So much for smiling through the pain. Not long after telling her Instagram followers that her plan was to put on a happy face , Khloe Kardashian has taken to Twitter with a different message. “As much as I wish I were made of steel… I’m not,” Khloe wrote last night. “I’m pretty damn close to it though hehe.” Kardashian, of course, is not-so-indirectly referencing the myriad issues facing her relationship with troubled husband Lamar Odom these days. Following rampant allegations of infidelity, followed by rumors of the basketball player’s serious drug use, Odom was arrested for DUI on Friday. He has since been released on bond, but Khloe refuses to let him move home unless Lamar gets help, which he has been (and remains) resistant to. Sources say Khloe told Lamar the same thing a few days prior to his arrest in what has been an ongoing source of tension between the couple. Then Odom endangered himself and others on the road, and subsequently failed to contact her or his attorneys after the arrest, which was the last straw. Kardashian actually learned about it via TMZ. Ouch . The estranged couple was spotted together on Saturday, but Odom was sent on his way afterward. Insiders say the future of their marriage is “grim” at best.
