Sports Illustrated looked back on 22 years of Major League by interviewing nearly everyone involved in the making of the sports classic with one notable exception: the incarcerated Wesley Snipes . Not that he would have wanted to contribute anyway. “A couple years after Major League I saw Wesley,” recalled co-star Corbin Bernsen. “I said, “Hey, man, they’re gonna make Major League II !” And he was like, ‘You’re gonna do that?’ And I thought, ‘Wow, how quickly they forget.’ He’d become Wesley Snipes. FACT: LeBron James has played the last two games of the NBA Finals like someone scared of the big moment. FICTION: The Miami Heat star has been distracted on the court because Rashard Lewis, an overpaid member of the Washington Wizards, had sex with LeBron’s girlfriend, Savannah Brinson. Lewis called in to a radio show soon after this rumor spread online and did all he could to put it to rest. The power forward said he’s never met Brinson and would never do that to a fellow NBA player… Rashard Lewis Radio Interview The news should not come as a surprise, really. Lewis can barely score on the court these days – his 11.7 points per game in 2010-2011 were his lowest output since his first full season in the league – so it’s hard to imagine him scoring with LeBron’s woman.
