With Corbin Bleu on Broadway, Zac Efron starring in Charlie St. Cloud and Vanessa Hudgens going bad ass , Disney is in need of a new set of young stars. Enter Bridgit Mendler and Adam Hicks. These actors have been cast in Lemonade Mouth , an 2011 Disney Channel film that follows a quintet of high school students who meet in detention and form a band. Mendler, who stars in Good Luck Charlie , will take on the role of lead vocalist Olivia White; while Hicks (Zeke and Luther) portrays keyboardist Wen Giford. Bridgit Mendler and Adam Hicks : The next Zanessa? Other names rounding out the cast include: Tisha Campbell-Martin, Christopher McDonald, Nick Roux, Chris Brochu, Naomi Scott, Blake Michael and Hayley Kiyoko. The movie is based on the book Lemonade Mouth by Mark Peter Hughes. Keep all these names in mind. You’ll likely hear a lot more from them in the future.

Bret Michaels now stable after brain hemorrhage

American singer Bret Michaels, lead vocalist of the glam metal band Poison, was rushed to the hospital on April 22 after experiencing extreme headaches.  It was discovered that the headaches are caused by a massive subarachnoid hemorrhage which is bleeding at the base of his brain stem. Ten days prior, Michaels, who celebrated his 47th birthday in March, was also rushed to the hospital for an emergency appendectomy. Prior to this, he was reported to be in good health. Michaels also suffers from type 1 diabetes. As of today, TMZ reports that he is said to be “awake, in good spirits and talking”, but his condition will be monitored for the next 24 to 48 hours as tests are still being done to confirm the cause of the hemorrhage. Axl Rose of Guns N’ Roses Sued Almost $2M In Unpaid Commission

Axl Rose, lead vocalist of a hard rock band Guns N’ Roses,  is being sued by a famous music manager who claims that Rose owes him almost $2 million in unpaid commissions. Irving Azoff, founded the Front Line Management,  and chairman and founder of Azoff Music Management Group, Inc. In late 2008, he became Chairman and CEO of Ticketmaster Entertainment,sued Rose in Los Angeles on Thursday for nearly $1.9 million in unpaid fees. The company claims it had an verbal agreement with Rose to receive 15 percent of the Guns N’ Roses’ frontman’s commissions. The lawsuit states the commissions are due on more than $12 million in earnings Rose made for performances abroad. Attempts to reach Rose’s current management were unsuccessful.
