Christina Aguilera Has Kind Words For Fellow New Talent Judge Britney Spears Powerhouse songstress and “The Voice” talent judge Christina Aguilera says she has no beef with former  pop-princess rival Britney Spears and welcomes her to the wonderful world of talent scouting. Christina Aguilera and Britney Spears came up together on “The Mickey Mouse Club” before each found fame and fortune in the late ’90s as rival pop princesses. Now, they find themselves on rival singing competition shows. But if you expect the claws to come out, these days Aguilera is keeping hers firmly retracted. “I’m not down with [pitting women against women] at this point of my life,” “The Voice” judge told Parade.com about Spears’ spot on the “X Factor.” “I have no patience for it, so I’m like, ‘the more the merrier.’ It’s a fun thing to be a part of and I think she’ll have fun with it.” In fact, Aguilera only had the kindest words for her fellow Mouseketeer, sharing that she thinks that her one-time adversary “is a pro” and that she will “give great advice.” “Our paths have always crossed and they will continue to cross,” Aguilera added. “I welcome her to this family of fun and entertainment and finding talent as well.” Awwww, how sweet. The rapper/signer/actress owed the government $1.8 million and they want their money ASAP! For whatever reason, Ms. Hill’s mugshot was not released…until now. There’s a New Kid on the Block and her name is RaVaughn . You may have heard her hit single, Same Ol’ BS , on the Think Like A Man Movie Soundtrack earlier this year. The NE-YO protege was recently signed to Compound University/Columbia Records. RaVaughn and Roc Nation protege Rita Ora, were spotted together hanging out at Soho House in LA recently Check out the vid for Same Ol’ BS and be sure to keep Ms. RaVaughn on the radar. Currently working on her debut album, RaVaughn has worked with NE-YO, The Dream, Babyface, Rock City, & Jerry Wonder…just to name a few. When asked about her upcoming album, RaVaughn had this to say: I would definitely have to say that it’s R&B driven. I think my records tell a story that everyone can relate to or has someone close to them that can relate. I want to get back to when music was really talking about something meaningful, like Mary J. Looks like Lauryn Hill’s baby daddy may not be walking down the aisle as soon as he would have hoped Sources say that Rohan Marley and Isabeli Fontana have postponed their wedding. Isabeli Fontana decided not to marry Rohan Marley, son of Bobby Marley. But fans of the couple need not worry, no. They’re still in love. The Brazilian model will only postpone the ceremony because she says the two are in an intimate and romantic moment and do not want to interrupt the sound stage. But there is another fact that might explain the decision of the top. The children of Isabeli, Zion, age 9, and Luke, 6, do not yet know the children of Rohan. Although the model and singer trying to promote the meeting, the heirs of the beautiful are not wanting a lot of contact with the new family. She said the boys just want to stay with friends. Whenever the nuptials do happen, Isabeli revealed, they will take place in birthplace of the Rastafarian movement (Ethiopia). She said, “He wants to get married there—it’s a way of life, it’s about taking care of your body, your soul, your experience.” And of her dress, she revealed, “I talked to Dolce about it already and they are going to do my dress, inspired by Sophia Loren, of course.” Maybe Rohan, who has a basketball team full of kids with Lauryn Hill, is also going to take some time to help Lauryn deal with her current tax and IRS woes. Lauryn Hill Pleads Guilty, Faces Years in Prison For Failure to Pay Taxes

Singer Lauryn Hill just pleaded guilty to a federal crime , admitting she did not file several years’ worth of tax returns in the past decade, and failed to do so on purpose no less. The 37-year-old faces up to three years in prison as a result. Hill failed to pay up in 2005, 2006, and 2007, when she earned more than $1.8 million. When the judge asked if Hill “intentionally and willingly” failed to file the returns, she said simply, “Yes.” The Fugees frontwoman was released on $150,000 bail. In addition to the three years behind bars, Hill could be hit with $75,000 in fines. Wonder if she can write that off to help reduce her tax liability for 2012. Hill welcomed her sixth child in 2011; her first five were with her longtime partner Rohan Marley. Her sentencing hearing is set for November. [Photo: WENN.com]

Britney Spears, Demi Lovato Walk Off During ‘X Factor’ Audition

Sources say judges ‘didn’t want to waste their time’ with lousy contestant in Kansas City. By Jocelyn Vena Britney Spears at “The X-Factor” auditions in Kansas City Photo: WireImage One “X Factor” contestant learned what happens when you attempt to pull a fast one on the judges. Over the weekend, while , Demi Lovato , L.A. Reid and seat-filling judge Louis Walsh (who was assisting an ill Simon Cowell) were in Kansas City, they walked out on one contestant who attempted to audition with his back to the judges. According to People.com sources, not only did the contestant audition with his back to the panel, but he also wasn’t all that talented of a singer, adding insult to injury. “It was really awkward,” an eyewitness told the site of the kooky audition. “You could tell the judges were done. I don’t think they had a choice. They didn’t want to waste their time.” Another onlooker added that the male contestant didn’t leave the judges much of an option given his lack of talent. “He was one of the worst singers and had a bad attitude … [The judges] all hated it and walked off,” the source said. Additionally, he had no idea they had walked out since his back was to them for his entire performance. Everyone except Britney eventually made their way back to the judges’ table to hear the last contestant. Spears’ absence was met with the audience chanting, “Where’s Britney?” However, she was only gone for a short time, as she returned later on for another batch of contestants. Spears and Lovato made their debut as “X Factor” judges in late May , weeks after Cowell and Reid appeared at the Fox upfront alongside the singers to announce them as additions to the show. “Just really being able to be there and inspire the other contestants … they’re so young and they’re trying to fulfill their dreams,” Spears said at the event. “It’s just a whole beautiful concept. Lauryn Hill Explains Failure To File Taxes In Statement

Savenok/ Getty Images There’s a reason Lauryn Hill failed to file her taxes , whether it is a legally sound reason will be up to the courts to decide. The former Fugee released a statement on her tumblr on Friday, just a day after she was charged by the government. “For the past several years, I have remained what others would consider underground,” she wrote. “I did this in order to build a community of people, like-minded in their desire for freedom and the right to pursue their goals and lives without being manipulated and controlled by a media protected military industrial complex with a completely different agenda.” Hill said that she was taken advantage of as an artist, and she withdrew from the mainstream in order to wean herself and her family from a lifestyle “that required distortion and compromise as a means for maintaining it.” Hill rid herself of people she says she couldn’t trust and sought to be freed from the confines that she’s seen in the commercialization of music and art. The IRS estimates that the singer has earned more than $1.6 million in income cumulatively in 2005, 2006 and 2007 and failed to file in each of those years. If found guilty, she could face up to three years in prison and a $300,000 fine. Hill contends that her actions were a means of survival for her and her family. “Obviously, the danger I faced was not accepted as reasonable grounds for deferring my tax payments, as authorities, who despite being told all of this, still chose to pursue action against me, as opposed to finding an alternative solution,” she said in the statement. “My intention has always been to get this situation rectified. When I was working consistently without being affected by the interferences mentioned above, I filed and paid my taxes,” she continued. “This only stopped when it was necessary to withdraw from society, in order to guarantee the safety and well-being of myself and my family.” Hill is scheduled to appear in court on June 29.
