Like millions of other Americans, you might be a fan of the simple sandwiches that have made Jimmy John’s one of the fastest-growing fast food chains in the country. Unfortunately, a story that’s caught the Internet’s attention this week may forever change the way you think of cold meat pressed between two pasty white slabs. As you can see, that’s a photo of a naked man straddling a dead shark. The image has incited outrage on social media for a number of obvious reasons. Even among hunters and fishermen displaying such callous disrespect for one’s prey is considered distasteful and, well, gross. It’s one thing to pose for a photo with your kill, but quite another to grin like a maniac while humping a giant carcass. So what does this have to do with the chain that brought the world the J.J. Gargantuan? Well, there’s a theory circulating online that the animal lover in the pic is none other than Jimmy John’s founder Jimmy John Liautaud. Yes, Jimmy John really exists, and like Colonel Sanders before him, his two great passions are peddling meat and firing large weapons. Liautaud has been criticized in the past for hunting large African game and posting photos of his kills on social media. He renounced the practice in 2015, after finding himself at the heart of a growing controversy: “I choose to hunt and I choose to fish,” he explained at the time. “Everything I’ve done has been totally legal. And the meat has been eaten, if not by me than by someone I’m with. I don’t hunt big African game anymore.” But not everyone believes that Liautaud was sincere when he swore off the big kills. A very vocal contingent on Twitter and Facebook believes that’s Liautaud getting friendly with a shark he killed. Liautaud has denied that he’s the man in the photo in a statement issued to Deadspin earlier this week. The routine, it seems, is for the two of them to stay away from any populated areas like the bar or the lobby, and instead to just get right to business in a private room. Their hotel rendezvous allegedly began shortly after Kim’s robbery — the source says that “He was really helpful and supportive during that time.” “Kourtney really likes him and will text him to meet up whenever she has time without her kids.” “It’s been casual,” the source added, “but they are really getting to know each other and having fun.” So he stepped up after the robbery in October, so since then Kourtney hollers at him when she has some free time and they meet up at a hotel? Sounds pretty discreet. And also pretty titillating. Oh, and also it sounds like the same thing she did with Justin Bieber back in the day. At this rate, the airline industry may soon be less popular than Congress. We're barely even kidding. By now, most of the free world is aware that United Airlines dragged a customer named David Dao often a flight earlier this month because he refused to give up the seat he had paid for. This incident was followed by Delta Airlines tossing a man off a plane because he dared to use the bathroom while the jet was still on the ground. Now, seemingly in an attempt to top its own ridiculousness, Delta has done the following… On April 23, Brian and Brittany Shear say they were on board a flight from Hawaii to California along with their two-year old son. Brian explained to a flight attendant that he originally bought the seat next to him for his 18-year-old son… but decided to put him on an earlier flight so that he could use that same seat for his younger child, Grayson, who was in a car seat. However, the airline said it had overbooked the flight and it needed the seat Mason was now occupying; it argued that it had a right to it because Mason’s name was NOT the name on the ticket that was purchased. It's a bit complicated. But the bottom line is that an airline once again overbooked a flight and, in this case, was telling the parents of a young child that they had to get off as a result. “You’re saying you’re gonna give that away to someone else when I paid for that seat?” Brian tells the airline employee in the video below. “That’s not right.” An airplane employee then says that under Federal Aviation Administration regulations, two-year-old kids cannot have their own seat and must fly while seated in their parents’ laps for the flight. (This is not accurate; the websites for both the FAA and Delta encourage parents to buy separate seats for young children and use a child safety restraint system.) Fine, then: Brian agreed to hold Grayson in his lap. /But he was still told to exit the plane – or face the consequences. According to Brian, an employee said the following to them during this exchange: “You have to give up the seat or you’re going to jail, your wife is going to jail and they’ll take your kids from you.” What a lovely policy. Back in August of 2015, Rosie O’Donnell’s daughter Chelsea went missing . The TV personality publicly asked for help in locating the