Carey Mulligan May Play Hillary Clinton in Upcoming Biopic

The character of Hillary Clinton in the upcoming biopic  Rodham is apparently a hotly coveted role. With actresses like Scarlett Johansson, Jessica Chastain, Reese Witherspoon, and Amanda Seyfried seeking the role, Carey Mulligan has reportedly emerged the frontrunner. Mulligan is currently trying to work out a deal to take on the former First Lady and Secretary of State. Rodham will focus on Clinton’s early adult life, with her budding political career and relationship to Bill. Young Il Kim penned the script, with James Ponsoldt directing. Khloe Kardashian on Kris and Bruce Jenner: They Sort of Live Apart!

So those Kris Jenner divorce rumors may have been a tad off base. But they weren’t exactly in another ballpark altogether. On The Tonight Show yesterday, Khloe said her mother and Bruce Jenner are “not having problems,” as many tabloids have suggested… but “they still like to live apart.” “In my house, there is a man room for [husband Lamar Odom],” Khloe explained. “A room, not a different house. I think they took my idea and ran with it and they got another house. Bruce stays there sometimes.” The other residence is located in California, Khloe said, but in a wholly different city! Wow. And this whole time, we totally thought the Kardashians were a normal, close family whose lives were just taped for E! and who starred in sex tapes in order to remain relevant. Kris and Bruce have been together for over two decades and share a pair of biological children, Kendall and Kylie Jenner . “They’re like, ‘Don’t judge us. We’ve been married [22] years,'” Khloe told Jay Leno. “I’m like, ‘I know people that have been married longer that still live together.'” Well, sure. But how often do they pimp out their children?!?

Desiree Hartsock on The Bachelorette: Seeking Best Friend, Support System, Kids!

The Bachelorette star Desiree Hartsock says she has a good idea what she’s after – and what she wants to avoid – when her quest for love kicks off May 27. “I like someone who’s spontaneous, adventurous and enjoys every aspect of life,” says the 26-year-old, who vied for Sean Lowe ‘s heart on The Bachelor . “And, not to get too serious, but someone who could be my best friend and a support system, someone who I can see as the father of my kids.” She does not have to look far for inspiration. “My parents have been together 40 years and married for 35,” she says. “My dad has her back no matter what. She’s so affectionate to him. They act like they are 16.” A deal breaker, Desiree Hartsock says, would be dating the kind of person “who is selfish and doesn’t want kids, because I really do want a family .” So how did she handle the pressure of finding Mr. Right from the vantage point of being The Bachelorette and having 25 men competing for her? “I’m not going to lie. Andrew Garfield Joins Martin Scorsese’s Silence

For year, Martin Scorsese has been trying to get an adaptation of Shusako Endo’s novel  Silence off the ground. Now, that movie is finally under way. Andrew Garfield has been cast in Silence , in the lead role, a 17th-Century Portuguese priest. Ken Watanabe will play a Japanese translator. The film follows two Jesuit priests who travel to Japan to investigate claims of religious persecution. The role of the second priest has yet to be cast.

Kim Kardashian is pregnant. Kourtney Kardashian has two kids. And, in case every other tabloid cover hasn’t made it clear, Khloe Kardashian is childless. The reality star has had trouble getting pregnant, but she wants to make it clear: that doesn’t mean she goes around being all depressed. Far from it. ““People assume I’m desperate for a baby,” Khloe tells Redbook . “And, yes, I would love to have a baby. But I’m 28, and I’ve been married three and a half years. I love my life, but it doesn’t feel incomplete right now.” Does she ever tire of the baby questions? “I do think my difficulty getting pregnant has helped a lot of women,” Kardashian – who is undergoing hormone injections – said. “Do I wish people would quit asking me about it 24/7? Yes, but I don’t regret it.” Also contrary to many rumors? She’s totally thrilled for Kim. “People want to assume that I’m devastated. I couldn’t be happier. I actually got mad at Kourtney, because she was afraid to tell me at first. So I get why people think I’m hurt because my own sister thought I would be.”
