In celebration of Demi Lovato’s birthday last week, we listed all the reasons why we adore the singer . Now, according to a new report, Luke Rockhold could come up with his own similar rundown. Why? Because the professional fighter is allegedly getting it on with the beloved singer! Rockhold is somewhat of a legend in the world of Mixed Martial Arts. He’s a former UFC Middleweight Champion, who won that belt in December by taking down then-undefeated champion Chris Weidman via a technical knockout. An avid skateboarder and surfer, Rockhold is ranked the as the number-one middleweight and number-three official pound-for-pound fighter by the UFC and other publications, such as Fight Matrix and Sherdog. The guy can seriously mixed it up in the ring. What about in the bedroom? TMZ claims Lovato would know because the two have actually been dating under the radar for several weeks now. The 24-year-old singer supposedly met the 31-year-old fighter earlier this year while training at Unbreakable gym in Los Angeles. Demi had previously been linked with another MMA brawler, Guilherme Vasconcelos, who sources claimed in mid-July she also met at this same gym. This means Lovato has either been very busy or the initial report was mistaken. We’re guessing it should have listed Rockhold as her new man at the time. Just how serious is this new relationship? Remember when Lovato showed off what appeared to be a new tattoo on her pinky finger this month? A simple, cute little smiley face? She flashed a photo of it on Instagram, but we’ve now discovered that she did so in response to Rockhold. See what we mean here: Pretty adorable, huh? Asked by The Calgary Herald about making the transition from Disney darling to worldwide celebrity, Lovato said: “For me, the transition was a little bit easier because I didn’t have to do anything to break out of the Disney mold. It’s a lot easier when you just go to rehab. “So, I kind of grew up really fast in the public eye in that way and so when it was time to release my music, I think people looked at me differently. “I wanted to prove to people that I wasn’t just a stereotypical Hollywood starlet that goes to rehab and falls back into the trap of the things that got her there. “I wanted to make sure that the music that I made was great and that I was passionate about the music that I put out and I sang my heart out.”
Jon Gosselin remains a douchebag. But he’s now a shocked and very angry douchebag. The former reality star, who America had been more than happy to forget all about for many years there, has been back in the news over the past several days or so. For all the wrong reasons. It started with the world finding out how Gosselin works part-time as a cook at a Fridays and as a DJ in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania. After we dealt with that troubling information, Gosselin opened up in an interview with Entertainment Tonight. He said at the time that he really doesn’t see his eight children much at all; in fact, he hadn’t hung out little Collin in two years! “Everybody used to come to my house,” Jon said of his eight children; twins Maddie, Cara, and sextuplets Alexis, Hanna, Leah, Joel, Aaden and Collin. Then what happened? “Madelyn and Cara just stopped coming, around 12-13 [years old]. I didn’t question it. And they’ve called serious BS on that allegation. “He should maybe spend some time thinking about why we don’t want to see him, and maybe realize that if he ever does want a relationship with us, talking about us on TV is not the way to make that happen,” Mady told People Magazine this week. She then made it pretty clear just how pissed off she is at her dad. “He doesn’t even know us,” she said. “How can he dare to talk about us?” Cara let her sister do most of the talking in the interview, but her one sentence about Jon Gosselin almost said it all: “I wouldn’t even know what to say about him,” she uttered. View Slideshow: 23 Biggest Douchebags on Reality TV In this same interview with People, Kate Gosselin said she enrolled son Collin in a program away from home to help cope with his “special needs.” The 41-year old explained: “[There’s] a fairly fluid diagnosis of what those needs are, but he needs to learn certain strategies to help him deal with things. “This has been a struggle we’ve had for a very long time, and it’s one I’ve dealt with on my own.” That, of course, was a not-so-subtle shot at her ex-husband. We don’t want to take sides here, especially not with Kate Gosselin… but what sort of father doesn’t see any child for two years? Let alone a child with special needs?!? “I’ve felt very alone in this,” Kate said of her struggle to raise Collin and his seven siblings. “By the same token, it’s not something that has only impacted me or him – our entire family has been impacted.” Mady and Cara have made that clear. Do we approve