Angelina Pivarnick Sued For Taj Mahal Mauling

Angelina Pivarnick, formerly of Jersey Shore, is fairly used to being smacked around by JWoww and Snooki. Now she’s been slapped in a different way. With a lawsuit. Ange’s alleged ” violent assault ” on a female clubgoer before a Celebrity Boxing match in New Jersey last month is the reason for the legal fisticuffs. Melissa Mayne claims she was leaving a nightclub at the Trump Taj Mahal Hotel and Casino when she bumped into Angelina … who was on her way to box. Mayne claims Angelina punched her grill , shoved her and threw a glass in her face. She also snatched her phone and threw it across the room. Ouch! She is also going after the hotel, claiming this went down in front of Trump security guards, who did not intervene or “even attempt to stop” Pivarnick. Angelina was likely just trying to remain relevant, given that the Jersey Shore season premiere was the biggest episode yet – sans her annoying a$$. She’s suing Pivarnick, who’s seeking a new reality show , for unspecified damages.

University of Pittsburgh Fires New Head Coach After 17 Days Due To Baby Mama Drama

How you get fired on New Year’s Day, Craig??? Oh, you were choking your baby mama out. Former Miami (Ohio) University coach Mike Haywood was about to seriously come up career-wise, having landed a prestigious position as the head of the University of Pittsburgh football program… even though he was nowhere near as qualified as his predecessors. And then his baby mama stood up against his violent a** and f*cked EVERYBODY’s checks up. Pittsburgh fired football coach Mike Haywood on Saturday, saying he could not continue in the job he held for only 2½ weeks because of his arrest on a domestic violence charge. Haywood was released Saturday from St. Joseph County Jail in Indiana on $1,000 cash bond, said an officer at the jail who declined to give her name, after the charge was upgraded from a misdemeanor to felony domestic battery in the presence of a minor. Within hours of Haywood’s afternoon release, Pittsburgh put out a statement from Chancellor Mark A. Nordenberg, saying Haywood had been dismissed, “effective immediately,” and the school was reopening its search. “To be clear, the university’s decision is not tied to any expectation with respect to the terms on which the legal proceeding now pending in Indiana might ultimately be concluded,” Nordenberg said in the statement. “Instead, it reflects a strong belief that moving forward with Mr. Haywood as our head coach is not possible under the existing circumstances.” Pitt moved swiftly to oust Haywood following an arrest that sullied a university that is proud of its Big Ten-like academics. It also raised questions why Haywood — who had only two seasons as a mid-major head coach, including a one-win season — was chosen Dec. 16 following a brief search. Haywood was arrested about 3 p.m. Friday after a custody issue developed with a woman with whom Haywood has a child, police said. The unidentified woman told police that Haywood grabbed her by the arm and neck and pushed her as she tried to leave the home that Haywood owns in South Bend, Ind., where he once was a Notre Dame assistant. Assistant St. Joseph County Police Chief Bill Redman said the woman had marks on her neck, arms and back. Haywood’s hiring by athletic director Steve Pederson was greeted unenthusiastically by fans, boosters, alumni and students who questioned why a school with annual Top 25 aspirations hired him away from mid-major Miami (Ohio). Dave Wannstedt, forced to resign last month following a disappointing 7-5 season, had coached two NFL teams before his 2004 hiring. “This is a matter of real regret for the many people at Pitt who had looked forward to working with him,” Nordenberg said. “However, head coaches are among the university’s most visible representatives and are expected to maintain high standards of personal conduct and to avoid situations that might reflect negatively on the university.” Pederson emphasized Haywood would be a “role model” for Pitt’s players, most of whom wanted Wannstedt retained following seasons of nine, 10 and seven wins. But Haywood’s introductory press conference, in which he never mentioned the word winning but repeatedly emphasized that his players would be disciplined, dress properly and attend class, was met with a lukewarm response. Oh, so basically they were looking for a reason to fire you, and you handed it to them on a platter. You big dummy. Source

Dr. Conrad Murray’s Defense: Michael Jackson Killed Himself

Prosecutors in the Michael Jackson manslaughter case alluded to the defense Dr. Conrad Murray is likely to use in court – that the singer killed himself. Not on purpose of course, but according to the legal team of the physician on trial for his death, Jackson killed himself with a fatal dose of Propofol. L.A. County Deputy D.A. David Walgren says it’s “clear the defense is operating under the theory that the victim, Michael Jackson, killed himself.” REASONABLE DOUBT? Is Murray’s theory enough to beat the rap? Murray claims he left Michael’s bedroom the day he died (June 25, 2009) to go to the bathroom. MJ awoke and, in a moment of frustration, injected a massive dose of the anesthetic Murray was administering to treat his insomnia. Walgren said of the Dr. Conrad Murray and his lawyers in court, “They don’t want to say it, but that’s the direction in which they are going.” In fact, they don’t want to say anything . At the preliminary hearing, the defense plans on staying silent and letting the D.A. reveal its hand. The defense believes there’s no way this is not going to trial, and as such, will wait to see the prosecution outline its case before it decides how to proceed, using both the above theory and claims that other doctors over-medicated Michael .