teen, but it was later revealed that Chelsea, who is adopted, had willingly left O’Donnell’s home in order to live with her biological mother . Now 19, Chelsea Belle O’Donnell is speaking out for the first time about like with Rosie – and her comments aren’t doing any wonders for the former View host’s reputation. In a newly-released interview with the Daily Mail, Chelsea paints a harrowing picture of her childhood, claiming that O’Donnell was frequently drunk and often engaged in verbal abuse. In the excerpt that seems to be gaining the most traction on social media, Chelsea reveals that Rosie once threatened to hit her with a wine bottle: “A couple of weeks prior, I had gotten a tattoo,” she tells the tabloid. “[Rosie] had spyware on my phone so she could see pretty much everything I did. She called me into her room and asked me about the tattoo. I denied it. She asked me to take off my clothes — she didn’t know where [the tattoo] was — to show her and I refused.” Chelsea says Rosie became increasingly angry and eventually chased her through the house: “She picked up a wine bottle and started chasing me, trying to take off my clothes,” Chelsea claims. “She told me if I didn’t show her, if I tried to leave, that she would hit me with the wine bottle.” The teen goes on to say that such incidents were not unusual in the O’Donnell household: “Since I was 12, Rosie has been verbally abusive and that was something I didn’t like, making me feel that there was something wrong with me,” Chelsea alleges. She claims she thought about reporting her adoptive mother to the police, but didn’t because of Rosie’s celebrity status: “I didn’t go to the police because of who she is. She would have tried to say I was crazy and they just wouldn’t believe me. I felt it was her word against mine and why wouldn’t they believe her over me?” As for Rosie’s claim that her daughter went missing in 2015, Chelsea says that’s completely bogus, and that O’Donnell had in fact kicked her out: “She knew,” Chelsea tells the Mail. “She was talking to me when I was down [in New Jersey]. She had called the person I was with too. The day after she had kicked me out, she had gotten in contact with that person. Yes, we know she gave birth months ago, but we were super excited to see it all play out on TV. Watch Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta Season 6 Episode 9 Online The kind folks at VH1 were kind enough to dedicate a whole episode to Joseline’s road to motherhood, and it gave us all the feels. When the episode got underway, Joseline was eight months pregnant and preparing for her baby shower. She met up with her brother at Baby Bella Boutique. Kermit’s girlfriend was six months pregnant, and Joseline was concerned over how he would react to it. Also, she was worried about how he would feed his family. “How are you going to be able to put food on the table for the kids?” she asks, and he responds, “How everyone else did it.” Joseline became vocal about her brother not taking the same method to parenting as Stevie and wanted him to find a way to provide for his children. You could tell she gave Kermit some food for thought. The wheels were spinning in his mind about the best route to take. Joseline then made her way to the Yoga center to meet up with some of her girlfriends. She chatted to them about the possibility of having a water birth. Defina wanted to go the water birth route, but she let Joseline know it quickly went the other way. “I wanted to do a water birth as well, but by the time I got to the hospital I did three pushes, and it was out,” she reveals. After that, Tamika gave Joseline an infant simulator to get to grips with being a parent. Joseline was happy with this. Joseline then revealed that Nikki Mudarris was coming to town for some “pregnant sex.” “Nikki [Mudarris] is coming into town tonight, and she definitely wants to have pregnant sex, but I’m really not feeling it because, you know, I’ve got this big stomach, but we all know my baby’ll freak,” Joseline explains to her gym trainer. “So I guess we need to speak to her and see where her mind is at.” We then got to see the two women in bed together with sexy lingerie on. They were trying to get intimate to send Joseline into labor. It did not work. At the baby shower, everyone managed to stay civil, and it showed a different side to the cast members. Everyone was smiling and chatting about happy things. We then flashed-forward to December 28, 2016. Joseline started feeling contractions and went into labor at home. She decided to go to the hospital when the pain became too much. After the birth, she called Stevie to let him meet his daughter. As I look at Bonnie for the first time, it’s unbelievable. There’s nothing better you can accomplish in the whole wide world than to be a mother. It’s a feeling that no one can explain,” Joseline says during her final confessional of the evening.
