Now, a drumbeat of rumors about marital woes has grown only louder in the United States and the U.K. amid reports the couple spent the holidays apart. Their usually active Twitter pages have been silent on the issue, and their reps have not commented. Perry, 27, and Brand, 36 , who were wed in October 2010 in India, laughed off reports of problems earlier this month, with Brand telling Ellen DeGeneres, “I am really happily married.” Yeah. Wait, HE’S suing?!?! The ex-McDonald’s cook cleared after whacking two unruly female customers with a metal pole makes no apologies for the wild confrontation — and plans to sue the fast-food giant. Rayon McIntosh, 31, who served 11 years in prison for manslaughter, says he feared for his life when the two menacing women lunged over the counter of the West Village eatery on Oct. 13. “My life was in danger,” McIntosh told the Daily News. “Females do murder men. . . . I displayed a lot of patience. I was in fear for my life.” Cell phone video of the ugly smackdown at the W. Third St. franchise shows McIntosh striking the women with a 3-foot steel pole, fracturing one woman’s skull. McIntosh was arrested on felony assault charges and tossed in a Rikers Island jail for seven weeks. A Manhattan grand jury refused to indict him, forcing prosecutors to drop the charges and release him Friday night. “I just feel elated. I wasn’t out there looking for trouble,” McIntosh said in the interview at his girlfriend’s Queens apartment. McIntosh says he plans on making it rain after he gets this gwap from the red-wigged clown for endangering his life… He said he blames McDonald’s for putting him in the perilous position, explaining that staffers had warned the franchise owner of fights, drunken customers and even guns inside the eatery.
