Jeff Bezos may have founded a company that can offer its customers pretty much anything. But he isn’t about to let his chief rival get away with anything it wants, least of all blackmail. Allow us to explain… The Amazon CEO, who also owns The Washington Post, just shocked the nation by penning a blog post in which he called out The National Enquirer for extortion. But Bezos didn’t merely make a few hollow charges against American Media Inc. and its head executive, David Pecker. He provided explicit proof of the extortion — in the form of emails sent to his attorneys that references X-rated photos of Bezos and his mistress, Lauren Sanchez . The Enquirer was threatening to release these images unless Bezos agreed to have his newspaper tone down its critiques of President Donald Trump and, specifically, its investigation into ties between Trump and Saudi Arabia. “Something unusual happened to me yesterday,” wrote Bezos in his piece on Medium, adding: “I was made an offer I couldn’t refuse. Or at least that’s what the top people at the National Enquirer thought. “I’m glad they thought that, because it emboldened them to put it all in writing. “Rather than capitulate to extortion and blackmail, I’ve decided to publish exactly what they sent me, despite the personal cost and embarrassment they threaten.” From there, Bezos included emails sent to his legal team from The Enquirer. These messages alleged that the tabloid had in its possession, and we quote: – Ms. Sanchez response — a photograph of her smoking a cigar in what appears to be a simulated oral sex scene. – A shirtless Mr. Bezos holding his phone in his left hand — while wearing his wedding ring. He’s wearing either tight black cargo pants or shorts — and his semi-erect manhood is penetrating the zipper of said garment. – A naked selfie in a bathroom — while wearing his wedding ring. Back in January, Bezos announced his separation from his wife of 25 years. A day later, reports spread that lewd pictures and exchanges between Bezos and Sanchez , the woman he had allegedly been seeing, had been obtained by an outlet and might soon be released. Bezos now writes that The Enquirer is the publication that is in possession of these items. “In the AMI letters I’m making public, you will see the precise details of their extortionate proposal,” he says, explaining: “They will publish the personal photos unless… I make the specific false public statement to the press that [The Post has] no knowledge or basis for suggesting that AMI’s coverage was politically motivated or influenced by political forces.” This is a reference to The Washington Post having often reporting that the National Enquirer has either relelased stories – or, in many cases, purchased the rights to stories and then withheld them from the public – due to a cozy relationship with President Trump. The Post has been all over the Trump administration’s ties to Saudi Arabia ever since its journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, was murdered last year by that country’s regime. And Pecker was recently granted immunity in a federal investigation into former Trump attorney Michael Cohen. In exchange, Pecker agreed to provide federal prosecutors information on hush money deals. The Enquirer has admitted to a practice known as “catch and kill,” in which it would pay someone such as a Donald Trump mistress for the exclusive rights to publish her allegations… … only to then NOT publish them. The mistress would then be under contract to never mention these allegations to any other publication. This worked as a method to hide many Donald Trump scandals from the world. No one from AMI has yet responded to Bezos’ bombshell post, which you can read HERE . But it’s hard not to wonder: Did President Trump instruct his good friend, Pecker, to blackmail Bezos (who he openly disdains on Twitter) in this manner in order to try and silence The Washington Post?
We’re all hyped for the newly revealed Alaskan Bush People premiere date , but we don’t have to wait that long for an update. Matt Brown is giving fans updates on social media. And a new report tells us even more about his journey back to sobriety. “Sometimes, all you need is the sea,” Matt Brown captioned a pair of images of himself at the beach. “So beautiful,” he remarked, adding a smiley-face emoticon. Matt Brown has gone through some troubles recently. But, with support from his family, he came out the other side of his 30-day stint in rehab feeling healthier. Now, he has the help of group therapy and a sober coach to keep him on the straight and narrow. Images like these, shared to Instagram, really help to reassure fans that he is doing so much better. Sometimes, however, fans would like more than just some happy photos and to take someone’s word for it. RadarOnline reports on the context of these pics and on how Matt is doing. “Matt went to LA last week because his mother, Ami, was getting her cancer check-up,” the insider shared. Ami overcame considerable odds to beat lung cancer, but regular cancer screenings are now part of her life. The source notes that these are screenings “which she now has to get every three months.” As fans may recall, the Browns own a Beverly Hills mansion where Ami resides when undergoing treatments at the hospital. Ami is not the only member of the Brown family