2011 Is Almost Here; Are You Looking For A New Job?: 3 Careers That Are Making A Comeback

It’s that time of the year again, yep you guessed it… The End! Majority of you are making your new year’s resolution list and a new job may be at the top of it. We found three careers that are said to make a comeback in 2011: Business, Health Care and Legal and if you’re looking for a change in routine and scenery, this just might be the info that you need. Comeback Career #1 – Business Bob Kelleher, an HR expert for Monster.com, expects businesses to staff up again in 2011. “I am very optimistic that companies will start hiring so they can increase revenue and supplies,” says Kelleher. Comeback Keys: Looking at the bigger picture, Colorado State University’s Martin Shields is optimistic because the gross domestic product – the value of all goods and services produced nationwide – has improved for four straight quarters. If you’ve been applying for jobs in the business world without much success in 2010, don’t despair. “Stay positive and talk enthusiastically about the skills you do have,” says Renick, adding that a temporary or contract position is a great way to get your foot in the door. Training: With companies looking to hire again, make sure your resume is up to date. Taking classes and earning a business certificate or degree is a great way to stay current. Getting an MBA will help for senior-level positions. Freelance consulting gigs are another great way to fill gaps on your resume. [Search for Business schools near you or online] Average Salaries: Office Managers: $45,790 Financial Analysts: $73,150 Marketing Managers: $97,260 Financial Managers: $99,330 Comeback Career #2 – Health Care With regards to job growth, the health care industry is the biggest and fastest growing sector of the economy, according to the U.S. Department of Labor. Comeback Keys: The American Society for Clinical Pathology says there is a “serious shortage” of laboratory personnel in the United States, making qualified job applicants well-positioned for success in 2011. What’s more, jobs like medical assistant, nurse, and phlebotomist are impossible to outsource. Upward mobility is another plus for the health care profession. “A good number of my phlebotomists have worked full time for us and have taken advantage of tuition reimbursement,” Newton Memorial Hospital’s Ruth Pollison told the Philadelphia Inquirer. “They’ve gone on to become nurses, lab technologists or radiologic technologists.” Training: Quick training programs, whether it’s a certificate or associate’s degree, can qualify you for many medical positions. If you start now, you might be ready to start work in 2011! [Search for Nursing and Medical training programs now] Average Salary: Medical Assistants: $28,300 Dental Assistants: $32,380 Laboratory Technicians: $53,500 Registered Nurses: $62,450 Medical Managers: $80,240 Comeback Career #3 – Legal According to staffing firm Robert Half International, the legal industry is expected to see the strongest hiring activity in the fourth quarter of 2010, setting up a rosy outlook for occupations like court reporters and paralegals well into 2011. Comeback Keys: Paralegals, long an indispensable part of a legal team, will see “much faster than average” job growth through 2018, according to the Department of Labor. Since paralegals perform many of the same tasks as lawyers, yet don’t earn as lofty salaries, job security is another real strength. Training: Becoming a paralegal or court reporter can be a quick career transition for many professionals, particularly if you already have a bachelor’s. Certificate programs can last just six months. [Find Paralegal schools near you] Average Salary: Paralegals: $46,120 Court Reporters: $49,710 Source

Woman sues TSA, DHS heads after agent’s "boob" comment

These measures include various checkpoints, 'behaviour pattern analysis,' racial profiling, and discrimination and humiliating treatment of Arabs and blacks with Muslim names, and biometric identification will be rolled out eventually. Adrienne Durso, a resident of California, was selected for an enhanced pat-down after walking through a metal detector at Albuquerque International Sunport airport, according to a lawsuit. Durso, a recent breast cancer survivor, said the TSA security officer forcefully searched the area of her recent mastectomy, leaving her in pain and on the verge of crying. In November, a TSA agent reportedly forced another breast cancer survivor to show her prosthetic breast. Durso's 17-year-old son stood watching as she experienced the pat down. When her son confronted a security supervisor about the incident, asking why his mother had been selected for a pat-down but not him, the supervisor allegedly replied that the son was not selected because “you don't have boobs.” After her experience, Durso joined three other plaintiffs in a lawsuit against Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano and TSA administrator John Pistole. One of the other plaintiffs allegedly received “an invasive and aggressive pat-down of his genitals, presumably due to the fact” that he has an enlarged testicle from an injury he experienced. The other two plaintiffs, a mother and her daughter, claim that while at a security checkpoint TSA agents pulled aside the 12-year-old girl and subjected her to a body scan without the consent of her legal guardians. *** This is a game, and here's how TSA and the federal government are playing YOU: You are purposely being conditioned to hate these TSA humiliating and invasive security measures that have been implemented to protect you from fake Al Qaeda. The reason being is that DHS and TSA will eventually propose an alternative to having American citizens being scanned by naked body scanners and sexually assaulted by people who were barely able to make it through high school. That alternative will be for the federal government to adopt security measures that are already in place in Tel Aviv's El Al airport.
