Earlier this week, Trace Bates confirmed what many on the Internet had been buzzing over for weeks: Yup, he sure is dating Chaney Grace! The reality star spoke to In Touch Weekly about this romance, making it evident he’s very excited to see where it’s going. “These past 8 months of getting to know each other have been amazing and we look forward to what God has in store for us,” Trace told the tabloid , going on to detail how the twomet: He says they initially crossed paths in Colorado when their families were on a skiing trip at the same time. She has been dating Rick Leventhal for a couple of months, and has now revealed that she's engaged . Some fans think that she's joking. Castmates Vicki and Tamra think that she's lying, drunk, or both. Kelly Dodd was giving boyfriend Rick Leventhal a rave review on Instagram when one of her followers chimed in. The fan appreciated how Rick is “normal and works for Fox,’ which the fan expressed meant that he earned a “10/10 perfect score.” While not everyone would consider a Fox News correspondent to have a normal or even acceptable job, Kelly's reply was a massive shocker. Kelly wrote: “that’s weird because we are getting married 10/10/2020.” Announcing an engagement was surprising enough. Announcing the wedding date was absolutely mind-boggling. Kelly's rivals from The Real Housewives of Orange County aren't buying Kelly's announcement for a second. I like it!” Yes, Tamra and Brandi's Twitter feud has been vicious on both sides. Vicki then gets into a bit of flirtation with Andy's other guest, but we're reasonably confident that it's going nowhere — for a lot of reasons. Still, Vicki never gave a solid “yes” or “no” as to what she believes that Kelly really meant by her comment. Is she just desperate enough to be married that she'd make up a wedding date as a joke? Or … is she desperate enough to be married that she's already engaged to a man she's known for only a couple of months? In case you hadn't noticed, Kelly has very much broken things off with Doctor Brian. (A shocking number of people who follow Kelly on Instagram apparently can't be bothered to keep up with her life; Instagram is where she announced the split) In a vague video that appeared to be filled with alcohol, she announced her breakup to her fans and followers. While it's true that she was strongly fishing for an engagement a few months ago, clearly something had changed. Kelly intimated that Doctor Brian knew exactly why she was ditching him. She did not opt to explain to her fans, however. Our guess? Kelly isn't engaged just yet, but decided to “joke” about how much she'd like to marry Rick. You know, like when two friends “joke” about wanting to bone the other and it's all fun and games until the other suggests that they're down for it? Well, that may be Kelly's situation. That wedding date will remain a “joke” right up until Rick goes “actually, want to really do it?”
As we reported earlier this month, Maddox Jolie-Pitt has left for college . The 18-year-old son of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt is attending Yonsei University in Incheon, South Korea. College and adulthood can be very freeing. For the first time, Maddox is discussing his parents’ split and his estranged father. This week, in a video obtained by In Touch Weekly , Maddox is approached by a cameraman and asked questions. First, Maddox is asked if his estranged father, Brad Pitt, will be visiting him at school now that he’s started college. “Um, I don’t know about that … what’s happening,” Maddox replies. It’s a deeply awkward question. The cameraman followed up, asking if his relationship with his dad is over for good. Maddox kept it vague, replying: “Whatever happens, happens.” We should acknowledge that this isn’t really a case of Maddox volunteering to open up to the world about family drama. He’s an 18-year-old college freshman who’s on the other side of the planet from his entire family. And somebody with a camera followed him to college to leverage a young man’s politeness in the hopes that he’d speak to the camera. While Angelina and even Brad did a good job of shielding their children from some of the burdens of fame, that makes them unpracticed with these guerilla interviews. Humans are social animals. Maddox’s natural instinct was to answer a stranger’s questions. An inside source previously spoke to In Touch Weekly about how Maddox is doing with this huge life milestone. “Maddox is leaving the tight-knit family nest,” the insider acknowledged. The source continued: “And while there have been some tears, he’s super excited about starting this new journey.” Maddox’s siblings are Pax, 15, Zahara, 14, John (Shiloh), 13, and 11-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox. “He told his siblings that they have to listen to Pax now,” the insider shares. “Which they all laughed at.” “Pax probably took it the hardest,” the source characterized. “But he’s tough and doesn’t cry.” “All the other kids got teary-eyed,” the insider revealed. “They’re all going to miss their oldest brother,” the source explained. “Who’s always been kind and a very calming presence.” The insider adds that Maddox was like this “even when he was little.” Basically everyone — with the exceptions of some of Brad’s diehard stans — loves Maddox. Maddox played a central role into the event onboard their private plane that resulted in Angelina filing for divorce and reporting Brad to the FBI for child-abuse. It is believed that there was some sort of conflict onboard the plane. After what Angelina witnessed, she knew that she could not remain married to Brad — or the person he had become. She also did her best to keep the children away from him until he had taken major steps to combat his alcoholism. Somehow, some of Brad’s most rabidly fanatical fans made him out to somehow be the “victim” in all of this. Maddox has kept his distance from his now estranged father for some time, and is said to be very protective of his mother. There are some who think that he and Brad “need” to reconnect for some reason. That’s very silly. The nice thing about life is that you eventually get to choose which family members to keep in your life and which to exclude. Maddox appears to be open to an eventual reconciliation with his father, which is very charitable of him. For now, he’s focusing on his classes. She wants some of her ventures to be overseas so she invited everyone except for Jenn to Costa Rica so there will be more girls trip shenanigans soon. Apparently, Shaunie is mad at Jenn again, and so is Evelyn. I don’t know what happened between the episode that they all made up and Jenn apologized, and