After weeks of rumors, we now know Kailyn Lowry is pregnant with her third child. There’s still word on the identity of Kailyn’s baby daddy (though we know it’s not Jo Rivera or Javi Marroquin, the fathers of her first two kids), but Lowry is no longer hiding the pregnancy from fans. The beloved Teen Mom 2 star took to Snapchat yesterday, and made no effort to conceal her burgeoning baby bump: As you can see, the bump is still in its early stages (no word yet on how far along Kailyn is) but the important thing is that she’s no longer keeping it under wraps. The pics uploaded to Snapchat over the weekend show nothing more intriguing than Kailyn engaged in some light home repairs, but they were quickly screen-captured and shared across other platforms as Lowry’s first visual acknowledgement of her third pregnancy. Kailyn has long had a complicated relationship with Teen Mom 2 fans, and the controversy of the past weeks seems to have encapsulated many of her mixed feelings. Fans were speculating that Kailyn was pregnant well before she was prepared to go public with the news. In fact, when she first commented on the rumors, she issued a firm denial in a statement to Radar Online. When Kailyn did share the news with fans, she seemed to do so reluctantly: “I am pregnant,” she wrote on Instagram last week. She added: “Please know that this was a choice I made. I already know some won’t agree, but I’ve been showered with support by the ones I love since I found out.” So it’s not the glimpse of slight bump that fans are excited about. No, it’s the fact that Kailyn is openly and proudly acknowledging the fact that her family will soon be expanding. It’s been nothing but scandals for Kailyn Lowry lately, huh? We thought things were bad with all the divorce drama, but then she went and dropped that “I’m pregnant” bombshell , and who can even sort all this out? It’s hard to know where to begin with all this, especially with the new statements Kailyn has made. We’ll get to those in a moment, but for now, let’s break down the facts we have so far. Kailyn has said that she’s about halfway through her second trimester, which would make her roughly 20 weeks along. That means she likely conceived last September. The most recent episodes of Teen Mom 2 were filmed around the same time — meaning that right around the time that Kailyn got pregnant, she was having all those nasty fights with Javi . Taking that into consideration, along with all that shade Javi threw out into the universe after Kailyn made the pregnancy announcement, it’s probably safe to say that he’s not the father of this new kid. Also, yesterday Javi tweeted “Lolol no babies for me anytime soon,” so there’s that. But even though Kailyn and Javi haven’t been getting along lately, and even though she’s expecting a baby with someone who in all likelihood isn’t Javi, could she be rethinking that divorce? But, then again, when someone tweeted that Kailyn “left Javi because she didn’t want any more babies and is now knocked up with her third kid by a randomer,” along with that tell-tale frog emoji and tea emoji combo. Sad news for the Bey Hive today, as it seems Beyonce will be forced to bow out of her headlining performance at this year’s Coachella music festival. The news isn’t terribly surprising, as Beyonce is currently pregnant with twins . It’s not clear exactly how far along she is, but based on recent appearances, Bey is in her second trimester, and Coachella 2017 won’t take place until late April. Concert organizers broke the news today in a public statement: “Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyoncé has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival,” the statement said. “However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for understanding.” Cold comfort for fans holding onto tickets for this year’s festival in hopes of seeing Queen Bey become the first female to headline the iconic festival. While it makes sense that a woman who’s six or seven months pregnant might not want to jump around on stage in front of tens of thousands of people, many believe the timing of the announcement indicates an unexpected issue with the pregnancy. After all, the singer could have bailed several weeks ago, and her pregnancy didn’t prevent her from delivering a jaw-dropping performance at the 2017 Grammy Awards . So why now? “In an uncomplicated pregnancy, exercise, dancing, movement is all 100% safe and acceptable and, in fact, encouraged,” ob-gyn Sheela Talebian tells USA Today. “There is no medical reason for not being active unless there are concerns about the pregnancy.” Dr. Talebian adds: Beyoncé should be the poster child for pregnancy — she should be out there doing her thing.” Sounds like there’s no cause for serious concern, but it’s a reminder that despite appearances to the contrary, Mrs. Carter is, in fact, a mere mortal. Concert organizers say they’re currently seeking out a replacement for Bey. Tickets will not be refunded, and there are still several other great artists performing on Beyonce’s scheduled headline days, but if you tell that to the obsessive hiver in your life, they’ll likely hurl the nearest heavy