Earlier today, Bruno Schiavi – the co-creator of the Kardashian Kollection Swimwear line; i.e. the man who actually did all the work while Kim, Khloe and Kourtney stood on various red carpets around the country – posted a photo to Facebook of these stars in designers bathing suits, adding the caption: ”First look at our new Kardashian Kollection Swimwear campaign! The girls look incredible!!!!!” The beach and pool attire will be available at Sears for anyone who, for reasons that defy comprehension, wish to resemble one of the Kardashians. It’s really not a good week to be a Kardashian. A few days after Kim Kardashian got flour bombed during one of her weekly red carpet appearances, brother Rob Kardashian actually got handcuffs and detained by a Miami police officer – and all due to a joke gone terribly wrong. Rob Kardashian Detained by Miami Police As reported by TMZ, Ron was chilling with friends when he noticed a member of the paparazzi taking photos of the group from across the street. He thought it would be hilarious to act like he was chasing the photographer… only for the photographer to actually run away screaming into a smoke shop. A cop saw the incident go down, handcuffed Kardashian and threw him into the back of a police car. But after interviewing all parties and realizing it was just a misunderstanding, authorities let Rob go. Now we’ll get to hear about this huge injustice all week long on various Kardashian blogs, Facebook pages and Twitter feeds. Great.
Upon dousing Kim Kardashian with flour last night, a woman reportedly referred to the reality star as a “Fur Hag!” Does this mean PETA, who has called out the ex-sex tape star in the past for her fur coat affections, orchestrated the attack? No, the organization insists. But that doesn’t mean it’s sad the incident took place. Kim Kardashian: Flour Bombed! “It was not [us],” a rep for PETA tells TMZ, adding: “PETA has tried everything from polite letters to public protests, but Kim Kardashian has not been moved by the news that animals are beaten, electrocuted, and even skinned alive for real fur garments. Whoever threw that flour may reach her when our polite appeals did not.” And, hey, if flour is unsuccessful, no doubt a message from Courtney Stodden will do the trick.
People bitch at me all the time for saying this, but I think Kim Kardashian is really hot. I’m not afraid to admit it. They say that she’s phony and plastic and all sorts of garbage like that, I think they underestimate just how much of a superficial man I am, because those are things that I look for in a woman. The small-screen reality siren has fired back at Don Draper himself, Jon Hamm, after comments he made about her in an interview. The “Friends With Kids” actor recently opened up about the Kardashian sister and her predecessor, Paris Hilton, in an interview with Elle UK , according to UsMagazine.com. . Noting that their success “doesn’t make any sense,” he continued, “Whether it’s Paris Hilton or Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a f—ing idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture because you’re rewarded significantly.” Well, Kardashian isn’t taking the jab in stride. On Monday, she took to Twitter to address his criticism. “I respect Jon and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that not everyone takes the same path in life,” she wrote. “We’re all working hard and we all have to respect one another. Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, ‘stupid,’ is in my opinion careless.” For her part, Hilton has not addressed his comments, but instead has been busy tweeting about the new art studio she just built in her house. This is not the first time that Kardashian has been criticized by a Hollywood A-lister who seemed perplexed by her rise to fame. In December, Daniel Craig expressed sentiments similar to Hamm’s. “Look at the Kardashians, they’re worth millions,” he said. “I don’t think they were that badly off [financially] to begin with but now look at them. You see that and you think, ‘What, you mean all I have to do is behave like a f—ing idiot on television and then you’ll pay me millions?’ “I’m not judging it — well, I am, obviously,” he said. “I think there’s a lot to be said for keeping your own counsel. … It’s not about being afraid to be public with your emotions or about who you are and what you stand for.
