Dancing With the Stars delivered a bit of a surprise last week with the ousting of Elisabetta Canalis after she performed relatively well. It all goes to show: No one is safe. Every week, you dance for your life. So far, Chaz Bono has gotten through on confidence and personality, while Canalis and Metta World Peace are watching this season on the couch. Who will be the third celeb voted off DWTS this fall? So far, J.R. Martinez, Ricki Lake, Chynna Phillips and Kristin Cavallari have looked good. Even Rob Kardashian has stepped up his game in a big way. Carson Kressley and Hope Solo have been entertaining, but could be at risk if they falter. David Arquette? He narrowly avoided elimination last week. It’ll take more than another Nancy Grace nipple slip to carry the news pundit through. Bono’s gonna have to show some real improvement as well. It’s impossible to tell from week to week, but right now, Nancy, Chaz, Hope, Carson and David look to be at greater risk than the other five dancers. What do yo think? Who will win Dancing With the Stars?

Kristen Stewart is preparing to draw serious box office bank over the next year!
I came across this Kristen “The Inbred Fucked by Her Dad” Stewart Snow White pictures and figured the virgin loser, sci/fi and fantasy club weirdos, who you see having battles in the park, making you wonder where they find each other, would really appreciate it…. Just not as much as I appreciate the fact that they released these pictures as if they are some kind of news knowing that virgin losers can probably jerk off to this shit….even if Kristen Stewart is nothing but a useless spec…which isn’t so far from the truth…good one. As band’s first album in nearly eight years hits stores on Tuesday, Mark Hoppus tells MTV News that Blink is back from the brink. By James Montgomery Blink-182 Photo: Jeff Kravitz/Film Magic It’s been almost eight years since Blink-182 released their last album but, in a lot of ways, it feels much, much longer. There’s been no shortage of drama in that period, starting with the band’s ’05 breakup and continuing right on through the deaths of close friends Jerry Finn and Adam “DJ AM” Goldstein , and the plane crash that left drummer Travis Barker seriously injured. There was the gradual cooling of tensions and the triumphant reunion , the raucous tour kickoff and finally, the two-year process of recording a new album. And after all that, Blink are finally back with Neighborhoods , a record that crams all those highs and lows into just 36 minutes. It hit stores Tuesday (September 27), bringing one (very dark) chapter of the band’s career to a close, while simultaneously jump-starting another. And on the day of its release, MTV News emailed Blink’s Mark Hoppus to get his take on the long road he and his bandmates took, and just what lies ahead. Echoing the sentiments of many long-suffering Blink fans, he’s having a hard time wrapping his head around all of this too. “[It’s been] eight years since the last Blink-182 album was released. I can’t believe it. It seems like just last year, and yet so much has happened since then,” he wrote to us. “And now, finally, the new album that we’ve been talking about and working on for the past two years is out. This is the best part, the part where it turns from ideas in our head and abstract descriptions of what it might or will sound like, into a being unto itself. A CD. An mp3. A thing … that people can listen to for themselves.” And while Hoppus is thankful to begin moving forward, he can’t help but look back too. It’s sort of inevitable, given everything that’s happened in the eight years between Blink albums. But, in a lot of ways, those trials and tribulations have not only made the band stronger, but helped create an album they are all endlessly proud of. And now, it’s all yours. “It has been a long trip to get here … five years of pain and animosity, the passing of some of our dearest friends, the rebuilding of our band. And now the new album is here,” Hoppus continued. “Initial reaction to the songs and record has been overwhelmingly positive, and for that I’m truly grateful and excited. Thanks to everyone who has stuck with us through thick and thin. This record is for all of you. I hope the album means as much to you as it does to us.” Share your reviews of the latest Blink album in the comments below! Related Artists blink-182 Mark Hoppus
