Growth is a beautiful thing. Of course it can also be hard to find. The Real Housewives of Atlanta Reunion, Part 1, offered up a lot of talk about growth but what we saw was merely a an hour’s worth of screeching, eye rolling, and one upmanship Atlanta style so we’ll break it down in THG’s +/- review … Andy starts off asking why the ladies love to talk about there designer labels. It’s true, these women are always going on and on about who they’re wearing and what they’re buying. They may think it makes them appear wealthy, but they only look like a bunch of insecure wannabes. Minus 12 . Somehow all roads led back to NeNe tonight. If she wasn’t defending herself or yelling at someone she was rolling her eyes while the others were talking. And she was wearing the most ridiculous looking heels of the group. Minus 5 . How the heck does she walk in those things. First we’ll start off with Kandi whose sex toy line, Bedroom Kandi is making her a mint of money. Plus 8. You go girl! Phaedra says she’s helping make sure the products work well but NeNe simply looks uncomfortable. Kandi calls her out on it. Didn’t NeNe used to be a stripper. Maybe so but sex toys are not her thing.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta gave us a homecoming, a coronation, and an almost engagement but it still wasn’t enough to put South Africa behind them. Or at least that’s what Kim and the girls call out as Kroy finally comes back from training camp and Plus 15 because damn, it is sweet. They really have missed him. Of course don’t we all feel sorry for Kim. She had to survive a month on her own. Well, her and her nanny, her cleaning staff, her stylist, the interior designer, her assistant, and, the newest of all, her personal chef. Minus 8 . No wonder she has the time to whine. Wait, did I say assistant? Not any more. Sweetie is gone! Plus 10 because I never thought Kim would actually step up and fire her. Sweetie’s a fool. Where else will she find a job where she spends half of her time lounging by the pool? But she got lazy and once she started cursing at the kids it was time to go. We barely saw Kandi or NeNe this hour. They spent a little time with their kids but it’s barely worth mentioning. And we saw nothing of Marlo so Plus 12 for that alone. Sheree and soon to be son-in-law Damon head out to shop for rings. Or maybe not. Well, they do shop for rings but Damon won’t give his price range. I’m sure it’s embarrassing when he’s going to school, working part time and Sheree’s showing him $40,000 rings but he’s got to man up sometime and say what he can afford. Minus 8 . I think Sheree scared the hell out of him. First he says he’ll need to get hammered to get through the engagement and then he decides there isn’t going to be one.

The Bachelor’s Courtney Robertson isn’t exactly a woman with a pristine reputation to start with, but there are even more skeletons in her closet, a tabloid claims. Considering what we saw throughout the entire season of the show she – to the dismay of millions – won, the claims made by In Touch Weekly aren’t shocking. Whether they’re true or not is a different story. With Ben Flajnik still trying to run damage control over his obvious ass grabbing pics , Courtney has been hiding some pretty racy stuff from her fiance, as well. Chief among that stuff? Courtney Robertson nude photos. The model did a full-on naked Playboy shoot, In Touch reports, plastering a little tease of one photo on the cover, which also claims she had a boob job. The Playboy pics we can see … the boob job not so much. There’s plenty about Court that appears fake, sure, but her chest is not included on that list. In Touch , which also hints at some (less-scandalous) Emily Maynard secrets, is clearly jumping on the Bash Courtney Bandwagon, but to what end? Even if these claims are true, does anyone really care? Bottom line: Ben Flajnik watched Courtney Robertson act like a catty, bratty, borderline sociopathic beeyotch all winter, and is still with her right now. Nude pics and fake boobs aren’t about to faze him. Heck, he would probably be pretty stoked, given that he made his decision on the finale with his … Yeah. Anyway, do you think the engaged pair will last?

The Real Housewife of Atlanta star is pregnant again , expecting her second child with Kroy Biermann later this year, and took to Twitter yesterday to express some gratitude: “I really appreciate all the Congrats from each and every 1 of u today! We are so excited and so blessed! Thanks again!” Zolciak also teased at least one way she’ll be profiting off the expansion of her family, adding in another Tweet: “Meeting today about the baby clothing line!!! So excited!!!!!! #bigthingshappening.” Kim, who has a pair of daughters from a previous relationship, gave birth to her first son last May. [Photo: WENN.com]

Having returned from the motherland to haterville , The Real Housewives of Atlanta headed to a party this week, but instead of encountering a good time there, our fair ladies found only tears, feuding, and boredom. So it goes. Come along as we recap it all, THG +/- style! You can’t kill ’em if they’re already dead. That’s Phaedra’s take away from her embalming training. Plus 15 for her overall excitement about diving into the more gruesome aspects of the job but I was relieved that we only had to watch her work on a dummy. Seeing her learn on a person would have been a little creepy. But Phaedra’s enthusiasm makes the funeral arts look fun. She can’t wait to get in there and make the dead look pretty with a hair and makeup makeover. Plus another 5 because I’m actually beginning to think she can pull this off. Across town, Kim’s trying to get the new house in order before Kroy comes home from training camp but it isn’t going so well. Her dad keeps trying to throw things away. Minus 7 . I hate that but I will agree that Kim’s got way too much stuff but that’s her decision not his. Her bigger issue is Sweetie. Sweetie’s always been a slacker but it’s gotten worse and now she’s complaining about being asked to do too much. Minus 20 . I’ve never had a job where I was allowed to lounge by the pool for the day. Heaven forbid Kim ask her to help move a few boxes in between sun bathing and smoking her cigarettes.

Gabe Watson, the accused Honeymoon Killer, is on trial for the death of his wife, and the details surrounding her drowning are being called into question. An experienced diver who was there when Tina Thomas Watson died cast doubt on his version of what happened off Australia’s Great Barrier Reef in 2003. Dr. Doug Milsap testified for the prosecution that Watson told him two stories about how Tina Thomas died that fateful day, neither of which he believed. In one version of events from that day, Milsap recalled , Watson told him that his wife panicked, knocked off his mask, making him unable to help her. In another, he was holding her, but she was too heavy to carry to the surface. The tale simply wasn’t plausible to Milsap, because underwater, a human being’s weight is almost negligible – the equivalent of just 10 to 20 pounds. “I got angry – like I feel now – and said, that’s bulls—,” Milsap said, according to The Courier Mail . “I tend not to have much tact, I tell it like it is.” Prosecutors argue that Gabe Watson, a 36-year-old salesman, who married his wife 10 days earlier, planned her death to cash in on her life insurance. The Alabama man served 18 months in an Australian prison for manslaughter. If convicted in a Birmingham courtroom, he faces life behind bars. To preempt a possible move by the defense, prosecutors aired a taped deposition of Tina Thomas’ doctor about a heart condition she had in 2001. Tina had a procedure two years before she died to correct an irregular heartbeat. Dr. Farrell Mendelsohn testified that he considered her cured. The defense contends that Tina’s death was accidental and perhaps was gearing up to argue that her medical history put her at risk in diving.