object at your head. Last June, Christina Grimmie was murdered while signing autographs after a concert in Orlando, Florida. She was only 22 years old. The whole thing is tragic any way you look at it — she was so young, she was killed while spending time with her fans, her death was so incredibly violent — but as we’re learning now, there’s one more awful aspect to it. And that aspect is that, according to new legal documents filed by Christina’s family, her death could have very easily been prevented . Christina’s parents filed a wrongful death lawsuit late last year against AEG, an entertainment company and the owners of the Plaza Live Theater, the venue where she was shot. AEG asked the court to dismiss the suit, claiming that Christina’s family had no real reason to blame them for what happened. These new documents are ones that the Grimmie family just filed — documents urging the court not to dismiss the case because AEG is certainly responsible for Christina’s death. As the documents explain, “Christina’s killer, Kevin Loibl, was able to enter The Plaza Live Theater with two 9mm Glock handguns, two full magazines and a large hunting knife.” “He was able to bring these weapons into The Plaza Live Theater notwithstanding the presence of security personnel hired by the Orlando Philharmonic Orchestra, who conducted bag checks at the entrance of the theater, but failed to detect Loibl’s arsenal.” “Although the presence of security personnel demonstrates that Defendants were aware of the possibility of violent actions at the theater, including against Christina and the other performers,” proper measures weren’t taken to ensure their safety. “The security personnel stationed at the entrance of The Plaza Live Theater did not use stationary metal detectors, metal detector wands or body pat downs to ensure that attendees at the scheduled concert did not have firearms or other weapons upon entering the theater.” So that’s all pretty bizarre, right? These days, most venues require a bag check and a light pat down at the very least — many people can’t sneak in cameras or booze, and this guy was able to walk in with two guns? And what’s more, when Loibl shot Christina , security guards weren’t the ones to take him down. Christina’s own brother was the one to tackle him. “After Christina’s performance,” the legal documents explain, “while she was conducting a ‘met and greet’ with fans, Loibl fired three shots into her. His barrage was only stopped by Christina’s older brother and road manager, plaintiff Marcus Grimmie, who wrestled Loibl to the ground, before Loibl broke free and killed himself.” “Marcus sustained a quadriceps tear on this left leg and body bruises as a result of his heroic actions, and lives with the emotional distress resulting from witnessing his sister being shot to death in front of him.” This is important because the lawsuit also mentions Marcus’ emotional distress — which is pretty easy to understand. The documents conclude by stating that “The simple fact is that, had defendants taken reasonable security precautions at The Plaza Live Theater, and prevented Loibl from entering with his arsenal, Christina would be alive today.” It’s so sad that this even has to be an argument — it seems pretty obvious that the man who killed Christina shouldn’t have been able to waltz in a concert with two loaded guns. At this stage in the game, no one thinks of Farrah Abraham as a good mother, right? We’d even go as far as to say that no one thinks of Farrah Abraham as a good person. She’s just unnecessarily rude and mean and hateful and ignorant — all bad things, really. She’s been accused of being racist , of being homophobic, of lying about rape. She’s also a Trump supporter , which says a lot of things about a person, none of them good. But the worst thing about Farrah is her apparent lack of any and all parenting skills. Her daugher, Sophia, is seven years old now, and in all that time, has Farrah made one solid choice in mothering her? Even just one tiny little thing? We sure can’t think of any . But now, Farrah’s reached what looks to be a whole new level of terribleness. She’s letting Sophia abuse animals. Or at least, that’s what many people think of her latest social media posts. Last night, this photo was shared on Sophia’s Instagram account: That’s the miniature horse Farrah gave Sophia for Christmas . The horse’s name is Starburst, and Farrah allowed Sophia and several of her friends to do this to the poor thing at a slumber party. As you can see, Starburst was less of a horse and more of an art project. And that’s not cool. “That poor pony should be classed as animal abuse,” one outraged person wrote in the comments on this photo. “You don’t treat animals like that … someone save the poor unhappy little thing … Farrah you’re an idiot!” another said. “This makes me want to cry!! Wtf is wrong with you?!!” one person commented, and another said that “This is the saddest looking pony I’ve ever seen.” Some Farrah supporters — yes, some people actually find it within themselves to defend Farrah over nonsense like this — tried to argue that this is fine, that the paint was “probably” non-toxic. And