‘I haven’t seen the films,’ frontwoman Ritzy Bryan confesses, despite landing lead-off track on ‘Breaking Dawn’ soundtrack. By James Montgomery Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart in “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1” Photo: Summit Entertainment There are some bands prepared for the increased attention that a spot on a “Twilight” soundtrack brings. And then there are bands like voluminous rockers the Joy Formidable who, despite snagging the opening slot on the upcoming “Breaking Dawn” soundtrack , remain blissfully unaware of everything to come. Or, really, everything about the “Twilight” series, for that matter. “I can’t say I’ve ever read one. I haven’t seen the films either, but I have heard the soundtracks, and I was familiar with some of the songs, you know, Metric and the Black Keys ,” frontwoman Ritzy Bryan told MTV News. “So I was more aware of the musical side of ‘Twilight’ than I was the books or the movies. Actually, I know very little [about the books]. I know they’re about vampires, and I know they’ve connected very much with an audience … so they’re obviously much enjoyed by a lot of people.” And yet, despite all that, their contribution to the “Breaking Dawn” soundtrack — a ringing, downright desperate song called “Endtapes” that will be the album’s lead-off track — fits seamlessly; mostly because, as Bryan explained, it is very much about the themes that remain central to the “Twilight” series. “The song was written at the same time as our album, and because of that, it has a lot of the tone and the feel of the album. And those songs, there’s a lot of turbulence going on, and it definitely chronicles a year that was very turbulent on one hand, but you know, it’s me trying to push for that hope and that sense of optimism,” she said. “It’s a song that captures that spirit. It’s a song about the frustration of not being able to have closure on a difficult situation.” And given that, unlike fellow “Breaking Dawn” artist Christina Perri , she’s basically oblivious to the entire “Twilight” phenomenon, Bryan has no idea where “Endtapes” will be used in the upcoming “Breaking Dawn” film … shoot, she’s not even sure she and her bandmates will get invited to the premiere. That doesn’t mean they wouldn’t go, of course. “I don’t know anything about that! If we get an invite, I wouldn’t mind going to the cinema. I haven’t been to the cinema for such a long time,” she laughed. “We’ve been perpetually on the road for about a year and a half, and we watch lots and lots of DVDs in our van, but a trip to the cinema would be wonderful. I would have to do some laundry, but that would be fine!” Check out everything we’ve got on “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” For young Hollywood news, fashion and “Twilight” updates around the clock, visit HollywoodCrush.MTV.com .
‘I don’t encourage anyone to follow that path,’ Gaga says of partying youth in interview aired on the CW. By Jocelyn Vena Lady Gaga Photo: James Devaney/WireImage Lady Gaga sat down with French fashion pioneer Jean-Paul Gaultier for a special that aired Monday night on the CW. The singer opened up to the fashion designer about her beginnings and what she calls her “self-indulgent” youth. “I just was partying and being very self-indulgent and trying to find myself. In hindsight, it’s so dangerous, and I don’t encourage anyone to follow that path,” she told the designer. “I remember my dad … I was actually doing drugs in my parents’ house one day and they didn’t know I was in the bathroom. I came out, and my father could tell, and I just remember feeling so embarrassed and I quit instantly.” Despite her hard-partying ways, Gaga always maintained her pop star ambitions. She talked about quitting college, performing in small New York clubs and making the decision to take off her clothes during her performances to get everyone’s attention. “I knew that there was something I loved about the shock-art potential of what I could create,” she said. “I like to liberate myself with my ability to change.” She later likened that philosophy to her look: “I still love trash glamour; it’s so much of my favorite thing about getting dressed. I love the mixture of things that are really elegant with things that are really trashy.” That combination has made her a superstar. She explained, “My cultural contribution and social contribution was really an honor and I’m still so humbled by it. I hope I can continue to use my voice to make an impact on my generation.” Related Photos The Evolution Of: Lady Gaga Related Artists Lady Gaga
