What happens when three of the hottest fake vampires on the planet walk the same red carpet together? No blood is shed, but every head in the room turns, that’s for sure. Such was the case last night, as Kellan Lutz, Stephen Moyer and Paul Wesley were all honored by Cosmopolitan Magazine as Fun Fearless Males. They attended a party at the Mandarin Oriental hotel in NYC and posed for photographers there: Moyer, of course, is a key part of the True Blood cast , playing Bill Compton. Lutz, meanwhile, stars in the Twilight Saga as Emmit Cullen; while Wesley makes viewers of The Vampire Diaries drool in his role as Stefan Salvatore. Also present at the event? Gerard Butler, Terrell Owens, Ed Westwick and Chris O’Donnell. But they don’t hold a fang to these hotties. Check out more pics of Kellan, Stephen and Paul below:

Twilight hunk Kellan Lutz shows off his softer side in a new advert for PETA’s animal adoption campaign. In the ad, the movie vampire is cuddling up to rescue dog Kola, who he found in an animal shelter, for the animal charity’s current Adopt, Don’t Buy campaign. “There are countless numbers of animals out there. It’s our job to take them under our wing.” According to PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals), about eight million unwanted dogs and cats enter shelters every year. Sadly, half of them have to be put down because there is not enough space to house them. With all the Twilight fans out, they can definitely make an impact by making the right choice and help all these sheltered animals.

The actor stars in a new PETA campaign. Unfortunately, he isn’t naked, like so many other animal-loving celebrities have been when appearing in ads for this organization. But Lutz still has an important message to send, as the poster below reads: “Buying Animals Is Killing Animals. Save a Homeless Dog or Cat – Always Adopt and Never Buy.” Said the actor: “There are surprisingly so many animals in these animal shelters. It’s sad, and knowing that they get euthanized… and there’s a lot you can do… spay or neuter your pets so that doesn’t happen.” Seriously, Kellan. You already have a hard body. Must you match it with a soft heart? Leave some girls for the rest of us, will ya?
