to show pride in a flag for a country that oppresses Black people and people of color.” Kaep said that he didn’t run his actions by anybody prior to sitting out the national anthem. “I am not looking for approval. I have to stand up for people that are oppressed.” According to USA Today his team will not be punishing him for exercising how he feels about AmeriKKKa: Kaepernick is 28. Malcolm X was 28 when he came out of prison with an evolving self-awareness. I’m twice that old but constantly working on self-awareness. And so is this nation, which Kaepernick shone a light on in his own way. There’s nothing in NFL policy mandating that players must stand for the anthem, as much as you know the image-conscious, corporate-backed league stands on the principles of patriotism. The 49ers haven’t admonished Kaepernick, either, recognizing the American principles of self-expression while also pointing out liberties afforded U.S. citizens. Controversy has broken out around the Baltimore Ravens, and not because Ray Lewis was once accused of murder or may have used deer antler spray to recover from a torn triceps. Courtney Lenz, a 23-year old Maryland native, has been a member of the team’s cheerleading squad for five years. But she has been barred from the Super Bowl sidelines because she announced her retirement at the end of the regular season. And with an online petition out there to reinstate her for the big game, Lenz has spoken to ABC News and explained how crushed she is by the development. “I’m just devastated by the whole situation,” she says. “This was very unexpected… I didn’t even think there would be a chance of me not going with being a five-year veteran.” Lenz believes the Ravens are simply punishing her for quitting the team, which she was forced to do once her marketing job schedule made it impossible to do both. “They’ve been really hard on me this year since I told them I was leaving,” Lenz said, adding that she “thought it was a mistake” when her name was not included among the 32 cheerleaders announced for the game. But Ravens spokeswoman Heather Harness simply says in a statement: “As set by the NFL, we are permitted to bring 32 cheerleaders to the Super Bowl. Our selection process was based upon three criteria: seniority, performance ability and personal conduct throughout the season.
