Nicki Minaj Blasts Mariah Carrey: Bitter! Insecure!

On last night’s American Idol performance show , Mariah Carey talked a little trash to Nicki Minaj, taunting her for never having a number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100. And now the pop star has fired back at the legendary diva. HARD. “Why a woman SO successful at her age, is still so INSECURE, and bitter,” Minaj Tweeted this afternoon, going on to reference the rumor that Fox was looking to replace Mariah with Jennifer Lopez. “All dem #1s but JLo phone ringin? Lol. I guess having a personality, being a secure woman, and giving genuine critique still trumps that.” Ooohh, snaps yo! We’d say this is more contrived ratings bait… but continuing the show’s continual decline in popularity, that seems hard to believe. Here is a picture of the legendary teen icon, Britney Spears, no longer a teen, definitely not a girl and fully a woman, and old, washed up, tired woman who is hanging with what looks like Jabba the Hut, at least according to its chin, possibly to make her look skinnier, or maybe just because this is what America Looks like now thanks to all the bad food marketed to you, and it’s working, because Britney, despite looking dead, with no soul, all medicated and confused, with her titties and belly button stickin’ out, looks hot to me, but then again, medicated, dazed and confused girls is with no souls is kinda what I’m into. Roger Ebert, RIP: 1942-2013

Roger Ebert , Pulitzer Prize winning movie critic for the Chicago Sun-Times , died today at the age of 70. Ebert spent more than 45 prolific years punditing for the newspaper, in time growing more famous than many of the films he reviewed. He popularized thumbs-up or thumbs-down judgments on his televised show with the late Gene Siskel , then continued on with Richard Roeper . He also shared a common interest in amazingly pneumatic knockers with boobie connoisseur Russ Meyer , and penned Beyond the Valley of the Dolls (1970), Up! (1976), and Beneath the Valley of the Ultra-Vixens (1979) for the legendary director. Roger Ebert, mighty wielder of the pen, has left the building. He will be missed.

Harry Reems, Star of Deep Throat, Dead at 65

Harry Reems , the legendary porn pioneer who starred in both Deep Throat (1972) and The Devil in Miss Jones (1973) has passed away at age 65. Harry appeared in approximately 140 feature-length sexploitation and hardcore films in the ‘70s and ‘80s, after a chance promotion from lighting crew to star on the set of Deep Throat . His appearance in Deep Throat was not all fun and blowjobs though, since it led to his arrest by FBI agents in 1974 on charges of conspiracy to distribute obscenity across state lines. Although personal problems eventually brought her career to a standstill, Reems began his recovery in 1989 with marriage and a conversion to Christianity. He was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer last summer, and passed away yesterday at the Salt Lake City VA Hospital. Mr. Skin was lucky enough to speak to Harry Reems in 2005 when he was promoting the DVD release of Inside Deep Throat . Read his thoughts on a fascinating career here .

Earl Weaver Dies; Hall of Fame Manager was 82

Earl Weaver, the legendary ex-manager of the Baltimore Orioles, passed away early this morning on a cruise in the Caribbean. He was 82 years old. A Hall of Famer, Weaver won 1,480 games and was well-known for both his temper and his penchant for the three-run homer. He collapsed with his wife, Maryanne, by his side and never regained consciousness, according to The New York Daily News . Said Orioles owner Peter Angelos in a statement: “Weaver stands alone as the greatest manager in the history of the Orioles organization and one of the greatest in the history of baseball.” Weaver took the team to four World Series and won the 1970 title. “This is a sad day for everyone who knew him and for all Orioles fans,” Angeles said. “Earl made his passion for the Orioles known both on and off the field. On behalf of the Orioles, I extend my condolences to his wife, Marianna, and to his family.”
