Earlier this week, Kylie Jenner appeared topless on the cover of Complex magazine. The accompanying interview (which was overshadowed by the array of semi-nude photos) offered a number of surprising revelations about Kylie, her family, her cosmetic procedures, and perhaps most of all, her relationship with rapper Tyga. Some have called it the most candid interview of Kylie’s career. Interestingly, it comes at a time when her famous siblings are attempting to keep lower profiles in the wake of Kim Kardashian being robbed at gunpoint in Paris . Is Kylie attempting to seize the opportunity to complete her transformation into the new Kim ? We can’t say for sure, but she’s showing a lot of skin and spilling details about her relationship with an egomaniacal rapper, and aside from releasing a sex tape, those are the Kimmiest things she could do. First, Kylie revealed that she felt insecure about dating when she was in her early teens, even going so far as to admit that she got lip injections because no one wanted to kiss her . Within a year of obtaining her signature look, Kylie – just 17 – began dating 25-year-old Tyga. This was very likely due to the trauma of being robbed at gunpoint in Paris just over a week ago, as Kim continues to recover from this heinous, life-altering crime. But the absence was especially notable because rumors of this program’s cancelation continue to persist throughout the Internet. According to the above Life & Style cover, for example, Kim has “walked away” from the series because it places her life in “danger.” This claim likely isn’t true, but the gist of it probably is: Ever since Kardashian saw her life flash before her eyes last week – when she was bound and gagged and believed she was going to be raped – multiple sources have said she will withdraw from the spotlight going forward. So it would make some sense that she’d be hesitant to put her wealth and fame on full display every Sunday night on E!. But still. Kardashian has a contract to appear on Keeping Up with the Kardashians and she makes MILLIONS off the show. We don’t think she’s going anywhere any time soon. Last night, however, Kris Jenner hosted the Season 12 wrap party, with guests posing inside a photo booth throughout the evening. As you can see above and below, Khloe Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Scott Disick were all on hand… and all having a blast in the wake of Keeping Up with the Kardashians concluding its latest string of episodes. Kim was nowhere to be seen. Does this mean chatter of the cancelation of Keeping Up with the Kardashians is accurate? Again, we doubt it. We know multiple websites have made this claim and we know that Kim has remained off the social media radar entirely ever since last week’s robbery. She lost more than just millions of dollars in jewelry as a result of that incident. In a way, she lost her innocence. She was made acutely aware of certain kinds of people out there and how they can pose a threat both to herself and to her family. It’s easy to see how she’ll never be the same as a result of this confrontation. At the moment, however, Keeping Up with the Kardashians is scheduled to resume airing Season 12 episodes on October 23. All of those installments were filmed several weeks ago, of course, so there will be no mention of Kim’s robbery or any of the fallout. By the time Season 13 starts shooting, Kim will be many months removed from the most frightening six minutes of her life. It’s safe to assume that distance will make it easier for her to appear on the series and, let’s face it, the incident will also give Keeping Up with the Kardashians a lot of fresh material. After being held at gunpoint, bound and thrown in a tub while thieves robbed her of over $10 million worth of jewelry in Paris, Kardashian isn’t up for a selfie at the moment. “There is not a big plan in place for her comeback ,” a source told Entertainment Tonight . “It’s only been a week. She is still staying off the grid and away from everything.” Understandably, Kardashian is trying to recover from the incident at her and Kanye West’s Parisian apartment, where the night concierge was forced by the robbers to open the door to her apartment. “Kim hasn’t thought about work just yet,” the source added. “She is still just relaxing and taking the time to spend it with North and Saint.” Updates from the robbery reveal that Kardashian’s diamond cross necklace was found, along with duct tape and zip ties left behind by the suspects. On The October 11th episode of Ellen , Khloe Kardashian addressed the ordeal, and admitted that her sister’s current state of mind was worrying. “I mean, it’s incredibly traumatic what happened to her,” she said. “But our family is super close and great and we’ll get through it together and we do appreciate all of your guys’ love and support,” Khloe told the audience. “It will take time. You know, it was horrible what happened to her.” Last night, the Kardashians threw a party after wrapping season 12 of Keeping Up With The Kardashians . Photobooth pics were shared, but none included Kim. In fact, it’s suspected Kim didn’t even attend the bash, understandably so. In a complaint filed in New York federal court, Kim’s lawyer accused the gossip site of alleging that Kim “faked the robbery, lied about the violent assault, and then filed a fraudulent claim with her insurance company to bilk her carrier out of millions of dollars.” The lawyer claims the site is nothing more than “an online gossip tabloid that published a series of articles in early October 2016 referring to her a liar and thief.” “After having been the victim of a horrific and traumatic armed robbery in France, Kim Kardashian returned to the United States only to again be victimized,” the complaint continued. it’s a pretty bold statement for a site to make.
