Kris has no reason to believe that Kim was unfaithful to him during their very short marriage. “Of particular interest to Team Humphries is Kanye’s involvement in the Kardashian reality shows as he appeared on an episode of Kourtney & Kim Take New York. Kris lawyers will delve into if Kanye’s appearance on the show, and what his involvement in the shows are going forward. “Kris believes that Kim felt tremendous pressure to get married to him on camera, and this goes to the heart of his claim that the marriage is fraudulent,” the source added. Kim and Kris’ upcoming depositions won’t be filmed. The reality starlet’s deposition will take place in Los Angeles at her lawyer’s office, while Humphries’ will be conducted in Minnesota, and both are scheduled to take place in the next several weeks. “Both parties mutually agreed that it wasn’t necessary to have Kim and Kris’ deposition filmed,” the source previously told us. “There will be a private stenographer present that will provide a transcript of the proceedings. There was concern about the depositions being filmed and then getting leaked to the media. To ensure that won’t happen everyone recognized and agreed to not have proceedings filmed. “However, Kris’ lawyer, Lee Hutton has told Laura Wasser (Kim’s attorney) that they ABSOLUTELY intend to ask that cameras be permitted in the courtroom when this divorce goes to trial.” This is getting messy. ‘My wife has been my rock,’ Against Me! frontwoman says, but adds her new life ‘has completely ended’ her relationship with her father. By James Montgomery Laura Jane Grace Photo: Last month, Laura Jane Grace very publically came out as transgender in a Rolling Stone feature, bringing to close 31 years of living with a carefully guarded secret and effectively beginning a brand-new life. Of course, things weren’t quite as simple as that: Laura’s revelation only came after an intense year-long period of self-evaluation and open, often painful honesty. And when she and her Against Me! mates sat down with MTV News for their first on-camera interview since the Rolling Stone story broke, they spoke at length about just how she came out to the band . But that’s only part of the story. Because before Laura shared the news with her friends, she had to come out to her family, including her wife, Heather. And, as is often the case with life-altering events like this, there’s been some collateral damage along the way — including the unwanted attention Laura’s transgender life has brought on Heather and their daughter, Evelyn. “I mean, my daughter is my biggest worry of it all. Heather, my wife, has been my rock; she’s shown me support and love beyond my wildest expectations. On this tour in particular, it’s our first family tour, and she has, from the get-go, made sure people realize it’s Laura, to use the correct pronouns, and has been my biggest advocate and supporter. And whenever I’m feeling like I need any kind of strength, I look to her for that,” Laura told MTV News. “For my daughter, I’m hoping it doesn’t affect her in any negative way, as far as kids can be cruel to each other, once she starts school. It’s already weird enough when your dad is in a band, explaining that to other kids, but when your dad is transsexual as well … I just hope people are kind to my daughter.” In the Rolling Stone piece, Laura also expressed doubts over just how Heather’s parents would handle the news — they’re described as “somewhat conservative” — though, as she revealed, she’s been overjoyed by the support they’ve shown her. “I saw them actually, for the first time [since the RS story published] when we played in Chicago,” she said. “I woke up on the bus and they were all in the front lounge, and I came out wearing last night’s makeup, my hair was all disheveled, and it was like, ‘OK, here’s everybody! Good morning!’ But they all couldn’t have been more supportive and couldn’t be cooler about the whole thing.” Sadly, the same can’t be said for Laura’s father, a retired Army major with whom she’s never truly been close. At the conclusion of the RS story, Laura said she still hadn’t told her father she was transgender — though obviously, since the news came out, he’s aware, and he’s had a difficult time coming to terms with her new life. Though, tellingly, Laura isn’t letting that stop her on her new path. If anything, it’s inspired her to continue — if not for her sake, then for her daughter’s. “It has completely ended my relationship with my father. It is what it is,” she said. “For me, there were so many things leading up to this decision to come out to this publicly. Having my daughter, like, I had never had that close of a relationship with my father, and when I had my daughter, my father tried to become more a part of my life, because he obviously wanted to have a relationship with his granddaughter. And as I saw that develop, and as we became closer, because of that it was something that started to tear me up inside. “It was like, ‘OK, here we are, I’m building this relationship and setting this example for my daughter, and what are the ramifications of that if this person doesn’t even accept their son? And then they’re going to develop a relationship with my daughter; what kind of example is that setting to them?’ ” she continued. “I wanted this in so many ways to be a line in the sand with people, as far as ‘This is me. Kim is now opening out about her blossoming relationship to Oprah Winfrey in the second part of her Kardashian family interview on “Oprah’s Next Chapter.” In an excerpt from the upcoming episode, the talk-show host asks Kim if her relationship with Kanye is her new fairytale, a question that immediately makes her blush. “We met maybe almost a decade ago, I’ve known him for a really long time, we’ve been friends for like six or seven years, so it’s very comforting to have someone that knows everything about you that respects you, understands, has gone through similar things,” Kim said. “I can really relate to his mother passing, he can really relate to my father passing. It looks like last night’s wild fight between Chris Brown and Drake was, in fact, about the former’s ex and the latter’s rumored hookup, Rihanna. Imagine that. Sources also indicate that while Drake’s telling the truth when he says he wasn’t involved physically in the epic melee that ensued, he definitely stirred the pot. Drake gave Brown the middle finger, engaged in some serious trash talk, and recruited several other rappers to join his posse before the brawl, witnesses say. Tension started escalating, supposedly, when Drake gave the middle finger to one of Chris’ bodyguards and shouted, “I’m about to go whoop that ass!” Chris’ entourage responded with a few hand gestures of their own. Witnesses very close to the action say Drake felt disrespected … even though he started the exchange. At that point the rapper went to get backup. His boys Juelz Santana, Trav B and Meek Mill – the one who sources say hit Brown with a bottle and gashed his chin – then stepped into the beef. At this point, the latest report says that Drake got loud and shouted at Chris something to the effect of “You be on that ho s**t on Twitter n***a!”
So it’s come down to this for Oprah Winfrey: In a shallow, transparent attempt yet to save her dying network, the talk show queen has posted a message on her Facebook page that makes her upcoming interview with Kim Kardashian and kompany sound like the event of the century. “I had the longest interviewing session I can ever recall, talking to ALLLLLLLL the Kardashians,” Oprah wrote . “I had never met them, nor seen the show. I did a full on Kardashian Kram in preparation, watching major shows from every season. “I genuinely wanted to know why they have become a cultural phenomenon? Why do so many people love to watch their every move and why do so many others love to hate them. Are they completely ego centered? Are they really “famous for being famous” or is there something more?” And what did Winfrey discover?
