Shellie Zimmerman, George Zimmerman’s Wife, Files For Divorce

Shellie Zimmerman filed divorce papers Thursday to end her marriage to George Zimmerman, the infamous killer of Trayvon Martin who was acquitted in July. George Zimmerman’s Wife Files For Divorce “The documents have been received by the Seminole County clerks” in Florida, said her lawyer, Kelly Sims, in response to a Tweet by George’s brother. Robert Zimmerman wrote, “According to Shellie’s atty Kelly Sims – Shellie is preparing to file 4 divorce. Docs have not yet been filed in Seminole Cty. Pray 4 them.” Shellie Zimmerman , a 26-year-old nurse, pleaded guilty to perjury August 28 for lying about the family’s finances during one of George’s pre-trial hearings. She was sentenced to a year’s probation and 100 hours’ community service. In an interview with ABC News, she hinted that a divorce might be in the works. “It’s difficult to communicate with your spouse when you’re under so much scrutiny from both sides,” she lamented of her problems as well as George’s. “I think that we both have been fighting for our own individual struggles to be heard by each other, and it’s been difficult,” Zimmerman added. Saying the couple had been living “like gypsies” ever since her husband was arrested, she added: “It got very crazy. living with bodyguards.” “It kind of feels like you’re with a babysitter. You really can’t make any choices for yourself anymore. … We were in hiding. We were in the woods.” George Zimmerman has not publicly responded to the divorce filing or commented on anything since he was found not guilty of second-degree murder. He’s been seen twice, emerging from hiding to help a family out of an overturned SUV and was caught speeding in Texas and let off with a warning.

If Shapiro can get OJ off, this should be a breeze OJ Lawyer Robert Shapiro Will Rep Lamar Odom In His DUI Case According to TMZ reports : Lamar Odom needs some legal firepower after his DUI arrest, and its OJ Simpson’s lawyer Robert Shapiro to the rescue … TMZ has learned. Lamar has hired Shapiro in what promises to be a sticky situation. TMZ broke the story … Lamar was popped early Friday AM on the 101 Freeway … and cops believe he was under the influence of both drugs and booze. Shapiro is known for plea bargaining. These cases are pretty standard — he’ll probably plead no contest to one count of DUI and get probation. He’ll also be required to attend an alcohol ed class. And, since he refused to submit to a blood-alcohol test, he’ll automatically get his driver’s license yanked for 1 year. No getting around that. This has Kris Jenner’s paw prints all over it. She’s used Shapiro for other legal messes in the past — most recently Robert Kardashian Jr.’s criminal battery and theft case. Ironically, Kris’ ex-hubby, the late Robert Kardashian, repped OJ Simpson along with Shapiro. Kris was best friends with Nicole Brown Simpson and felt OJ was guilty as sin. You big dummy. Police Detective Sues Ryan Leslie Diddy stole his girl then he finds a new girl, breaks up with her and then gets sued for a song he made about her. Damn. According to Mail Online Rapper Ryan Leslie is being sued by a New York Police Department detective for using the cop’s voice in a break-up song about his supermodel ex-girlfriend without permission. Australian bombshell Nicole Trunfio called the police on the musician in 2011 after he allegedly refused to stop calling her or knocking on her door. Detective Luis Mortimer followed up the complaint, leaving a voicemail on Leslie’s phone asking him or his lawyer to return his call. A year later, his message was being broadcast across the world in Leslie’s rap song ‘Joan of Arc.’ Now Mortimer is now taking Leslie to court after, claiming his career was damaged by the hip-hopper’s tune, which ends with the 15-year police veteran’s voicemail. According to The New York Post the jilted rapper was never arrested but he still claimed in the song to have been thrown in a holding cell for ‘messin’ wit pretty females.’ Other lines in the song include: ‘I wake up to detec’ messages in my e-mail,’and ‘since when a birthday gift is harassment/a rose gold bracelet nothing subliminal/You called your lawyer up said my actions were criminal. Girls play the victim so well — Joan of Arc.’ Mortimer only learned of his starring role a few months ago, when he started getting calls about it. ‘The song has caused him embarrassment and has damaged his credibility as a detective,’ his lawyer, Monica Kipiniak, told The Post. Mortimer claims Leslie’s unauthorized use of his voice is exploitation and violates his civil rights. He is seeking unspecified damages in a lawsuit filed with the Manhattan Supreme Court last week. In 2010, Leslie reneged on a $1 million reward he offered for the safe return of his missing laptop. The computer was found by a German man walking his dog. It appears nobody taught him about clearing a sample of somebody’s voice before using it in a song. Time to pay up. Getty

Kanye is having a G.O.O.D. day. Kanye West Will Not Face Felony Charges For LAX Attack Looks like Kanye is in the clear with this one, but dude needs anger management ASAP. According to Los Angeles Times Rapper Kanye West won’t face any felony charges over his altercation with a photographer at Los Angeles International Airport. The Los Angeles County district attorney’s office on Friday declined to file felony assault and attempted robbery charges against the singer and referred the issue to the L.A. city attorney to see if the incident warranted a misdemeanor charge. West, who has long maintained a hostile stance toward paparazzi and even rapped about his contempt for the media, was captured on video July 19 wrestling the photographer to the ground. Deputy Dist. Atty Amy-Hannah Broersma wrote that West and “attacked a freelance photographer” who was subsequently treated for contusion and muscle strain at Marina del Rey Hospital. She wrote that the case was declined after investigators from the LAPD’s Robbery-Homicide Division presented the case and a video of the incident was reviewed. The prosecutor said an attempted robbery charged was declined because there was insufficient evidence of any “specific intent.” She added that felony assault charges were rejected because the victim did not sustain significant injuries. The prosecutor noted the victim’s camera was not booked into evidence and “it is unknown whether it was damaged, therefore vandalism charges were not considered.” The singer’s lawyer has insisted that West was simply trying to stop the photographer from taking a picture. A video shows West emerging from the airport and heading toward a waiting car. He then stops and appears to get into an argument with one of numerous photographers on scene. The video, obtained by TMZ, shows West grabbing the photographer. He appears to have the photographer in a headlock as he forces him to the ground. While a camera is between the pair, his lawyer told authorities the video shows he never grabbed it. As long as Kanye has his hands full with North…..the world is safe.

