You know the saying…once you go “half-black” … In Indianapolis to perform at Saturday’s DirecTV pre-Super Bowl XLVI party, the newly single star, 27, made a pitstop at the Associated Press NFL Awards to present a trophy, and couldn’t help but mingle with some of the hot athletes in attendance. Giving the rookie of the year trophy to Cam Newton, Perry, flirted with the 22-year-old recipient in front of a packed house. “You’ll be the first straight man I’ve had a photo with in a long time, so live up to it,” Perry told the Carolina Panthers player. Katy Perry has booked her first U.S. performances since breaking up with Russell Brand late last year. It looks like she’s got a busy week ahead of her, too. The 27-year-old hits the stage at a private pre-Super Bowl party in Indianapolis Saturday, then will do double duty on Grammy weekend in Los Angeles. On February 10, she’ll be among the headliners honoring Paul McCartney at the MusiCares benefit. Then it’s on to the 2012 Grammy Awards February 12! Perry is a nominee for Record of the Year and Best Female Pop Solo Performance, and has enjoyed a record-setting year, making the Grammys a fitting return spot. Katy has performed abroad as a single woman, just not in the U.S. In her first show since Russell Brand filed for divorce , Perry planted a kiss on a lucky fan’s cheek. A pic of Perry smooching the surprised, shirtless male onstage caused quite a stir on the Internet. Katy set the record straight on Twitter afterward, though: “I have *kissed* 1 boy, picked randomly out of the audience, on the cheek as part of my show for all 125 tour dates,” she tweeted. “Simmer down now.” LOL. More information is leaking out regarding the hospitalization of Demi Moore last night. According to TMZ sources, a friend of the actress’ called 911 because Moore fell into a semi-conscious state due to nitrous oxide inhalation. She was, oddly enough, apparently taking part in what’s known as “whip-its,” the name teenagers have given to this cheap, easy process of getting high. Where is Moore at the moment? Under doctor’s care at a Los Angeles hospital, and Radar Online claims to know why. That site reports that while the star may have been taken away in an ambulance due to the abuse of a substance, the real issue at hand here applies to her dramatic weight loss (depicted in the photos above). “Demi is in getting treated for anorexia, as well as other issues that caused her seizure,” an insider says . “She has not taken care of her health at all lately and has lost a ton of weight.” Regardless of whatever else is going on with Moore, that much is undeniable. Katy Perry is cutting ties with Russell Brand in EVERY WAY. The 27-year-old pop singer has unfollowed her soon-to-be ex-husband on Twitter. As of Friday afternoon (a slow news Friday afternoon) Perry no longer follows Brad. She is still one of the 78 people Brand subscribes to however. It’s not surprising, given that Perry is only communicating with Brand, 36, via phone or email. “She’s limiting those interactions,” a source says of the couple. “He’s being so atrocious, she feels like she never really knew him.” Perry has been keeping Brand off her mind by focusing on her career: she performed in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Thursday, and she recently shot an Adidas ad. “She doesn’t want to look battered and have people for sorry for her,” a source says . “She’s very strong and confident and looking forward to the next chapter.” She’s the most cheat-worthy star on the planet according to married guys, if she ever needs a little confidence boost. After being served divorce papers, Katy Perry is turning to her BFF Rihanna for support and the two are planning a getaway to Mexico. Heartbroken Katy has been confiding in pal Rihanna, 23, since Russell filed for divorce after just 14 months of marriage. The two singers have cleared their schedules to go away this month. A source said: “Rihanna has been there for Katy, texting her from Miami where she’s on holiday. Now they are planning a girlie getaway so Katy can clear her head.” Russell, 36, is said to have split from Katy over claims she did not want to have children.