whose health is in question. “Matt is in an outpatient rehab,” the insider says to RadarOnline . That means that he continues to attend therapy for his excessive drinking, but gets to sleep in his own bed. “And,” the source says, Matt is “working with a sober coach again.” It’s wonderful that his family has the resources to help him. Matt is doing his part to let fans know how he’s doing. “He is posting a lot of photos of himself online,” the insider points out. The beach pics are only one recent example. He also likes to photograph birds and insects. “And,” the source notes, Matt has “even started a youtube channel.” YouTube can be a monetization tool, but it can also work wonders for connecting with fans and creative expression. The insider explains that Matt is doing all of this “because he wants to keep his fans updated on his progress” This is great news for two big reasons. First of all, that means that less of a burden falls on Rain’s narrow shoulders. Rain just turned 16 last year, but has been her family’s de facto spokesperson on social media since she was 14. Second of all, regular posts that fans can see can help Matt remain accountable to them and ultimately to himself. Of course, as is sometimes the case, Matt’s decision to recover his sobriety came after some strong encouragement from his loved ones. He had unfortunately had a tense argument with his family and stormed off to live in the desert outside of Palm Springs last year. “Basically, Billy’s threats to cut him off woke him up,” the source says of what drove Matt to seek treatment. According to the insider: “Matt knows that if he messes up again, he will lose it all” “And he also knows that no one really trusts him anymore,” the source adds. Matt does not want to repeat past mistakes. “But he is trying to do things differently this time around,” the insider shares. He fell off the wagon once before. This time, he turned to drinking during the most frightening moments of his mother’s cancer battle. (As is almost always the case, abusing alcohol is a coping mechanism) “And” the source explains. “He wants to show his parents that he can stay clean on his own.” “Matt has reconnected with everyone,” the insider says. So after he emerged from rehab, he set about repairing any damaged or strained relationships brought on by his drinking. “And of course,” the source says. “His siblings are supportive.” The insider concludes: “they just cannot wait to see him back home again.” And neither can fans and viewers. Meg’s pals spoke to People magazine recently so that they could, in their words , “stand up against the global bullying we are seeing and speak the truth about our friend.” “Meg has silently sat back and endured the lies and untruths,” says a woman identified only as “a former costar” of the magazine. “We worry about what this is doing to her and the baby,” adds the costar. “It’s wrong to put anyone under this level of emotional trauma, let alone when they’re pregnant.” Her friends say one of the most distressing parts of the current narrative surrounding Meg is that she’s being painted as some narcissistic diva, when nothing could be further from the truth. “We’ve all been to their cottage,” says someone identified as “a close confidante” “It’s small and she’s made it cozy, but the perception of their lifestyle and the reality are two different things. Meg cooks for herself and Harry every single day. The confidante goes on to say that Meg has friends visit her often, and she always makes them feel right at home. “We had a couple of days together recently. Her husband was out of town on work,” the friend reveals. “In the room she made up for me, there was a candle lit by the bed, slippers and a robe. We were the only two in the house. It was our time. She made the most lovely meals. She made tea every day. “It was raining and muddy outside, so the dogs got all dirty, and she’s wiping them off with towels. “How much she loves her animals, how much she loves her friends, how much she loves feeding you, taking care of you — none of that has changed.” Jeez, what a monster. It’s been over four months since Bill Cosby reported to prison to begin serving a 3-10 year sentence on sexual assault charges. Throughout the lengthy downfall that led to the 81-year-old’s imprisonment, Camille Cosby, Bill’s wife of 55 years, stood by his side. Court reporters were quick to point out, however, that toward the end of Cosby’s trial for the rape of Andrea Constand , the disgraced comic was supported only by his legal team. Insiders now claim that as the evidence mounted, Camille realized that she had been in denial for decades and that Cosby was, in fact, guilty of the horrendous crimes he’d been accused of. Now, Camille is reclaiming her freedom and sending a clear message to her monstrous husband: If you ever get out of that place alive, don’t come looking for me. According to Radar Online, Camille has yet to visit Bill in prison . And sources close to the 74-year-old say she’s soon to deliver a devastating blow by filing for divorce from Bill. “Camille is actively getting advice from several of the top divorce lawyers in the country,” an insider tells Radar Online. “It’s only a matter of time before she files the papers.” The source says Bill was initially in denial about being rejected by Camille. But