For Lauren Conrad, the hills are now alive with the sound of wedding bells. That’s right, the former MTV reality star is married! LC and William Tell exchanged vows on Saturday in an intimate California ceremony, insiders confirm to Us Weekly. They were surrounded by close friends and family members. “What a perfect way to start our lives together; surrounded by the people we love most,” Conrad and Tell said via statement. Conrad and Tell went on a Valentine’s Day blind date after being up by mutual friends in 2012. No pressure there, huh?!? They then got engaged in October of last year. “William and I are overwhelmed by all of your warm wishes,” Conrad wrote at the time. “Thank you so much for sharing in this special moment :-).” Tell graduated from law school at the University of Southern California in May and Conrad celebrated her bachelorette party in Cabo a month later. Kate Middleton may be pregnant, but that doesn’t mean she’s ready to settle in one place. Reports out of England indicate that Prince William has taken a job as an air ambulance operator that will pay him the equivalent of about $30,000 US dollars a year, and require Will and his family to live most of the year at Anmer Hall in rural Norfolk. It may sound admirable: Will taking a low-paying, potentially dangerous job that will benefit others, rather than relaxing on a throne somewhere, but many Brits are justifiably pissed that Will continues to shirk his royal duties, and waited until after his 22-room apartment was renovated top-to-bottom (at great expense to tax payers) before announcing his intention to live elsewhere. Naturally, there’s plenty of speculation as to whether Will and Kate have ulterior motives for fleeing the hustle and bustle of London. There have long been rumors that Kate’s been clashing with the Queen over everything from her mothering, to her spending habits, to her “wardrobe malfunctions.” (We’ll sincerely miss Kate Middleton wardrobe malfunctions when she moves to the boonies.) Is the royal couple moving as far as possible from Buckingham Palace to avoid further feuding? Or is there a much more obvious and understandable motivation here? Prince George celebrates his first birthday  today, and it won’t be long before the young lad is aware of the constant throng of paparazzi that surrounds him everywhere he goes. Lauren Conrad: Allure Called Me "Basic B!tch" With Sausage Curls!

The lovely Lauren Conrad is anything but basic to us, but Allure apparently views her as less exceptional than does THG’s editorial department. The 28-year-old beauty took to Twitter on Monday to call out Allure for labeling her exactly that in a recent style feature titled “Beauty and a Beat.” It may not look like a major diss at a glance, given that LC is famous for her understated, classic California style, but when the magazine elaborates? Less flattering. “Made famous by Kreayshawn, and viral by YouTube, the Basic woman is remarkably unremarkable,” says the description under her photo. “What’s noteworthy about her style is its very plainness. Except to her. She swears those red soled shoes are cutting-edge,” the article states. “Basic” girls, Allure says, are known for their “skinny jeans” and “blowout or sausage curls.” Ouch. Suffice it to say, Lauren was less than thrilled. “I definitely just got called a basic b*tch! Haha!” Conrad, who’s engaged to William Tell , wrote with a link and a screen shot of the article in question. “Sausage curls!? Really @Allure_magazine?” Making this even more surprising? The newly engaged Lauren Conrad, who covers this week’s Cosmopolitan , says she had no indication that William Tell was planning to pop the question. The 27-year-old fashion designer says she didn’t think the University of Southern California law student was ready to get engaged … but was he ever! “He didn’t even ask my friends, which was a bold move,” Lauren Conrad says. “He said, ‘I know you, and I know what you like.’ And I love it. It’s perfect.” The two have yet to set a date, but the former Hills star isn’t worried. In fact, she’s just happy to have found a nice guy after years of dating bad boys. “You have the rest of your life to be married. Enjoy falling in love. When girls get caught up in the timeline, it becomes more about the wedding than the marriage.” “You should be with someone with whom you could elope and be happy.” As for how she knew the 33-year-old William Tell was The One? “William hates it when I say this, but he really is a very nice guy, and when you meet a nice guy who also manages to keep your interest, that is the dream.” “If you’re going to settle down, it should be someone you can’t stop thinking about. Especially in your 20s. If I was single in my 60s, I would totally settle. I would!” Regarding what she might tell her friends about love? “Being on television all those years, I got to view my own behavior,” she recalls. “One thing I realized is that I was too hard on my friends when it came to guys.” “Instinctually, I wanted to protect them. But then you come off as judge-y and people are reluctant to come to you. I had to cut ‘I told you so’ from my vocabulary.”

It is all over for Bryana Holly and Brody Jenner. The couple, who announced their relationship in June via a couple steamy beach photos , reportedly got into a fight at the Playboy Mansion on Halloween and have gone their separate ways. It’s unclear what caused the tiff, but Brody Jenner at the Playboy Mansion? We’re gonna go on a crazy limb here and say at least one other woman was involved. Brody Jenner Dumps Bryana Holly Jenner famously dated Avril Lavigne prior to Holly and has also been linked to a pair of fellow reality stars: Lauren Conrad and Kristin Cavallari. Neither Jenner nor Holly have commented on their split, but Perez Hilton, Us Weekly and number of other outlets have confirmed the news. We each attractive side of this former couple nothing but the best.

Kate Middleton and Prince William have named three godparents for their newborn baby Prince George, and their choices are a break from tradition. Bypassing Prince Harry, Pippa Middleton, and the usual royal suspects, Will and Kate instead tapped three old friends from childhood and college: Fergus Boyd, a friend from the University of St. Andrews Emilia d’Erlanger, a long-term friend of Prince William who also has known Kate Middleton since their time at Marlborough College Hugh van Cutsem, one of his oldest childhood pals No other members of the royal family have ever selected as godparents friends who didn’t have royal ties. William and Kate: They’re just like us! There’s talk, however, that George will have six godparents in all, meaning Prince Harry, Pippa Middleton and James Middleton still stand a good chance. Still, pretty cool move on the royals’ part as usual. A godparent is supposed to serve as a spiritual guide for a child, as well as a caretaker in the event that something happens to the child’s parents. It can be a huge responsibility, especially to parents who choose to baptize their babies and who take the selection of a godparent very seriously. William and Kate are very close to their siblings, so this isn’t a snub. As we said, they may end up as godparents as well. But either way, it’s interesting. William Tell: Who is Lauren Conrad’s Fiance?

Lauren Conrad is engaged to William Tell, her boyfriend of almost two years. Everyone who knows or feels like they know her from TV is happy for her.  Well, maybe not Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag . But you know what we mean. LC confirmed her engagement to William Tell this weekend. Here’s a look at the man who put a ring on The Hills and Laguna Beach star’s finger! Just like Lauren, William was born and raised in Southern California. A USC law student, he studied music and business as an undergrad. In random news, Tell is also a singer-songwriter whose tune “Just for You” can be found on the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants soundtrack. He released his solo debut album, You Can Hold Me Down , in 2007. While his relationship isn’t playing out online as so many tend to do these days, William, 33, did re-tweet a cute Instagram from Conrad last summer. “That moment when you realize the USC colored scarf you are knitting for your boyfriend might look exactly like a hogwarts scarf… awesome,” she wrote. A source close to the L.A. Candy author said the fact that he’s so non-famous was a big part of knowing Tell was “The One” right when they met him.
