Prince William has already copped to pre-wedding jitters. With an estimated two billion TV viewers watching your nuptials, we can see why. Yesterday, during their final public appearance before the big day, Wills’ bride-to-be Kate Middleton revealed that she, too, has the butterflies . Asked by a woman in Blackburn, England, if she was nervous about walking into Westminster Abbey April 29, she said, “Yes, of course I am!” ROYALLY CUTE: This isn’t to say Kate’s experiencing cold feet. Just that … well, it’s a Royal Wedding. Who wouldn’t be a little overwhelmed at the thought? They were wished luck at every turn. One couple, Margaret and Alwyn Davis, sent Kate “all the best.” Her reply: “Yes, I can’t believe it’s coming so soon now.” The occasion also marked the first donation by the grant-giving charitable foundation established by Prince William and his brother Prince Harry. William and Kate handed over a “six-figure sum” to the Queen Elizabeth II Fields Challenge, which aims to enhance and protect playing fields in Britain. [Photo: WENN.com]

Kate Middleton will marry Prince William in a couple of weeks, and the new cover of Newsweek captures her in a candid moment befitting of a princess. Instead of a standard portrait, the photo shows Kate in a moment. Her natural beauty doesn’t hurt, but it’s a captivating image of the bride-to-be. Also interesting is the subheading under “Kate the Great” … In previous articles posted on Kate Middleton and Prince William, we’ve received more than a few comments deriding the fascination with the royal nuptials. Why, critics ask, do people care so much about a WEDDING with all the serious issues going on in the world? Maybe it’s partly because of all those problems. In a world gone mad, the union of Catherine Elizabeth Middleton and William Arthur Philip Louis Windsor, a prince of the royal blood, offer a nice respite. Not just an escape, but a reminder that through thick and thin, there are still those events, those joyous moments we can all embrace and relate to.

Kate Middleton Quits Her Job

Kate Middleton has joined the ranks of the world’s unemployed. But don’t feel too sorry for the princess-to-be. She likely won’t be on the streets any time soon. With just over three months until she gets hitched to Prince William, Middleton has left her job as project manager for her family’s party planning company to “concentrate full-time on preparing to become a member of the royal family,” according to an aide. For years, Middleton had worked as a website designer and photographer for Party Pieces, her parents’ company. She also helped coordinate events, a skill that ought to come in handy this spring. We somehow doubt anything Kate helped organize was the size of her April wedding, however. Over one billion people are expect to witness the event.

Kate Middleton Wedding Outfit: Did She Boob?

Last month, a tabloid pretended that Kate Middleton was in crisis , mostly due to a few leaked photos that depicted her family in an embarrassing situation. But this story is very real, and very troubling: the princess-to-be was spotted at a wedding in Boroughbridge, donning an ensemble that many in the British press considered too revealing. Based on the sheer top above, British newspaper News of the World wondered if William’s fiancee went bra-lass, headlining a front-page article with: “Did Kate Boob?” It’s a pressing question, one answered by Royal Watcher Katie Nicholl, who told Us Weekly : “Kate doesn’t have a stylist, so she is making her own fashion decisions at the moment. The outfit could be considered racy, but it was also beautiful and elegant.” Do you agree? Or did Middleton cross a line?

Speaking to Extra , Cowell offered up an idea for who should sing at the royal nuptials between Prince William and Kate Middleton . “Susan Boyle would be perfect,” said the former American Idol panelist, adding that Boyle’s “I Dreamed a Dream” would be the ideal wedding song for the pair. As the world knows by now, William and Kate got engaged last month and have scheduled their exchanging of vows to take place at Westminster Abbey on April 29, 2011. While most questions about the upcoming Kate Middleton/Prince William wedding remain unanswered , one thing is for certain: People around the world think this future Queen has quite the fashionable eye. The Issa London dress (below) Middleton wore for her first public appearance with William since the two got engaged sold out in stores within 24 hours. British retailer Harvey Nichols confirmed today to Vogue UK that the outfit is out of stock at its London boutique. “Since the announcement of the royal engagement, we have been inundated with requests regarding Issa,” the store’s buying director, Averyl Oates, said of the Sapphire dress, which costs $616. Kate Middleton and Prince William will get married in 2011, and billions of people will watch the ceremony on television. That’s about all we can verify when it comes to the future of this newly-engaged couple . In a statement today, the Royal family simply said: “Prince William and Miss Middleton have spent the morning in meetings with Household staff about the wedding. An announcement about venue and date will be made in due course after other Members of the Royal Family, Mr. and Mrs. Middleton and the Government have been consulted.” Among other wedding rumors/tidbits, we can report: July 29 is a strong possibility as a wedding date because it would mark the 30th anniversary of Princess Diana’s marriage to Prince Charles.