he began to get the message loud and clear when she refused to visit, answer his phone calls, or in any way acknowledge the couple’s 55th wedding anniversary on January 25. “For every other couple, that would have been a big celebration, but Camille could hardly be bothered to pick up the phone,” the insider says. “She talked to him for four minutes before hanging up. It’s pretty obvious she doesn’t care about him anymore.” And it seems Camille has devised a clever method for dodging Bill’s daily efforts to get in contact with her. “Camille will swim in their pool in the morning right before breakfast, again before lunch and then a third time before bed,” the insider claims. “Those are the exact times that Bill has phone privileges.” And if the rumors about Cosby’s deteriorating mental state are true, then being rejected by Camille could be enough to push him over the edge. In just a few weeks, Joe Giudice will be a free man. In more ways than one, according to a brand new report. Indeed, sources confirm to Radar Online that Teresa Giudice really is preparing to cut bait on her marriage, as weeks and weeks’ forth of rumors may soon turn into a reality. Just how likely is this scenario? What steps, if any, has Teresa taken toward divorce? “[She] visited a divorce lawyer last week when she got back from Los Angeles,” a source close to The Real Housewives of New Jersey star told Radar, adding in no uncertain terms: “She is serious about divorcing Joe, and she wants to make sure she is taken care of when it happens.” This isn’t the first we’ve heard of a possible divorce between Teresa and Joe, but it is the first time we’ve heard of the former conferring with an attorney. Two weeks ago, reports circulated that Giudice has already filed her legal paperwork , but that doesn’t appear to be the case just yet. Still, Joe was sentenced to deportation in October, as a judge decreed he broke federal law as a non-U.S. citizen and must therefore return to Italy after he completes his prison term next month. In a 13-page ruling, this judge explained that Giudice’s crimes – which included conspiracy to commit mail and wire fraud, bankruptcy fraud, and failure to file tax returns – could be defined as “aggravated felonies,” or offenses that involve fraud or deceit in which the loss to the victim exceeds $10,000. He was sent to prison for 41 months for these crimes. And, unless something changes, will now be sent away from his family. Couldn’t Teresa and his four daughters just follow Joe to Italy? Yes. But how would Teresa benefit financially from such a move? Insiders have claimed that the veteran Bravo personality (who served time herself behind bars for similar financial crimes) is already looking ahead, both personally and professionally. She may even be scheming to sign up for a spinoff once Joe is out of the picture. It would center on her life as a newly single mother of four. “Her role on [The Real Housewives] just doesn’t pay enough, and Teresa needs the extra cash to be able to buy Joe out of his portion of the ownership of their mansion,” alleges this report. The informant who offered up such a quote added the following of Teresa’s plans: “[She] has held back a lot of intimate details about her personal life from viewers and is pitching Bravo that this project would allow her to be essentially reintroduced to the audience.” For now, though, questions do remain about Joe’s status. His lawyer has filed an appear in regard to the deportation and a hearing may be held to determine his fate once and for all before Joe leaves jail. Source: Vivien Killilea / Getty Drake And Odell Beckham Jr Are Facing Some Legal Trouble Drake and Odell Beckham Jr. are both involved in yet another another legal battle. According to TMZ , the two entertainers were slapped with a lawsuit over a physical altercation that went down in West Hollywood. Surveillance footage obtained by the outfit showed the plaintiff, Bennett Sipes, getting attacked on March 24, 2018 while inside the Delilah nightclub. Drake and Odell were among the group of people present and watching the fight go down. Kourtney Kardashian’s ex-boyfriend, Younes Bendjima, was one of the men seen assaulting the plaintiff. According to legal documents, Sipes claims that he got into a verbal confrontation with the defendants while he was inside the venue. He said that as he began leaving the VIP area, he witnessed Drake make a “throat slash” hand gesture, which he took as a threat. The defendant claimed that he then attempted to enter the restroom, but was stopped by a group of men that included both Drake and Odell, along with their respective entourages. Sipes is alleging that Drake and Odell ordered the attack on him, which has allegedly resulted in “extreme mental anguish and physical pain.” He is also suing Bendjima for the physical altercation as well as Delilah nightclub for not providing adequate security inside the venue. While speaking with TMZ , Sipes’s lawyer said that they tried to settle this case out of court, but were ultimately unsuccessful. “We gave the defendant’s months to settle this claim without litigation, but when they failed to be accountable for their actions, we were left with no choice but to file suit to seek justice for our client,” attorney Colin Jones said. Sipes is seeking unspecified damages.
