“Never go to the animal shelter ‘just to look.'” – Lauren Conrad It seems that the former star of The Hills learned this lesson the hard way … and the CUTE way! She just adopted an adorable puppy that she named Fitz: Of course, Fitz had to meet Conrad’s other four-legged family member, 4-year-old Lab mix Chloe, also a rescue dog. Fortunately, it looks like that went well. “All I want to do is take pictures of this little cutie,” she shared, posting a photo of Fitz looking alert and prepared for food, fun, treats, walks … who’s to say. Possibly the only thing cuter than Lauren Conrad pics ? These:
The Hills aren’t alive with the sound of music…they are dead…but unfortunately…not the kind of dead I want…cuz the trash on the show live on…even thought a plane crash woulda been a much welcomed series finale…there just aren’t enough plane crashes with young starlets this generation….we need are Richie Valen / Buddy Holly….and these idiots woulda been key players…perfect for the job….peaked after selling their souls….something some of them are struggling with that.. HEIDI MONTAG ROCKING STRIP CLUBS WITH HER SHITTY FAKE TITS CUZ IT IS ONE STEP AWAY FROM DOING PORN but this Lauren Conrad character seems to be doing just fine….. Here’s the video…
Lauren Conrad says The Hills was totally real. Mostly. Sort of. In the new issue of Allure, the 26-year-old former reality star says, “I think the story they told wasn’t a dishonest one. The way they did it sometimes was.” “They aren’t going to be there for everything. Sometimes two characters will get into a fight, and that’s important to the story line. The [producers] need that reenacted.” Most of the drama was based on reality, however. Including LC dating Brody Jenner. “[We] did date,” she says. “It was pretty brief. There was definitely editing to drag it out.” Conrad, who is currently dating musician William Tell, shares what she loves in a guy: “You don’t want a slob, but you don’t want a guy who is constantly borrowing your tweezers … The last year and a half, I was dating a lot, and it’s slim pickings.” Now that the celebrity fashion designer and Lauren Conrad Beauty author has gotten used to the spotlight, she’s learned not to take things so seriously. “I think anyone in the public eye is going to be hated, and a lesson that I needed to learn quickly is that it is impossible to please everybody,” she says. “One person will call you classy, another will call you boring.” “People felt that a lot of the things I had were undeserved, maybe because I didn’t have a specific talent. I was more of a regular girl and maybe didn’t deserve the attention.” You know what deserves attention? These Lauren Conrad bikini photos . Wow!
“I#39;m fine with it, like I#39;m at peace with it. With me, I never feuded with anyone, and nothing ever ended badly, so it just naturally happened that [I lost touch with people].” Port – who says she runs into the show#39;s star and former close pal Lauren Conrad “here and there” – wouldn#39;t say being on The Hills “scarred me for life, but it definitely made a mark.” But the fashion designer, who also starred on her own series, The City, isn#39;t ruling out another go at reality TV. “I t
‘I did [reality TV] for as long as I could, then I kind of reclaimed my own life,’ ‘Fame Game’ author tells MTV News. By Jocelyn Vena Lauren Conrad Photo: MTV News Lauren Conrad appeared on two of MTV’s biggest reality shows: “Laguna Beach” and, later, “The Hills.” While she introduced herself to the world on “Laguna,” it was her starring role on “The Hills” that helped launch her from small-screen starlet to full-on star and mogul. Conrad left “Hills” in 2009 to make room for former “Laguna” frenemy Kristin Cavallari to lead the charge on the show, but did return in 2010 to say goodbye to the series at the show’s finale event . With several years behind her, MTV News wondered whether she would ever consider a one-off reunion special. “I don’t know, because I catch up [with] anyone I still talk to from the show. I get to see [them] regularly anyway,” Conrad explained while in New York City on a book tour for her latest piece of fiction, “The Fame Game.” “So, that just happens on a Friday night, but it’s a game night at my apartment, which is so much more fun [than a reunion special].” Conrad also shared that any reality TV, at this moment, isn’t on her agenda. Though she had been in talks to star in a new MTV series in 2010 that would focus more on her work life, it never came together. These days, she’s focused on her work as a writer and fashion designer. “Not looking to at the moment,” she said. “I’m just really happy with where I left off. I think if you’re going to do a reality show, you have this obligation to share your life with people, and I did it for as long as I could, then I kind of reclaimed my own life. So, no plans to right now, but you never say never, and you always listen to ideas.” Would you like to see Lauren Conrad return to reality TV? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
