Ray Donovan actor Pooch Hall has been charged with DUI and child abuse since his 2-year-old was with him when he crashed his car. Reports TMZ : TMZ broke the story … Hall was arrested earlier this month in Burbank after a witness saw him driving with his toddler in his lap, holding the steering wheel. The boy was not strapped in — in fact, the child car seat was sitting unattached in the back seat. The car veered off and smashed into a parked car. Remarkably … no one was injured, although the child dissolved into tears. Hall blew a .25 … more than 3 times the legal limit. Hall now faces a maximum of 6 years and 6 months in prison. Photo by Bob Levey/Getty Images Alex Rodriguez Is Trying To Get His Child Support Payments Way Down Alex Rodriguez is trying to chop his child support payments to his ex-wife down drastically, saying that he makes way less money now that he’s out of his Yankees pinstripes. Another reason, according to a new report, she’s got plenty of cash in the bank already. The former third baseman has been working to duke it out with Cynthia Scurtis for months over his $115,000-a-month tax-free child and spousal support payments, according to reports from TMZ on Tuesday. The couple have two daughters together — Natasha, 13, and Ella, 10 — and got a divorce back in 2008. Sources told the site that their support agreement was always supposed to be revised once A-Rod retired from his team in 2016, so this shouldn’t be a surprise for Rodriguez’s ex-wife. A-Rod claims that he now earns 90 percent less income — going from $30 million a year when he was still playing ball, to about $3 million a year, TMZ reports. Now, he is still willing to cough up $20,000 a month for his two little girls, including tuition, even though their expenses are only somewhere between $7,000 and $12,000 a month. But apparently, that’s not good enough for Scurtis, who wants that number to be closer to $50,000 every month. The 43-year-old former ball player is arguing that Scurtis is wealthy herself and has millions in the bank, along with three homes and multiple cars. She also has a new child and fiance whom he feels like he’s also supporting with his payments. Rodriguez also says that despite having a master’s degree in psychology, she chooses not to work. Back in April, Rodriguez ripped a report that claimed he was threatening to slash his child support payments over his legal battle over a real estate partnership with Scurtis’ brother, Constantine. “I have always paid far more than the maximum in child support and that will never change,” Rodriguez told Page Six . Neither A-Rod nor his ex-wife have commented on the reports.
Bill Cosby is in prison at last. But he doesn’t intend to stay that way. While Cosby furious compares #MeToo literal terrorists , he has saved some of that anger for his attorneys. He’s reportedly fired one of his lawyers RadarOnline reports that Bill Cosby has fired attorney Joseph Green from his legal team. Green was the lawyer who represented him during the sentencing process. Cosby is said to have made this decision while “in a fit of rage.” “He’s had it,” an insider tells the tabloid about why Cosby chose dismissal. The disgraced former comedian apparently believes that he can find other, more capable attorneys end his incarceration. Court documents suggest that Cosby has hired two new lawyers out of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania to assist with his appeals. Cosby is said to have referred to his own legally blind status when using a common turn of phrase. “Mr. Cosby said he can’t have the ‘blind leading the blind,’” the source reports. “And” as a result, the source says, he “told Mr. Green to take a hike over the phone.” So what brought on this termination? Apparently, Cosby wasn’t satisfied with Green’s work ethic. The source explains that Cosby gave Green the boot “when he found out he wasn’t working around the clock to get him out.” “Mr. Cosby told his legal team that the Pennsylvania groundhog could’ve done a better job,” the insider says. Cosby, whose net worth has been estimated to be in the hundreds of millions, is hoping that his fortune can provide an incentive for other attorneys. “He’s offering $250,000.00, cash,” the source claims. This alleged offer is available “to anyone who guarantees his freedom and follows through.” To be clear, we don’t think that Cosby means a literal jailbreak. He wants to walk out a free man, not a fugitive. In April, Cosby was found guilty of three counts of aggravated indecent. This was in the case of the drugging and sexual assault of Andrea Constand. In September, he was sentenced to 3-to-10 years in prison. It seems unfortunately likely that Constand is the only one of Cosby’s accusers who will