Another Woman Sues Usher Over Herpes Exposure Another woman has come forward claiming Usher exposed her to an STI without notifying her . TMZ reports that a woman that slept with the crooner earlier this year claims she had no idea that she was being exposed to herpes when she agreed to have unprotected sex with him. Mind you, Usher has been married to Grace Miguel for nearly two years …but we digress. According to the side chick , who goes by Jane Doe in her legal docs, she and Usher linked up on April 16 at her Atlanta home. At that point, they got frisky, she performed oral sex, and they had intercourse — protected that time around. 12 days later, she met up with Usher at a New Orleans hotel room, and the two got down to it again. However this time, Usher opted to skip the condoms. Fast forward to a few days ago, and ‘Jane’ was a bit more shocked than the rest of us to find out that Usher is admittedly infected with Herpes Simplex 2. Now, the woman does NOT say that she’s infected now, but she has concerns about being exposed to the virus. She also says she never would have agreed to intercourse with him had she known. She says Usher owes her $10 million for negligence, battery, and emotional distress. Damn, he only had to pay ONE million to the woman he actually passed it on to. Hmmm…seems like a bit of a money grab to us. Not that Usher isn’t dead wrong for 1. cheating on his wife and 2. not disclosing his status. Mel B Ordered To Pay Stephen Belafonte $40K A Month The judge in Stephen Belafonte and Mel B’s divorce proceedings bought his sob story about being too broke to function, because he just granted his request for emergency spousal support. If you’ll recall, Stephen was asking Mel for around $18k a month to pay for housing, clothes, food, and his cell phone bill. Mel called that amount into serious question due to the fact that it seemed exorbitant and unnecessary. However, according to TMZ the judge granted him over two times that amount — at least for the time being — and actually did Mel a favor, since he could have told her to cough up $15k a month more, based on documents filed. So for now, Mel has to pay Stephen $40,000 a month to make sure that he stays fed and fly until their divorce settlement is final, on top of a one-time payment of $140,000 for his legal fees. SHEESH. You would think that with all Stephen allegedly put Mel through , and the fact that he’s just one man without custody of his children…the amount would be exponentially lower. Chris Brown Ordered Into Domestic Abuse Counseling Looks like the judge in Karrueche Tran’s protection order case didn’t think that simply barring Chris from bothering her any further was enough. On top of the restraining order that Chris and his team attempted to squirm out of , the judge also decided it was best that Chris routinely meet with a specialist about his issues with abusing his partners in serious relationships. According to TMZ , the judge ruled that Breezy has to complete a full year of abuse education through adherence to a 52-week batterer intervention program. Of course, in Chris’ case, these programs never seem to quite stick. He already had to complete one domestic violence counseling course after the whole Rihanna thing, and also did a stint in anger management after violating his probation in that case. And now…we’re here. Plus, seeing as how he’s currently on tour and has made it abundantly clear that he finds the accusations, the legal action and the thought that he needs to be kept away from Karrueche at all very trivial and silly …it will be interesting to see if he manages to complete the program anyway. Time will tell… **UPDATE** So apparently the judge didn’t see fit to sentence Chris to any additional counseling. A court source reported to TMZ that it boiled down to a clerical error in the paperwork. So as long as he leaves Karrueche all the way alone, things will be square with the court and Chris. Every reality series thrives on drama, and Real Housewives is no exception. Real Housewives Of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks is getting her share of drama … but it’s of the courtroom variety. That doesn’t always translate well to reality TV’s ever-present cameras, especially when one of the parties is behind bars. But legal drama is always a treat to follow. Even if we don’t know how much of this can make it onto the small screen. Apollo Nida and Phaedra have a prenup, but we can get to that in a moment because that is its own thing. So, just a few days before the couple got married back in 2009, Apollo and Phaedra signed a prenup. Apparently, in addition to an agreement on how to divide their shared property, the prenup specified that neither of them would receive alimony in the event of a divorce. Sounds simple, right? We don’t have the luxury of looking over their detailed financial histories, but it stands to reason that, when they got married, Apollo was confident that he’d be the one paying alimony if the two of them ever split. The guy’s in prison for money fraud, so he probably believed all sorts of things about wealth. As it turns out, crime doesn’t always pay. Who knew? Well, now TMZ reports that Apollo Nida wants his and Phaedra’s prenup voided . Because of course he does. It sounds like Apollo legal troubles — to put it mildly — have adversely impacted his finances, and like he’s hoping to be supported by his ex, Phaedra. It wasn’t long at all after their marriage that Phaedra was cast on RHOA, and that must have turned their financial situation on its head in the best way. Except, of course, Phaedra’s not interested. Just because she became the breadwinner while his life collapsed doesn’t mean that she owes him a thing, and she wants the prenup upheld. Obviously. We have to talk about prenups themselves, though. Sometimes they’re a great idea — to prevent, like, nightmare universe versions of Cinderella from marrying rich and then filing for divorce in a quick grab for half of somebody’s assets. They’re usually assumed to be legal tools to “protect” husbands from manipulative femme fatales, but that’s because men are generally valued by their success while women are in so many cases still valued by their looks. Isn’t sexism fun? But it looks like those sexist stereotypes and how they must have influenced his own assumptions are coming back to bite Apollo Nida in the you-know-where, because Phaedra’s the one rolling in dough. There’s no sure way to know how this case is going to end — there’s some extra drama around Phaedra spelling Apollo’s name wrong on the prenup , so for the first time ever, your kindergarten teacher’s insistence that correct spelling matters is actually sounding kinda real. But it seems to us that a prenup is a binding contract. Unless it was made under duress or false pretenses, and it doesn’t sound like either of those were the case, shouldn’t it be every bit as ironclad as Phaedra believes it to be? Legal cases can surprise you, though. We may never know the whole story with this messy pair of exes. Maybe if Apollo had spent less time on money fraud and more time working on his relationship with his wife, he wouldn’t need a court battle to enjoy some of her wealth.
Former NFLer & Reality Star Having A Bad Financial Start To 2017 Ex-NFL star Chad Johnson is not having a great month. First, he lost his $3 million mansion to foreclosure, and now a judge has ordered him to cough up child support and legal fees to his alleged baby mama number six, BOSSIP has learned. A Florida woman named Alexia Farquharson hit Chad with a paternity suit earlier this year. Alexia demanded the court order the ex-NFL star to submit to a DNA test. The woman also wanted Chad to cough up monthly child support and for him to cover her legal bills for having to file the paternity case. Chad has yet to respond to the allegations in court. He was served with the papers on May 1st. Then a hearing was held on May 8th. where the judge heard Alexia’s motion for temporary child support and attorney fees. The judge came back and sided with the baby mama ordering Chad to pay her monthly support during the pregnancy and for him to pay her legal fees for bringing the case. The legal battle could have come at a worse time for the ex-NFL star. He recently lost two of his Florida homes to foreclosure, and his $3 million mansion scheduled to be sold at public auction next month.
