Lauren Conrad: Engaged to William Tell!

Lauren Conrad is going from The Hills to the altar. Oh yes, the former reality star is engaged! Conrad made the exciting announcement herself today via blog, writing to fans: “I am very excited to share with you guys that William and I got engaged over the weekend.” “I am beyond thrilled!” The Laguna Beach native, 27, included along with her message a pic of her diamond ring, which is anything but small (check it out after the jump). Now and author and designer, LC has kept her romance largely under the radar since her reality show career came to a close by her own choosing. William Tell is a USC law student and the couple began dating in early 2012. She previously dated Stephen Colletti, Jason Wahler, Brody Jenner and Kyle Howard. No question waiting for The One paid off. “William and I are overwhelmed by all of your warm wishes,” Lauren Conrad concluded. “Thank you so much for sharing in this special moment 🙂 XO Lauren.” Speaking of LC … Jason Wahler and Ashley Stack got married this weekend! Quite the eventful weekend for alumni of the MTV reality franchise!

Jason Wahler and Ashley Stack: Married!

On the same weekend that Lauren Conrad got engaged to William Tell, her ex-boyfriend Jason Wahler has one-upped her by marrying Ashley Stack! The former Laguna Beach star married the model Saturday. The couple wed in front of family and friends at the Calamigos Ranch in Malibu, Calif. After proposing to Slack last November, Jason Wahler , 26, made it official on Instagram, sharing a picture of his then fiancee’s big diamond sparkler. J-Dubs’ caption? A simple, declarative “Love you babe!” Wahler, who had been previously engaged to USC tennis star Katja Decker-Sadowski, is likely best known as Lauren Conrad’s first serious boyfriend. He also drank a lot and got arrested a ton in his heyday. Glad that’s behind him. Congrats to the happy couple on the big wedding news , and to LC and William in what is a banner weekend for Hills alumni!

Shelby Keeton in her Bikini for Marie Claire of the Day

Shelby Keeton is a babe. Which I guess would explain why she’s a model. I’m surprised I’ve never heard of her, because if I had, I would have taken advantage of her low level of fame and booked her to shoot nudes in my basement at a discount rate, but now that she’s in some major publication, she’s probably more expensive than “Free cocaine”…making her one of the many who have got away. Lost opportunity that I should spend more time preventing by stalking the “New Faces” section of the modelling agencies…. I don’t know where she’s from, but I’m gonna assume heaven.

Lauren Conrad is not dead, despite what MTV wants you to think, you know with the whole cancelling the show she was the focal point of, that at the time was over-exposed and irritating, but now, a few years later feels like it never happened, unless of course you are Lauren Conrad, in which case it is all that you’ve ever done that matters. Apparently, she has a fashion line and a series of books, but I’m more interested in her series of boobs, even when wondering why Marie Claire is doing this fashion spread on her, it just doesn’t make sense…like the dlisters die with the vehicles that made them dlisters. That’s what I say, but no one ever listens to me.

Boy Scouts Propose Lifting Ban of Gay Members

The Boy Scouts of America are one of the most famous groups for banning homosexual members, and it has seemed for the last few months that their views may finally change. Now, the BSA is proposing a partial lift of the exclusion, allowing homosexuals to join as youth members, but not as adult leaders. The proposed resolution comes after weeks of deliberation on the issue. The next step is to take it to a vote amongst the 1,400 members of the National Council. The proposal is already getting flack from both sides of the argument. Gay-rights organizations such as GLAAD are calling the bill timid and inadequate, while Conservative groups criticize it for declaring that homosexuality is acceptable for children. Ultimately, the BSA will likely have to take a clear stance on the issue. As a result, many project that membership will decrease over time and that hostility toward the organization will grow until they lift the ban entirely. Lauren Conrad Home: Beautiful! Not Cheap!

Lauren Conrad is amassing quite the portfolio. The former star of MTV’s Laguna Beach and The Hills just purchased a new Los Angeles home, renovated by Jeff Lewis, of Bravo’s Flipping Out fame. It cost her $3.745 million. Check it out: The private, 4,300-square-foot, 2-story, New England-style home is located in the posh, West L.A. enclave of Brentwood, home to many celebrities. The 6-bedroom, 5-bedroom estate sits on a quarter acre and features hardwood floors; marble in the kitchen and bathrooms; and stainless steel appliances. While the backyard doesn’t come with that quintessential celebrity staple – a swimming pool – the listing notes that there’s definitely room to build one. Lauren Conrad, 27, also owns a Beverly Hills condo and a four-bedroom pad in that Orange County seaside town where it all began … Laguna Beach. She’s also an author and fashion designer, among her other pursuits. Seems like she’s doing pretty well overall as a businesswoman these days …

Lauren Conrad exists….she didn’t blow up with the rest of the cast of the HILLS like she should have…but I guess that’s because she’s gone onto bigger and better things….like posing in LUCKY magazine 5 years later, a magazine with a readership of at leaser 200 women at the gyno office….and she’s even showing a little bra to really set off fire alarms….letting us all know she’s not dead…even though she might as well could be….considering how much she matters now that her pollution has been taken off TV….. And the real question is…how many dudes do you think have jerked off to her? I’m thinking not that many…

Doug Reinhardt and Allie Lutz: Engaged!

The Hills star Doug Reinhardt has gotten engaged to Allie Lutz. The bride-to-be announced the news via Instagram January 6! Lutz’s “high school sweetheart” (apparently) proposed over the weekend . “Cat’s out of the bag,” the University of Southern California graduate, 26, wrote. The two are currently vacationing in Anguilla. Laguna Beach native Doug briefly dated Lauren Conrad … and Amanda Bynes and Cassie Scerbo and Paris Hilton and former Miss USA Rima Fakih. In addition to his acclaimed career in reality TV, Reinhardt attended Pepperdine University and played minor league baseball for the Angels and Orioles. In 2010, he released a series of fitness DVDs, the Doug Reinhardt Kettebell System. His family also invented the frozen burrito or something like that. Congrats Doug and Allie!

It is the job of a celebrity to look good, that’s simply a fact in this image-obsessed culture of ours. How do many of them do it? Here are a couple hints: it’s not through QuickTrim and it’s not through the Duggars Tater Tot Casserole Recipe . That thing is really high in calories. For most stars, it’s all about diet, as revealed below. Read on to learn how certain females maintain their figure through special meals or snacks… Ashley Tisdale eats fresh fruit for breakfast, along with an egg white omelet and whole wheat toast. The pros to this meal? Lean protein and whole grain, along with natural sugar. Lauren Conrad snacks on a plate of hummus, sliced turkey, cucumbers and apples. Healthy and filling! Annalynne McCord cooks citrus chicken for dinner, often with pasta and a side of spinach. The latter’s fiber, folate and vitamin K is ideal for one’s immune system. Miley Cyrus goes with Mexican, but her secret is to use whole wheat tortillas instead of flour ones, and also to it fill them with skinless chicken in order to pack in the protein. Can you ever sneak in a chocolate chip recipe ? Absolutely, but it’s all about moderation, people!