get justice in court. Some may find a measure of consolation in the knowledge that Cosby may live the rest of his life behind bars. Cosby has apparently been complaining that this is all a miscarriage of justice. In fact, he is reportedly pushing to have his conviction and sentence thrown out . And he wants the judge out, too. This sounds like a standard appeal to our admittedly not-legal-expert ears. Camille Cosby, who has stood by him through all of this, is said to be approaching things from a different angle. She apparently wants the judge investigated for “misconduct.” Which is very vague and unlikely to go the way that she wants. Even if Bill Cosby finds the most shrewd up-and-coming attorney who manages to find loopholes within loopholes and get him out … it’ll take a while. The wheels of justice are slow . Andrea Constand waited 14 years for this conviction. Appeals can take years. Just look at Cosby’s fellow disgraced public figure, Jared Fogle. That guy is still filing appeals from behind bars. The Real Housewives of New Jersey personality is serving time for financial fraud and will be deported in a few months because he never actually became a U.S. citizen. This is a common legal decision in the case of an immigrant who commits a felony. To be frank, it’s just not one you see play out very often for white collar crime. It’s also not one you see play out every often in front of the entire celebrity gossip world; folks who have been invested in Joe and Teresa since they first appeared on Bravo. The reality star couple in simpler, happier times. [Getty Images] In the wake of Joe’s sentencing, there has been plenty of speculation regarding Teresa’s reaction. Is she angry over it? Sad over it? Actually relieved because now she has an excuse to divorce Joe ? We haven’t been able to say for certain because Teresa hasn’t spoken out about the legal ruling. Until now, that is. Sort of. The veteran reality star – who spent close to a year in prison herself for this same bankruptcy-related crime – took to Instagram over the weekend and shared the above meme. It features the Statue of Liberty with her face in her hands, presumably crying over the fate of Joe Giudice. How moving and profound, right? The Statue of Liberty is a symbol of immigration in the United States and Teresa captioned the Instagram image with a series of praying hand emojis. If God is listening, Teresa really wants Him to get involved here. Oldest daughter Gia, meanwhile, has made multiple pleas for her father to get a break here . She thinks Joe is being unfairly targeted because he’s Italian, which, well… it’s a take, we suppose. Gia, who is only 17 and who we do feel horribly for in light of this decision, has also shared the throwback photo above. She has included with it an emotional caption that reads: This is one of my favorite pictures of me and my dad. my father is no threat to society he is one of the most warm hearted people I know, he would never harm a soul. He puts everyone else before himself. Does he, though? Joe and Milania Giudice in 2016, before he began serving a 41-month sentence. [Instagram] Gia continued: I know who my father is and I think many of you do too. My father did his time and learned from his mistakes. Isn’t being in there supposed to make you realize your mistakes so you can become a better person? And that’s exactly what my father did. He hasn’t felt or looked this good since he was in his 30’s. KOONYE Kanye made everyone cringe today during a 10-minute rant where he called Trump a “father-figure”, said his MAGA hat made him feel like a superhero and added that he supports Trump implementing stop and frisk in Chicago. Mind you the meeting was actually supposed to be about criminal justice reform. Here are some of Kanye’s most trifling quotes as compiled by NBC News: On voting for Trump: “My dad and my mom separated so there was not a lot of male energy in my home and also I’m married to a family where, you know, there’s not a lot of male energy. The Blast reports : The incident happened back in August, when Niya Rucker claims she was attacked by the “Set Trippin” rapper and an accomplice after they thought she was recording video of them while eating at the Good Stuff Diner in NYC. Casanova, who is currently signed to Roc Nation, turned himself into authorities shortly after a warrant was issued, but his legal team claimed the woman fabricated the story for the media for financial gain. On Wednesday, the rapper was indicted on charges of robbery and coercion. His alleged accomplice, Bobby Williams, was charged with strangulation. According to the indictment by the NY District Attorney, Casanova allegedly “forcibly stole property” and then instilled fear in the victim.
