Live – Lindsay Shows Up for Depo … Or Doesn’t
Heather Locklear was arrested for hit-and-run Saturday, according to TMZ, following a crash near North Ranch Country Club in Westlake Village, Calif. Deputies went to look at the area and found a knocked over “no parking” sign and obvious signs that a car that went up the curb, drilling the sign. The police confirmed through investigation that the car in question was Locklear’s black BMW, and the collision was very close to Heather’s home. Officials then went to Locklear’s home, saw damage to the BMW consistent with the collision, and arrested the 48-year-old star for hit and run. That’s worse than the beating she took in the Melrose Place season finale ! Heather Locklear may valet her car permanently if she keeps racking up the traffic offenses, although the actress was merely cited and released for this one. In ’08, Locklear was arrested in Santa Barbara for allegedly driving under the influence of prescription medications. She pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor charge of reckless driving and was placed on three years probation. This scary mug shot was among the things resulting from that. The latest incident could be a probation violation. Stay tuned.

Earlier today, we reported that a pair of women have stepped up and added their names to the lawsuit Kayden Nguyen has filed against Steven Seagal. We can now identify one of these females as Blair Robinson, the granddaughter of legendary singer Ray Charles. According to TMZ, Robinson first met Seagal at her Charles’ funeral in 2004. Innocent enough, right? It gets a lot shadier from there… Following the funeral, Robinson claims she was invited to the actor’s residence to discuss a job opportunity. Too bad she didn’t have Kayden Nguyen to warn her about what might happen next. In her sworn declaration, Blair says she accepted an offer as Seagal’s assistant. On her very first day of work, the actor reportedly came to her room; said she was required to give him massages; and then offered to teach her the proper method for these acts. “It became clear to me that he wanted and expected sexual favors as part of my job duties,” Blair alleges in the documents, adding that she quit after the first day. Seagal’s attorney denies these claims. But if any of these allegations are true, Steven Seagal: Lawman becomes an even more far-fetched show than Keeping Up with the Kardashians .

And he certainly doesn’t appreciate people stepping on his enterprise. That explains why, according to The Associated Press, Jay and one of his business partners filed suit on Thursday in Manhattan Federal Court against Boston Red Sox slugger David Ortiz, claiming that a nightclub opened by Big Papi in his native Dominican Republic infringes on Jay’s 40/40 club concept. The $5 million suit accuses Ortiz of naming his Santo Domingo club Forty-Forty — a reference to 40 home runs and 40 stolen bases — in the hopes of drafting off the popularity of the chain of 40/40 clubs owned by Jay in New York, Las Vegas, Chicago, Tokyo, Macau and Atlantic City. (Ortiz has stolen only 10 bases in his career and is not a member of the elite 40/40 club of baseball players.) “David Ortiz is fully aware of Plaintiff’s Manhattan 40/40 club, since he had been a patron there on several occasions before he opened his infringing Forty/Forty club,” the lawsuit states about the slugger, who often comes to bat to the strains of Jay’s “Hey Papi.” The suit is seeking $5 million in damages and asks for Ortiz to stop using the 40/40 name. The New York Daily News quoted Jay’s lawyer, Peter Raymond, saying that the similarly named clubs are not a mere coincidence. “David Ortiz was at the club at least twice, and certainly knew of it,” Raymond said. The suit claims Ortiz visited Jay’s club when the Red Sox were in town to play the Yankees and was there during the All-Star Game celebration as well. Nicollette Sheridan says she felt compelled to bring a lawsuit against Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry, following an incident last year in which the actress says her boss struck her across the face. Now, Sheridan’s former co-workers feel equally compelled to stand up for Cherry. The main Desperate Housewives cast members – Eva Longoria Parker, Teri Hatcher, Marcia Cross and Felicity Huffman – have issued a joint statement that pledges full support for Cherry. It reads: “It would be irresponsible of us to let the public believe that being a part of this show from its inception has been anything but a blessing. We have no first-hand knowledge of what Nicollette may or may not have experienced, but we would never characterize our set as a hostile environment. “It is, in fact, the opposite. The friendships and support that Marc Cherry, the cast, the crew and the producers have shared for the past six years have made this a wonderful job that we are grateful for every day.” Because Teri Hatcher was singled out in the lawsuit – Sheridan alleges Cherry said he hopes Hatcher “gets hit by a car and dies” – that actress says she never authorized Sheridan’s attorneys to use her name and: “While my adoration and respect for the classic and dynamic chemistry of the characters of Susan and Edie is indelible, I’m honored to stand with Eva, Felicity and Marcia, as a group and clarify that our set environment is nothing less than an amazingly positive experience. I have never felt discriminated against. In fact, I have felt heard and respected by Marc and other executives in regards to both my professional and personal needs.” Man, no Desperate Housewives spoilers or storylines can compare to the drama taking place away from the set of this hit show.
