Kelly Rowland Campaigns To Play Donna Summer In New Film Kelly Rowland is sending subliminals about her desire to hop in front of Spike Lee’s lens as disco diva Donna Summer in an upcoming flick. One thing at a time, Kelly! Focus on dropping that baby first… Via PageSix : Kelly Rowland is campaigning to play Donna Summer in an upcoming movie. Spike Lee is reportedly directing “Spinning Gold,” a biopic of Casablanca Records founder Neil Bogart, who helped launch KISS, Joan Jett, the Village People and disco diva Summer. Justin Timberlake has signed on to play Bogart. Rowland posted an Instagram photo of herself wearing a long, curly wig reminiscent of Summer’s signature look, with the hashtags #tbt #DonnaSummer-ish #LovetoLoveYa. The resemblance is definitely there! We haven’t seen much acting from Kelly though…do you think she can swing it?

Kelly Clarkson has finally popped. The singing sensation gave birth to a baby girl this past Thursday, her first child with husband Brandon Blackstock. “Our baby girl River Rose Blackstock arrived on June 12th! Thank you everyone for all of your well wishes! Brandon and I are on cloud 9!! :),” she Tweeted. This is the first baby for the 32-year-old Kelly, who shared the news this morning. Brandon has two kids, Savannah and Seth, from his first marriage. Kelly and Brandon tied the knot in Tennessee last October. Clarkson has been very candid about her pregnancy, revealing she was having a baby girl before giving birth and talking openly about her weight. “Everybody calls me fat all the time, so I can’t wait to have a reason, instead of everybody just being a jerk,” Kelly joked after announcing her pregnancy. As for shedding the baby weight starting this week? “I’ve never been Gisele Bundchen, so ain’t nobody expectin’ that! I like to set [low] standards so people don’t expect a lot,” the star cracked. Then there was this tweet earlier this month: “Okay my baby girl needs to come on out ASAP. Mama is tired, swollen and miserable hahaha!” She rules. Congrats to the happy new parents! Jesse Cottle and his wife Kelly recently posted what they believed to be an everyday photo of themselves to Facebook: The San Diego residents were posing with family members for some beach-based pictures when Cottle took off off his prosthetic legs and jumped on Kelly’s back so she could carry him in to the water. Jesse, a former Marine, lost both his legs after stepping on an IED in Afghanistan in 2009 and this is a simply how he has to move around sometimes. He and Kelly met while he was recovering and they got married last year. And they thought little of the above image when putting it online… only to watch the hits and comments continue to climb on an hourly basis. “Everything just kept skyrocketing,” Jesse told 10 News of the social media reaction. “And we were just astounded.” Kelly often carries her husband on the beach because the sand causes problems for his prosthetics. “It doesn’t matter how heavy he is,” she said. “It just makes me thankful, more than anything, that I am able to share these moments with Jesse and that he is still here.” Jesse and Kelly shared their story last week on Good Morning America, leading to an even bigger fan base and, Jesse hopes, a lesson that many other men can take with them. “We both believe that the husband – he’s the man – he’s the head of the household, but it’s also perfectly okay for the ladies to kind of support the man and carry the man both physically and figuratively.” 21 AWWW-Inspiring Marriage Proposals 1.