The doctors are not letting this danger to society out. Amanda Bynes Loses Bid For Freedom They need to hold her azz for as long as they can….no one wants to see her burn her dog alive. According to TMZ Amanda Bynes was just shut down in her bid to leave the psychiatric hospital where she has been held against her will for more than a week … TMZ has learned. Amanda appeared before a judge in the psych ward, as her lawyer argued there was no legal basis to hold her for the two additional weeks … sources familiar with the situation tell TMZ. We broke the story … Amanda was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold 10 days ago after starting a fire in the driveway of a home near L.A. The hold lasted 3 days, and then doctors stepped in and got a judge to extend the hold for 2 additional weeks so they could properly diagnose her. Our sources say Amanda’s lawyer argued at today’s hearing the actress was capable of caring for herself and she was not a danger to others. As we reported, Amanda is actually doing a lot better since doctors have started giving her a cocktail of meds. We’re told there are clear signs Amanda is schizophrenic. In the end the judge agreed with the doctors, that Amanda needed to stay in the hospital because her mental situation is still precarious. Amanda does not acknowledge she has a mental illness, and doctors believe there’s more than a good chance she would not take the meds that have stabilized her if she’s out on her own. All those voices she heard should have told her not to wear those horrible blonde wigs anymore.

Beth Chapman Arrest Warrant Issued Over "Coarse Language"

Dog the Bounty Hunter’s wife Beth Chapman apparently found herself on the other side of the law after a bizarre incident this week in Colorado. While fishing with her husband and kids, a teenager in a car sped past. Chapman yelled at the teen, calling her a tramp, a slut and a whore. Beth then reportedly called 911, alleging that someone who was with the teenage driver was carrying a gun. Police arrived, but the Chapmans had left. However, because it’s illegal to taunt someone with “coarse language” in Colorado, the teenager filed a criminal harassment complaint against Chapman. Police attempted to notify Beth Chapman to pick up the summons, but she reportedly did not show up, at which point they issued an arrest warrant. Yes, Colorado legalized marijuana , but you can’t call someone a tramp. According to news reports, her lawyer has reportedly been in contact with local authorities to arrange the logistics of Dog’s wife turning herself in. We’d watch out if we were these crazy-driving teens.

According to one source, Kim Kardashian loves Absolutely Fabulous . And according to another, the first-time parent has similar thoughts about Amanda Bynes. During a talk sow segment with Ryan Seacrest Thursday, Kris Jenner said of her daughter: “She’s obsessed with [Bynes] and really wants her to be fabulous and get well.” Kris Jenner Talks Amanda Bynes Bynes, of course, is a long way from well. She’s been hospitalized for major mental issues and has requested a hearing to get out of the psych ward . Seacrest compared the situation to the troubles Britney Spears went through many years ago, while both he and Jenner agreed that it’s all about who you are surrounded by. “This is something that, for me as a mom, makes me very sad, but happy that she’s getting perhaps the help that she needs for one reason or another,” Kris said. “I like to look at the glass half full. And so I’m really glad that, whatever’s going on, this would be the start of a new beginning for her.” In somewhat related news, Jenner’s talk show is abysmal.

Amanda Bynes: Paranoid and Bleeding Money, But Now on Medication

The legal saga surrounding Amanda Bynes’ mental illness continues as she canceled a hearing that she requested Friday, saying she needs time for meds to kick in. Bynes initially wanted an emergency hearing at the psychiatric hospital where she’s being treated, arguing that she’s being held illegally against her will. A judge decided Thursday that the 5150 psychiatric hold keeping her there – usually capped at 72 hours – would be extended another two weeks. She wanted to challenge that ruling, but eventually concurred with her attorney that they had no new case, and asked for a hearing on August 1. The 27-year-old and her lawyer believe the medication she’s now on will improve her condition and allow her to make a stronger case for freedom. Bynes clearly doesn’t want to be in the psychiatric ward or under a legal conservatorship run by her parents, which they have already requested. She’s being kept in the hospital regardless, however, because she is deemed a danger to herself and/or others, but the meds could be a positive step. Up until now, she’s refused to grasp (or at least acknowledge) that she even has a problem, so perhaps she has seen the light … time will tell. In any case, Amanda Bynes’ parents are trying to set up a conservatorship that would give them control of her medical, financial and legal affairs. Her parents believe this is essential to save her from herself, as she is a substance abuser who is paranoid, delusional and draining her bank account. In court documents, they say she has become “extremely paranoid about being watched,” covering smoke alarms with towels and taping windows shut. They note, as Twitter users know well, that she has “profound body image issues” and is “obsessed with the fact that she (and others) are ugly .” The star has at least $4 million in the bank, according to her mom and dad, but has also blown $1.2 million in very little time. On what, it’s unclear. Rick and Lynn Bynes think she spends “a substantial amount” on weed and other illegal substances, but the missing cash is unaccounted for. Amanda also told them she “cabbed it” from New York to L.A. after being kicked out of her hotel there, and her parents believe she is now homeless. The court denied their petition for a conservatorship Friday, but only temporarily. With Bynes still in the hospital, the judge wanted more time to rule.
