Rohan Marley is finally speaking on his breakup with Lauryn Hill . The pair, who had been linked since 1996, have five children together (Lauryn’s baby Micah, born last year, was allegedly fathered by a band member). While the relationship was rumored to have ended abruptly in 2011, details have been vague… and they still kinda are, but Rohan drops some clues in a new interview: In an interview with the UK’s Voice , Rohan confirms (sorta, kinda) why their relationship ended. “As a man, there are certain things I don’t accept, and it just so happened that I didn’t accept certain things [in the relationship]. It doesn’t mean she’s [Hill] a bad person or I’m a bad person. It just didn’t work out.” He continues: “[Our relationship] is good as in… in terms of being a mother and father to our children, it’s good. It’s not as perfect as one might want it to be. It’s just the way the road went.” Rohan has since become engaged to Brazilian supermodel Isabeli Fontana. We guess Isabeli hasn’t brought anything he can’t accept into their situation eh? The full interview is in the print issue of the British magazine… Crazy how they got them on the front talking about “I’ve Moved On… I Wanted To Marry Lauryn But She Wasn’t Ready!” We would have thought she’d be ready after all them kids, but hey we know those artists are kinda weird right? It sounds like this guy expected Lauryn to be cool with him creepin out on their situation but he wasn’t trying to do the same thing! Lauryn Hill Turns Down Oprah’s Invitation For A Sit Down Interview Just when it seemed like there wasn’t anybody that Oprah couldn’t get to dish the deepest details of their lives on national television, Lauryn Hill shut that thought all the way down. In recent months, Oprah Winfrey has landed big interviews with the likes of Lady Gaga, Bobbi Kristina, The Kardashians, and Rihanna as part of her network’s “Next Chapter” series. But one big name viewers aren’t likely to see on the show is Lauryn Hill. On Monday a Twitter follower asked the media maven to “Get Lauryn Hill on your show ASAP.” Winfrey’s response: “Tried. She said no.” Winfrey’s request may have been a little inconvenient for the eight-time Grammy Award winner, who has been dealing with a slew of tax issues with the Internal Revenue Service.