MTV News breaks down the latest ‘Twilight’ trailer. By Kara Warner Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner in “Breaking Dawn – Part 1” Photo: Summit Entertainment Be still, our “Twilight”-obsessed hearts. Finally, a new trailer arrived online Tuesday (September 13), and it is a doozy. Picking up where the first one (which debuted during the MTV Movie Awards in June) left off, the sparkling, action-packed, two-minute-and-30-second teaser offers fresh glimpses of “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1.” The fact that we enjoyed every second of this new trailer is a given, therefore we are breaking out our top five favorite moments: Charlie Walks Bella Down the Aisle Bella’s dad has never seemed totally onboard with his daughter dating Edward Cullen, let alone marrying him. However, in this sweet moment that opens the trailer, we see a wonderful bond between Bella and Charlie, as well as the natural chemistry between actors Kristen Stewart and Billy Burke, as they prepare to walk down the aisle together. “Don’t let me fall, Dad” Bella says. “Never,” he answers. Jacob and Bella’s Dance After three books and four films of fighting for her heart, Jacob Black has to succumb to serious heartbreak and officially say goodbye to Bella. This sweet and heartfelt moment is captured beautifully during a slow dance at Bella’s wedding reception. “This is how I’ll remember you,” Jacob says to Bella, hinting at the fact that she’s set her heart on becoming a vampire. “Pink cheeks, heartbeat — you think I’d be used to telling you goodbye by now.” The Honeymoon Aftermath It’s safe to say that fans have been more excited about seeing the honeymoon scene than any other — save for a glimpse at Bella’s wedding dress, perhaps. In the new trailer, we revisit Edward’s hands crushing the headboard, followed by a very pleased and peaceful Bella lying in bed, surrounded by feathers from torn pillows and possibly pieces of the headboard. Intense, heated and squeal-worthy, for sure. Wolves vs. Vamps It wouldn’t be a “Twilight” movie without some sort of epic battle involved, and in “Breaking Dawn – Part 1,” there is a grand showdown between wolves and vampires. The wolf pack, which Jacob has deserted, wants to prevent Bella’s unborn half-human, half-vampire from being born. “Get ready, they’re coming for Bella,” Jacob says, anxiously. “They’re not going to touch her,” answers Edward. We then see a shot of a standoff, wolves surrounding the vampires, at which point Jacob addresses them, “If you kill her, you kill me,” followed by quick cuts of Alice and Jasper Cullen fighting the wolves. Edward Reacts to Bella In Labor Throughout the final minute of the trailer, most of the emphasis is put on the tension surrounding Bella’s pregnancy. Carlyle warns Bella: “The fetus isn’t compatible with your body. It’s too strong and fast growing. Your heart will give out before you can do anything” — which Bella doesn’t want to hear, much like Edward’s emotional outbursts that she has decided to give up her life for her unborn child, without considering his feelings. The last shot of the trailer is Edward’s face, full of anguish and anxiety, with Bella screaming in pain in the background. What was your favorite scene in the trailer? Let us know in the comments! Taylor Lautner might be a little too modest. In the latest issue of VMAN, the dreamy actor doesn’t take any credit for the mammoth success of The Twilight Saga, instead telling the magazine: “It’s definitely these characters we are playing. [Fans] are in love with Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black. They feel like they know them. We are just lucky enough to be playing them.” Stare all you’d like, ladies. He’s not going anywhere. True, but it’s possible the looks and the talent of Lautner, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson play some role. Taylor, of course, would never complain about his stardom. But he does point out one downside: “When I am traveling the world promoting the films, I say I am on vacation, but it’s not really true. When I go to a beautiful city I spend the whole time in a hotel room and then I am back on a plane to the next place.” Lautner next stars in Abduction . Check out a feature on the movie NOW .
Back in 2007, Sam Riley burst on the scene with a starmaking performance in the critically acclaimed film Control . Poised to be the latest hot British import to invade U.S. shores, Riley followed Control up with two intriguing-on-paper titles — Franklyn with Ryan Phillippe and Eva Green and 13 opposite Ray Winstone, Mickey Rourke, Jason Statham, Michael Shannon and Alexander Skarsgaard. The rest, as they say, is history — though maybe not the kind Riley initially envisioned.
