Then again… Bieber is now accused of attacking a limousine driver in his native Canada. So we guess this idea wouldn’t solve all his legal issues. SMH According to TMZ: Call him the artist formerly known as “Plaintiff” … ’cause TMZ has learned Prince has officially DROPPED his $22 MILLION lawsuit against 22 “bootleggers” who allegedly posted footage of his concerts online. Prince has only filed the original lawsuit less than 2 weeks ago … going after 22 anonymous bloggers (for $1 mil-a-piece) who posted concert footage on Facebook and other websites without Prince’s permission. But after news of the lawsuit went public … it only took a few days before Prince decided to end his crusade on the bootleggers. TMZ has obtained legal documents filed in federal court in California to dismiss his lawsuit … but it’s without prejudice, which means he could refile the suit if he feels like it. . A man named Jeris Papaj White is a frustrated father who says that nearly all of his efforts to spend time with his son are rebuffed by his son’s mother. He published a video on Facebook of himself heading to his child’s mother’s house to pick up his son. The video shows the woman openly defying what he says are his legal rights to see his child. He even tells the woman that she is being videotaped. The whole time, his son is watching this go down, stuck between an angry father and a belligerent mother. The mother seems to have an issue with her child’s father that is personal. But does she have the right to take it out on the child? He says that his video shows that there are two sides to the story, and that not every mother wants what’s best for her kids. It’s been quite a long time coming, and barring a reconciliation that feels extremely unlikely before this thing is finalized, it’s over for Khloe and Lamar. He’s been deep in the world of hard drugs and women, and has repeatedly refused interventions and Khloe’s efforts toward getting himself clean. Khloe cites “irreconcilable differences” for the split. As previously reported, the couple has a prenuptial agreement , so division of property will be short and sweet legally, as they kept all their property separate. She is petitioning the court to have Odom removed from as her legal surname, restoring it to just Khloe Kardashian. She’s getting rid of Odom, literally. Khloe is not asking for spousal support from her NBA player husband and wants the judge to reject any bid by Lamar for the same from the reality star. YouTube Co-Founder Fires Back At Kim And Kanye Kim is probably saying, “don’t look at me, it was all Kanye’s idea.” According to TMZ: The billionaire who co-founded YouTube is refusing to back down from Kim Kardashian and Kanye West — firing back at the couple after they sued him for posting video of their engagement online. We broke the story … K&K filed a lawsuit against Chad Hurley, claiming he violated the confidentiality agreement he signed at AT&T Park in San Fran back in October … when he posted the footage on his video-sharing website. But now, Chad has filed legal docs of his own … claiming NO ONE ever told him he wasn’t allowed to shoot or distribute the footage. Chad says … after the proposal, someone did approach him with a waiver and told him it was a release so they could use his image in a TV special .. and he signed the doc without reading it. He also posed for a pic with the signed form, at the request of K&K’s peeps. But still, Chad says he shouldn’t be legally bound by the waiver because he was misled into signing it and he got no compensation in return for signing away his rights. Chad is asking the judge to throw out the case — and force Kim and Kanye to pay for his legal fees. Clearly, Chad can afford it … he’s just trying to send a giant F-you back to the happy couple.