hey, Sophia is just a kid, you know? This is no different than dyeing your own hair, or putting a dog in a sweater Except the horse really does look miserable, and it can’t have been comfortable with a gaggle of little girls surrounding it, using it as a coloring book. Kailyn Lowry has put an end to the rumor and confessed to the reality: She is pregnant with her third child. Chatter over the state of Lowry’s womb has run rampant on the Internet for several days now, dating back to last week when Kailyn Tweeted the following cryptic message: “Remember that life’s greatest lessons are usually learned at the worst times and from the worst mistakes.” That could be almost anything, of course. But when it comes to someone who is famous for being a Teen Mom, many followers took it to mean that Kailyn went and got herself knocked up again. A few days later, Lowry really got the rumor mill churning (on purpose or by accident, we may never know), when she Tweeted once more. “I may not have always made the best choices but I will say today I’m happy & my heart is so full,” she wrote at the time. So that brings us to Thursday night and an entry on Kailyn’s official blog, one that serves as both a confirmation and also an emotional plea. “I am pregnant,” Kailyn writes , going on to take issue with those close to her who leaked this news before the reality star was prepared to announce it: “I’m sad that I should have known that people in my life would sell me out before I was ready. Like any normal person, I want it to be a happy time. “I wanted this to be a private time so I could be excited while not getting chased by paparazzi and bothered with crazy headlines.” Kailyn, of course, is in the middle of a VERY ugly battle with ex-husband Javi Marroquin. Last we heard from him, Marroquin was saying he was “absolutely” done with Kailyn, telling Us Weekly that he gets “disgusted” when he looks at her. Lowry is the mother to seven-year-old son Isaac Elliot Rivera (with ex, Jo) and three-year-old son Lincoln Marshall Marroquin (with Javi). This makes it impossible not to wonder: WHO IS HER LATEST BABY DADDY?!? Is it possible that she and Javi had a bit of makeup sex at some point in the past few weeks, despite their public Twitter war? Is it possible Kailyn has a new boyfriend, unbeknownst to the celebrity gossip community? Is is possible the baby daddy is the man with whom she allegedly cheated on Javi ? Is it possible she simply messed up, slept with a mostly random dude and got herself pregnant again? All these options seem possible when it comes to Lowry, but she insists it is not the fourth one listed. “Please know this was a choice I made, I already know some won’t agree but I’ve been showered with support by the ones I love since I found out,” Kailyn wrote as part of her pregnancy reveal. She added: “Why did I wait? I’ve had a lot of health complications leading up to this pregnancy and I was not ready to release such private information on my own just yet being that I am so high risk with this pregnancy. “I didn’t want to announce just to have another miscarriage and suffer through another grief.” That’s certainly fair. Lowry is also well aware that her actions do not back up her words. Those who watch Teen Mom 2 online have heard Lowry say she was finished having children. What’s up with that, Kailyn?!? “I was filmed on the show saying I didn’t want any more kids, but I’m pregnant again,” she has blogged. “I know so many will have comments on this but here’s the thing – I didn’t want to bring another child into a failing marriage. Shortly after I started having complications, the option of having more kids was almost taken away from me. “When I started thinking long and hard, I knew I wanted more. This was the choice I made.” Lowry recently finalized her divorce from Marroquin following four years of marriage. And like I say in my book – with a little bit of hustle and heart, I can and I will survive anything. If we've said it once, we've said it a million times … Poor Javi. Javi Marroquin, save for a few jealous tendencies, has always seemed like great guy — one of the best fathers on all of Teen Mom for sure. And in the latest season of Teen Mom 2, what with his and Kailyn's divorce and all the sadness that entails, it's just been heartbreaking to see him struggle with his new life. And make no mistake, he is definitely struggling. In this sneak peek from next week's episode of the show, Javi is off on a beach trip with his brother and a couple of cousins. As they're kicking back, having some drinks, they ask the U.S. Air Force member about Kailyn. And that was the wrong thing to do. Javi explains that he's been sad on the trip because he and Kailyn used to take the kids to the same beach. And then he starts crying. For real. He says “I'm sad because I don't have my family anymore,” and that “it just sucks” to go home to an empty house, with new things and no one there. As for Kailyn and whatever mysterious thing brought on the divorce , his brother tells him: “We all saw it coming, but we didn't say sh-t because it wasn't our place.” But that's of little comfort to Javi, who continues crying.
