Slowly but surely, Jacob Roloff is stepping back into the spotlight. The former Little People, Big World star didn’t merely quit his family’s TLC reality show last summer… … he did so in VERY loud and memorable fashion. In July of 2016, Roloff called out the series and also his loved ones for being totally fake and scripted . He simply couldn’t handle it any longer and chose to go off on his own instead; he’s basically been road-tripping around the Pacific Northwest with his girlfriend and dogs ever since. But Roloff has been keeping fans apprised of his life via a handful of video blogs over the past several weeks, explaining that he can control his own narrative this way. “It’s just more free doing it myself, I can do anything, I can say anything, I can talk about anything,” Roloff wrote on Instagram of why he has stepped away from reality TV… yet is still in front of a camera. “I can show whatever I want,” he concluded of these videos. Along these same lines, Roloff has a new announcement to make: He’s coming out with a book!!!!!! It is titled “Verbing” and you can purchase a copy on Etsy.com for just $5. On Instagram, Roloff describes this quasi memoir as a “little thing” that are his “thoughts in physical form.” A profound individual, the 20-year old spends his days traveling around the country and basically pondering various aspects of life. And he wants to share some of these contemplations with his fans. “Forewarning: I am not taking myself overly serious, it would be prudent if you didn’t either,” Jacob adds of the book, explaining: “This is a sincere expression and not much more. No end-game. No expectations.” At the moment, the book is only available for shipping to the United States and Canada. According to its official description, it is a 16-page collection of three short essays, one titled “Ignorance,” one titled “Frustration,” and one titled “Revelations.” Concluded Roloff of his goals with the short tome: “This is my exploratory experiment with writing to get my feet wet with the process and establish the subject(s) I would like to write on in the future…. “Thank you for all support and encouragement!” Jacob has also been vocal of late in his appreciation for new nephew Jackson Kyle Roloff. The baby was born to brother Zach and sister-in-law Tori on May 12 and he appears to have helped Jacob grow close once again to his family members. On more than one occasion, Jacob has stopped by the family farm since Jackson’s birth, sharing pictures of the adorable tyke and gushing over him online . “Love bein an uncle so far. Remember Justin Bieber’s DUI arrest in Miami from a while back? Justin sure wants you to remember. He’s shared a throwback photo of his own mugshot, and his captions are fine on the surface, but might indicate an internal struggle. His mugshot also reminds us that, for all his faults, Justin takes really good mugshots. Over the years, Justin Bieber’s bad behavior hasn’t been a secret … at all. Like, we’re sure that there’s stuff that we haven’t heard about. But there’s also stuff like Justin egging his neighbors house . And, of course, the drunk driving (and drag racing!) in Florida that led to his arrest. Honestly, some of his antics came across like the stereotypical “bad kid” from any and every generic animated drama from the last two decades. But Justin’s shared this throwback photo of his own mugshot, and it’s apparently not to brag about how good he looked in it. (Though, let’s be honest, he looked great) He captioned the photo: “#jailisnotacoolplacetobe #notfun #neveragain” For those of you who don’t enjoy reading hashtags, that was: “Jail is not a cool place to be. Not fun. Never again.” For some reason, this feels like less of an after school special for his fans than a public statement about his own intentions. Like, a pledge to himself that he’s not going to repeat past mistakes. It makes us wonder if he’s been struggling with sobriety more than he’s let on. Justin’s mostly different now. These days, he’s more about his faith (like his parents, he’s a Christian, and pretty die-hard about it) and less about substance abuse. He might be leaning on his faith to stay sober, which can be tricky in the same way that staying sober for another person can be tricky, but that’s his business unless he starts doing crimes again. One of his many, many tattoos reads “Better at 70,” which seems to be a motto about becoming a better person throughout his life instead of just coasting along. Presumably, it also applies to his desire to remain in good legal standing. He put up a stencil of the tattoo on Instagram for fans to see if they wanted to also get the tattoo It’s not a great tattoo or even a great catchphrase, but you know that he still has some fans who are intense enough to get it. We don’t think that he’s necessarily conscious of the effect that his throwback photos can have. To him, they show only the consequences of his past bad behavior. To us, they’re a reminder that he’s recently seemed to just give up completely on having nice hair. Like, he’s had a few genuinely good hairstyles, including in that mugshot, and now he keep his head buzzed? There’s no personality there. Also his throwbacks remind us that his skin used to be more visible. It’s not that he doesn’t have the right to tattoo himself to his heart’s content, because