Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick are new parents and we must admit, Penelope Scotland is pretty darn cute. But all is not well in this household, according to the latest issue of In Touch Weekly , which quotes a friend as saying Disick is on a “downward spiral” and “more of a mess than I’ve ever seen him.” The cover story alleges that Disick is “back on drugs” and often partying while high on cocaine. Yes, folks, the “evil Scott” is back, says another source: “Things between Kourtney and Scott are the worst they’ve ever been… The animosity between them is really bad.” Allegedly, Disick isn’t allowed to be alone with his daughter, which might seem tragic, but consider this from Kris Jenner’s point of view: talk about prime storyline material for Keeping Up with the Kardashians !
In the aftermath of what he called “impossibly, ridiculously fictious” reports that Macaulay Culkin is a heroin addict , the actor surfaced in LA this week. A not-as-frail Culkin was seen at the celebrity hot spot Chateau Marmont Friday, not long after his rep’s denying of the reports that he’s a junkie. He was reportedly in good spirits. The actor also attended Natalie Portman’s wedding, though he said, “I have no comments on his activities over the weekend or otherwise. Thank you.” The former child actor made numerous headlines last week after tabloids reported his alleged drug problems and claimed he had only six months to live. It was only a matter of time and money . One month after giving birth , Kourtney Kardashian has debuted the first photo of daughter Penelope Scotland Disick – and the baby looks totally thrilled to be covering this issue of Us Weekly , doesn’t she? Sorry, Mason. But Kourtney says she had no reason to believe she could love a child as much as she loves her new daughter. Seeming to totally diss son Mason, also pictured above, Kardashian gushes to the tabloid over Penelope. “Nothing could prepare me for how hard I fell in love with her,” the reality star says in an issue that goes on newsstands Friday and which will include insight into how Mason is adjusting to life as a brother and why Scott Disick won’t change diapers. Speaking of Disick… where is he?!? The father of two is noticeable absent from this cover, causing us to wonder: Is Kourtney really raising the children alone?!?
On this week’s Keeping Up with the Kardashians, tensions boiled over between Scott and … well, everybody, while Kris received an unwelcome surprise. Last week, we saw the beginnings of a Scott Disick and Bruce Jenner feud. Last night was certainly no different, as the former grew increasingly bitter. Not that all is well, necessarily, after that. “The whole reason I had another kid with you is because you agreed to get married if we had another,” he reveals. “You broke the contract, you broke the deal, I’m not going to keep trying with you forever.” Whoa. Why has Kourtney Kardashian not yet married Scott Disick , despite being knocked up with his second child? Jimmy Kimmel asked that very question of the reality star last night and received the following, confounding answer: “I have realized that I have major commitment problems during this pregnancy. I’m really claustrophobic, and all my issues – and I have a lot of them – they all stem from this thing. I can’t commit to anything… but I love Scott, and he is my partner.” Translation: We’re waiting for the biggest tabloid offer. Might the success of Phillip Phillips on American Idol be jeopardizing his health? Without a doubt, YES, according to the singer’s doctors. TMZ reports that the finalist’s physicians are adamant: Phillips needs surgery to repair a kidney issue as soon as possible. His family doctor even spent the entire day last Saturday – during Phillip’s Idol -sponsored trip home to Georgia – by the contestant’s side. But Phillips would be sidelines for six weeks if he underwent the recommended procedure, so he is choosing to soldier on through at least next Thursday’s American Idol finale. In the meantime, Phillip is simply taking medication, but that’s also resulting in dry mouth and possibly impacting his singing. Amber Portwood has been released from jail. She got sprung yesterday. The troubled Teen Mom star was placed back behind bars last week after violating the terms of her probation by failing to appear in an Indiana court. The 22-year-old allegedly lied about a medical condition to get out of a drug test. Her probation officer called the bluff, asking her doctor directly. Some very sleepy-eyed Amber Portwood mug shots soon followed. How’s the reality star feeling now that she’s back on the other side? “OK,” Amber told E! News. “Just hustling. I’ve got a lot on my plate.” Naturally. According to her brother, Shawn Portwood, Amber’s “new goal is to join the military.” Yes, apparently he’s serious. “She was going to work hard to get her charge reduced,” added Shawn. “She’s been doing so well.” The Teen Mom trailer would suggest otherwise, but here’s hoping.
Well, at least she’s no longer pregnant and abandoned . However, according to a pair of tabloid cover stories this week, Kourtney Kardashian is pregnant… and betrayed! It’s a darn shame, isn’t it? Naturally, Kris Jenner has already spoken out against rumors that Kourtney kicked out baby daddy Scott Disick and that E! cameras caught the blowup for an upcoming Keeping Up with the Kardashians episode. “None of it is true,” Kris tells E! News of talk that Disick is actually hiding sex tapes from his girlfriend and skipped out on her baby shower May 12 because the couple was fighting. One thing is for certain: we’ll be hearing a lot more about this when season seven of this scripted series premieres on Sunday. Another thing is also for certain: if you care one iota, you need to take a very long look in the mirror.