of Kate once again sitting with her kids and discussing their family with a national publication? Of course not. But we approve of that more than Jon Gosselin simply not playing a role in his children’s lives. Earlier today, the world learned that Kate Gosselin has been dumped by Jeff Prescott after nine months of dating. Pretty much no one likes Kate at this point, so there were plenty of people who were happy to hear that the world’s worst mom was no longer dating a millionaire, and may have been dumped for a 26-year-old blonde. But we’re guessing no one was as thrilled by the news as Jon Gosselin. When a friend posted an article about Kate’s breakup to Jon’s Facebook page, the 38-year-old father of eight responded with an Emoji worth a thousand words: Jon’s hallelujah hands instantly began racking up “likes.” Jon and Kate have basically been at war since their divorce six years ago, but the feud between the exes has been particularly brutal lately, as a result of their custody battle over daughter Hannah . The matter is still being decided by a judge, so it’s not surprising that Jon kept his gloating to a minimum and chose not to speak ill of Kate. While Jon has gone through a number of girlfriends in the years since the couple parted ways (He’s currently dating Colleen Conrad .), this was Kate’s first major post-divorce relationship. At least it’s the first that she’s admitted to. There have been rumors of Kate dating Steve Neild , but both parties have denied that they’re romantically linked. Earlier this week, documents from a 2010 custody hearing detailed the child abuse allegations against Kate Gosselin . Now, more leaks from the same hearing reveal that Kate has so little faith in Jon Gosselin’s parenting abilities that she would rather leave her six youngest children under the care of a teenage babysitter for a week than with their father. “Recently, Mother traveled with the two older children for six days and left the six younger in the care of a 19-year-old babysitter,” claimed attorneys for Jon. “Father was available, however, Mother refused to allow children to stay with Father and/or allow Father to stay in her home with her children.” To make matters worse, Kate reportedly instructed the sitter to forbid the kids from having any contact with Jon: “Mother has also instructed her babysitters that they are not to contact Father and/or accept phone calls from Father.” This latest information comes on the heels of Kate being investigated by child services for her allegedly abusive and neglectful parenting. As we’ve previously reported, Kate has instructed her nannies to spy on her ex and listen in on phone calls between Jon and her kids. There’s no word on if the anonymous 19-year-old received such instructions. Just earlier today new allegations surfaced regarding Kate’s alleged abuse of her son Collin . All of this is unlikely to result in any charges against Kate or any changes in her custody arrangement. It’s just further proof that Kate is a really, really bad mom. There have been plenty of Kate Gosselin child abuse allegations over the years. Sources ranging from tabloid reporters to members of Kate’s inner circle have accused the reality star of beating and neglecting her children. Perhaps most scandalously, Kate was investigated by child services for mistreating her 10-year-old son, Collin, over a period of years. The investigators looked into this, but did not find sufficient evidence of abuse to remove Collin or any of Kate’s children from her home, even temporarily. Apparently that was not the first time that concerned parties tried to determine if Kate was an unfit mother, though. Court documents from 2010, which leaked today, show that Kate’s ex, Jon Gosselin, desperately tried to convince a judge that Kate should not be permitted to raise children. The documents detail an incident that occurred on Octover 19, 2010, in which Jon claims that he found physical evidence of abuse, including a “large red welt” on daughter Leah’s backside that he discovered while bathing her. “[Leah] later explained that it was from Mother after Leah bit Hannah,” the document explains. Speaking out in the wake of Gosselin’s TLC special, Kate Plus 8: Sextuplets Turn 10 , Hoffman reveals there are shocking new allegations in the book. Asked why he decided to re-release the book that he had pulled from Amazon amid his legal battle with Kate, he said, “ I don’t like bullies . I don’t think anyone does.” “I don’t think anyone wants to live in a country where the people who can afford the best lawyers should get to automatically control the narrative, whatever that may be.” “I believe people have a right to hear all sides of a story. Not just the side that the people with the most money want to shove down their throats.” “People are smart enough to make their own decisions based on the facts.