tonight’s episode, but I guess Evelyn and Shaunie needed something to beef about because they went back to saying that Jenn wasn’t really genuine and that they were over her. It was like an episode of the Twilight Zone . Jenn has been on some BS at times during this show, but in this case, she really didn’t seem to be on her drama tip. She just left them claiming that she was done with them for real. Okay, girl. They always claim they’re done but the allure of attention via reality TV gets strong and they come running right back. Remember when Evelyn was “fixing her life” with Iyanla, got her own show and was allegedly on this positive kick? Then her show got canceled and she went running right back to Basketball Wives and it didn’t take her long to revert back to her old evil self. Anyway… The episode ends on another wack note with Evelyn and OG arguing again. OG is a straight shooter, and she’s not scared of these women, nor does she try too hard to be their friend, which they don’t seem like. So, Evelyn’s “Toe-gie” comment came up again and they started going back and forth about that. Basically, OG doesn’t appreciate Evelyn’s ish talking because if it were the other way around Evelyn would be trying to throw drinks, hands and whatever else, and we’ve seen it numerous times. They claim they don’t like OG because she’s aggressive but OG never actually acted on any of her threats. She has kept it quite calm throughout the entire season. There was even a moment where OG invited the group to a party that her family threw because she wanted them to get to know her and see her culture. Only Jackie and Jenn actually showed up (Cece couldn’t make it). OG was disappointed because it was her once again attempting to extend an olive branch only for her to b dismissed. To make things worse, word on these cyber streets is that OG wasn’t even allowed to film the reunion on stage, which was taped last Monday. Girl, they had her in another room communicating via satellite because the other women didn’t feel safe. Mind you, people who were there say there was fighting and object-throwing happening on stage. Obviously, none of that was OG. So, once again, we’re back wondering why they were so afraid of OG. She did make some threats here and there but again never actually acted violently and she only verbally sparred with people who came at her first with whatever shady comment they felt like making that day. It’s no different from when your mom threatened to kill you but never actually did. So, say it with me, colorism (might even be xenophobia too). OG even seemed to agree but according to MadameNoire, when it was brought up, she was dismissed, which is what people usually like to do when dark skin girls bring up colorism. Such a shame. TMZ caught up with the Nature Boy, Ric Flair and he announced he signed a deal with the iconic sportswear brand. Wooooooo, if true, Flair is going to be “stylin and profilin” in a pair of adidas for the rest of his life. The legendary wrestler broke the news to TMZ and wants to put Nike in the figure-four leg lock and make them submit to being number 2 if he has his way. He turned on the Flair swag while boasting of the new partnership and running off all the names who are already a part of the brand. Per TMZ : “Ready for the good news? Adidas thinks I’m ‘The Man.’ I signed a deal with them, and we’re fixin’ to make Nike the 2nd brand. It’s not gonna be Air Jordan anymore, it’s gonna be Air Flair, and I can’t jump.” “It’s gonna be Adidas, Woooooooo!!!” Naitch wouldn’t go into detail about exactly what the partnership entails, but he rattled off a few NBA stars he’s pumped to work with … and he took aim at Nike’s founder and chairman. “This is me and Damian Lillard. Harden, James Harden, who I love and should be the MVP. Nike’s gonna be [outta here]. Today, on this very special Tuesday in September, I’m happy to share that Amanda Bynes has joined Instagram . The 33-year-old just made her first-ever post, and as usual, she is leaving quite a big impression. A few hours ago, the Nickelodeon alum directed her 2.9 million Twitter followers to her new Instagram page, writing, “Hey guys! I’m on Instagram now ! Check me out.” Since making the announcement, the beloved child star has already racked up around 28,000 followers! Um, talk about a #Comeback. Currently, there are only nine people in the world who are lucky enough to be followed by Ms. Bynes, most of them fashion designers and magazine outlets. But Nicky and Paris Hilton also scored individual follows. The first photo Amanda shared was a selfie, which offered a perfect glimpse into her edgy new look. She debuted her long, wavy pink locks and accessorized with a pink necklace and a gold septum ring, using a kissy face emoji for her caption. The comment section of the post was disabled, which honestly, is pretty impressive considering she is a newbie to IG. But also unfortunate because we can only imagine how much support and praise her post, as seen below, would’ve received. Oh well, we’re sending all the love anyway! Amanda has slowly but surely been making her way back into the public eye. But with that and the pressure of auditioning again, 5 months ago she landed right back into rehab after an unfortunate “relapse”. At the time, her family’s attorney told E! News that “Amanda is doing great, working on herself, and taking some well-deserved time off to focus on her wellbeing after graduating FIDM in December.” Right before her graduation, Amanda graced the cover of Paper magazine, where she opened up about her past struggles with mental health and drugs . While most of us remember her as the charming, beautiful lead in some of the best early 00’s rom-coms like What a Girl Wants and She’s the Man (great movie don’t @ me) Amanda saw something else. At the time, she said watching herself play a boy in the popular soccer film sent her into a months-long depression. “When the movie came out and I saw it, I went into a deep depression for 4 to 6 months because I didn’t like how I looked when I was a boy,” she explained. Bynes also discussed her experience with smoking marijuana, along with taking other drugs, and how it changed her entire personality and outlook on life. “I was high on marijuana when I saw [ Easy A ], but for some reason, it really started to affect me,” she said. “I don’t know if it was a drug-induced psychosis or what, but it affected my brain in a different way than it affects other people. It absolutely changed my perception of things.” The Hairspray actress has been sober for four years now, and even though her road to recovery has taken some dark turns, fans are remaining optimistic.