Reality star, fashion designer and best-selling novelist Lauren Conrad poses topless in the May issue of Glamour , revealing a beautiful body in white bikini bottoms. File this under: Things You Didn’t See Coming This Morning Things That Should’ve Happened Years Ago Ironically, Conrad admits she’s normally shy about showing off her body, so much so that she doesn’t even wear swimsuits to the beach. Modesty is overrated, LC: “On the vacation to Cabo, I wore a bathing suit on the beach for the first time in years. Usually I’m just petrified,” says the former star of The Hills . “A couple of years ago someone zoomed in on my cellulite and it was so mean. I took it personally. I haven’t worn a bathing suit in L.A. in years.” Although the California native and author of The Fame Game (on sale today) isn’t planning a return to reality TV, she does spill some secrets about it: “During shooting, the producers would send us quick texts telling us what to talk about … They couldn’t walk through the shot so they’d just text me, like, ‘Hey, say something quick about this story line.’ That’s why we were always checking our phones!” Surprisingly brilliant, Hills . Lauren Conrad admits to Glamour that she doesn’t keep in touch with many of her former co-stars, saying that “The show is what brought a lot of us together, and when it was all gone, we didn’t have anything in common anymore.” Despite her fame, LC says she’s still the same girl she was before MTV. “The best way to stay grounded is to surround myself with friends and family who knew me way back when,” she says. “There’s nothing like cleaning my mom’s dishes or taking out the trash to remind me that I’m no different than anyone else.” It’s a nice sentiment, but we disagree. These Lauren Conrad pictures are quite different than those of the average person … in a very positive way.
What is this, 2009? Spencer Pratt tried to make amends with Lauren Conrad on her 26th birthday via Twitter Wednesday, but the fashion designer and former Hills star isn’t listening. “Lauren has moved past all the drama,” a source close to LC says. “She’s focusing on her career and barely has time to interact with the people she actually likes.” “Why would she want to back in touch with Spencer Pratt ?” A fair point. Why would anyone really? The source close to Conrad adds that “in this case, like others, she’s going to continue to do what works best with Spencer and that’s obviously to ignore him.” The world has apparently followed suit in the past year and a half. Pratt, meanwhile, is broke and living at home , but says he doesn’t “have a hatchet to bury” with his former co-star, who he frequently butted heads with. “We had our differences, but the fact is that Lauren was a part of our lives, both personally and professionally,” Spencer Pratt tells Us , as if anyone cares. “After all this time, what point would there be in being angry? All I wanted to do was wish her nothing but the best in everything she does.” Sadly, that totally heartfelt sentiment fell upon a deaf Twitter account. [Photos: WENN.com]
Lauren Conrad, whose fashion line for Kohl’s and her own Paper Crown line are both going strong these days, says the trick to designing great clothes is to do so selfishly. Her motto for creating each season’s signature look? “You know what you’d want to buy – design it,” she tells People . There’s a continuity in each season for each line that comes from the former Hills star’s very own vision. “The look is soft, romantic, pretty,” she explains. And the 25-year-old says she’s also figured out that style isn’t just about looking good. “Dress in what makes you feel good about yourself too,” she says. The California girl isn’t only involved in fashion these days; she just finished up her stint as a guest writer for Forbes and recently announced plans to launch a beauty line based on her popular new website, TheBeautyDepartment (dot) com. She’s also reportedly dating Derek Hough ! Way to go LC!
