Lady Gaga Amputated Leg Rumor: Debunked!

It was a quality celebrity rumor: Lady Gaga had a leg amputated below the knee just ’cause she thought it’d be cool and “different.” Sadly, it’s not true. Well, fortunately is more like it. Despite reports that this is “accurate and based on facts,” and she dropped the bombshell “whilst hopping around the studio,” don’t believe the hype. The Lady Gaga hermaphrodite rumor, however? That we leave to you to draw conclusions on. The pics are more conclusive than her “peg leg” ones. Hilariously, the Fame singer’s record-label rep was actually asked him to confirm, deny or clear up the leg amputation rumor , and finally replied Saturday: “It’s not true,” the rep said . Lady Gaga: Two legs to stand on. This rumor: Zero. It’s surprising it even made this far and a rep addressed it. No “Exclusive: Lady Gaga Amputates Leg” headlines on any reputable site was one clue. As was the lack of any doctored Lady Gaga pictures looking even remotely real. Besides, when would the alleged operation have even happened? Lady Gaga is a touring machine, most recently taping a performance for American Idol . The girl hops around, but only figuratively. Not to mention the logistical and ethical impossibility of a doctor doing this: “I do not know any country or any location where this has happened, or would be considered legally or ethically correct,” sums up one plastic surgeon. Finally, a suggestion for rumor-starters: Next time, say if it’s the left or right leg and throw in more medical “details.” Makes it more convincing … and funny. As for how this got started, Lady Gaga’s amputated leg is the work of Britain’s Daily Squib , which posted a peg-leg photo and an article about Gaga’s “new look.” The April 24 piece was meant as a satire, but peeps actually ran with it. Nice work!

There are so many rumors surrounding Lady Gaga, it’s hard to take any of them seriously … although she’s so out there, sometimes it makes you wonder. Lest we forget the Lady Gaga hermaphrodite story last summer. Talk about serious legs. In fact, there are still people convinced this urban myth is legit. Still, the rumor going around that the singer had a leg amputated below the knee, apparently because she wanted to look different, seems far fetched. Until she confirms it in a sit-down with Barbara Walters, we’re going to put it in the false category. Although whoever started it gets props for creativity. “I just had this much leg amputated …” As the rumor goes, Gaga had a cosmetic amputation surgery and before long, she will personally make the announcement to fans … or unveil it in avideo. Depends which version of the rumor you read, we suppose. While Lady Gaga’s fashion sense is as wild as it gets, and we can see some amputation-themed live performance of some kind, this has gotta be a hoax . Being different is one thing. Hacking off a limb is quite another. Who would want that? And what kind of doctor, save Conrad Murray, would agree to do it?

Lady Gaga Had Amputated One Of Her Legs

The American recording pop artist, Lady Gaga, surprised her fans and the TV audience after she announced that she had one of her legs amputated below the knee solely for fashion purposes. The pop singer withstands the operation in order to look increasingly different, and because of this she seems to achieve her objectives. Her record company even paid for the said operation. In her new video, which will start its filming in three weeks, showcases her new image. Lady Gaga said on MTV “This is the latest fashion I’m starting and you can see that I’m a world leader when it comes to wacky and weird shit huh. Next month after I recover from the surgery I hope to have the other leg amputated or maybe my arm, hmm…which one should I amputate next?” Most pop music experts would say that Lady Gaga has pioneered a new trend in pop acts who want to cash in on the amputations. Veteran pop act Madonna has already shown her interest in the new frenzy trend and has vowed to have both of her unsightly arms amputated and have it donated to science. Susan Boyle Dreams Of Recording A Duet With Lady Gaga

Scottish singer Susan Boyle expressed that she would love to record a duet with billboard topper Lady Gaga. Boyle mesmerized Britain and the rest of the world with her rendition of  ’I Dreamed A Dream’ on reality TV program Britain’s Got Talent. She has sold millions of copies of her debut album and debuted as the number one best selling CD on charts. “I think Lady Gaga is a wonderful artist and completely original and I like her costumes,” she said. “Love it! “Yes, I’d love to do a duet with her, complete with telephone hat too!” GaGa has previously revealed her desire to work with Boyle. “I think she’s amazing,” she said earlier this month. “She is so unique and I love that. Lexus GX 460 is Not Safe? Articles written negatively about Lexus GX 460 is spreading online like wildfire. According to Consumer Magazine, the said vehicle model is not safe for drivers primarily because it is prone to rollover incidents. The said magazine recommended most of Toyota’s models for the past years and it is very rare that they brand a certain vehicle a ‘Don’t Buy’ warning. Consumer Reports said that it testing staff found that “when pushed to its limits on a handling course” on the magazine’s test track, the rear of the Lexus GX “slid out until the vehicle was almost sideways” before the vehicles electronic stability control system was able to regain control. All four of the magazine’s test drivers experienced the problem. Last year, 22 out of 25 models presented by Toyota were recommended by the said magazine. Lady Gaga , known for her racy and sexually charged songs, has revealed she is celibate. In an interview to promote in her role in MAC’s new Viva Glam campaign, which supports global HIV and AIDS projects, she told the Daily Mail she is not having sex. And the singer confessed she doesn’t want her fans to have sex, either. “I can’t believe I’m saying this – don’t have sex. I’m single right now and I’ve chosen to be single because I don’t have the time to get to know anybody. So it’s OK not to have sex, it’s OK to get to know people. I’m celibate, celibacy’s fine.” And she said her celibacy is something she wants to celebrate with her fans. “It’s OK to be whomever it is that you want to be. You don’t have to have sex to feel good about yourself, and if you’re not ready, don’t do it. And if you are ready, there are free condoms given away at my concerts when you’re leaving! I remember the cool girls when I was growing up. Everyone started to have sex. But it’s not really cool any more to have sex all the time. It’s cooler to be strong and independent.” Not a bad message for all her young fans.

Lady Gaga Advocates Abstinence

Lady Gaga’s new routine is celibacy. The singer, who has released music videos which shows some sexy scenes, has surprised even herself with her latest message and that is to embrace abstinence. Moreover, she is encouraging her fans to do the same. When Gaga was in England, where she promotes MAC’s Viva Glam Campaign to fight AIDS, she admitted that she doesn’t have sex. She also added “it’s okay not to have sex, it’s okay to get to know people. She’s abstaining from sexual intercourse and feels that celibacy is fine. Gaga claims that she is recommending a ban on sex for herself in particular because there has been a steadily increasing HIV cases among women around the world, as compared to men. In fact, the HIV cases among men have dropped. Sex is not necessary to feel good about yourself. If you’re not ready, then don’t do it.