he can decorate his meat prison however he likes. But … his tattoo choices tend to not be great. And we’re allowed to grimace at the photos. We’re also allowed to grimace at his captions about jail. Because some people might have been looking at an actual sentence for drag racing and a DUI. But Justin’s deal, if you’ll recall, involved him paying $50,000 (as a donation to a youth charity). In other words … he got out of prison time because he’s rich. Meanwhile, there are innocent people who can’t afford bail for crimes that they didn’t commit, so they spend months behind bars and eventually cop plea deals that admit guilt just so that they can see their families again. So, you know, maybe Justin shouldn’t be complaining about how little fun he had in jail. It can get so much worse than what little he experienced. A lot of people love the Duggars because of how strongly they value their religion, and how deeply they believe in it. But a lot of other people wish they would cool their jets about certain issues. For example, as we’ve seen in recent months, it’s always a big issue when one of the Duggar women dares to wear something other than a long, plain skirt. From what we’ve heard, Jinger wearing pants is about to damn near tear the family apart. There’s also the thing about having baby after baby after baby, regardless of the health of the woman popping out all those kids. Because the Lord isn’t down with contraception. And then there’s the unwavering forgiveness for Josh Duggar , who molested four of his sisters … The point is that the Duggars have many extreme views, and that they make a lot of people uncomfortable. And a sermon delivered by Jeremy Vuolo, Jinger’s brand new husband , is following in that same tradition. See, Jeremy as a pastor at a church in Laredo, Texas. And apparently a lot of Catholics live in Laredo. For him, that is not OK. In a recent sermon he preached at the church, he decided to offer up his stance on Catholicism, which he referred to as “demonic.” Yeah, he doesn’t seem to be too fond of the whole thing. “I just want to say this, kind of as an aside for us here in Laredo,” he said. “There are spiritual strongholds in our world today, aren’t there?” “Just as Paul and Silas encountered the demonic in Phillippi, so we encounter that here in Laredo. In this city we have the pagan religion of Catholicism gripping the souls of the majority.” Catholicism is a pagan religion? We thought it was a Christian religion, but OK, Jeremy. It really seems like he doesn’t see Catholicism as a different denomination of Christianity, but as a different religion altogether — he suggested this in another part of his sermon. “When the question comes, ‘What must I do to be saved?’, Catholicism tells you to clean up your life and adequately perform the sacramental duties,” he said.” For Islam, he said “the only way for you to be certain of paradise is if you die in jihad,” and “for those who claim to be Jews but are not” (???), the key is to follow the Torah and “just do your best.” However, “the message of the Christian is that of grace” — just not if you’re a Catholic Christian, it seems. His views fit in with the rest of the Duggars pretty well: remember, Jill and Derick Dillard are missionaries in El Salvador , which is 85% Christian, just with a Catholic majority. But still, Jeremy is getting a whole, whole lot of hate for the statements he made in his sermon. “What is with the pagan religion of Catholicism?” one person asked on Twitter. “Do we believe a reality show whore, or a 2k year church founded by an apostle?” “You should be ashamed for disrespect you show for Catholics,” another wrote. “Pagan? Please you and your church are spewing this hate. God is Judge, not you.” One person pointed out that “Referring to Catholicsm as ‘pagan’ not only insults Catholics, but Pagans. Study both before making such off-base comments.” A particularly upset Twitter user wrote “AS A PROUD CATHOLIC I AM DISTURBED BY THIS. BE ASHAMED! NOT CHRISTIAN OF YOU AT ALL! BLASPHEMY!” Even though Jeremy is getting this much criticism, we highly doubt he’ll change his opinion or consider these other points of view. That’s just not the Duggar way. A day after gushing over her husband and her lord and savior , Audrey Roloff took to Instagram and said some very nice things about someone with whom she is yet to interact. But someone she cannot wait to meet: The Little People, Big World star’s unborn baby! The expecting mother shared the above photograph of herself on social media on Thursday night, giving fans a beautiful look at her growing belly. She included with the snapshot and update on her physical and mental well-being as she approaches first-time motherhood. “My second-trimester update is coming to you a little late… as we have been in a crazzzzzyyy season of packing, moving, and buying our first home!” opened Audrey, who is due in September. She continued: “As I write this, I am almost 29 weeks pregnant, so technically I’m in the beginning of my 3rd trimester! Woah. Where does the time go! “For the most part, I’ve had a great and healthy pregnancy so far!” The wife of Jeremy Roloff and daughter-in-law of Little People, Big World stars Matt and Amy Roloff is expecting a girl this fall. Citing her big move and other life events, Audrey went on to give thanks to The Big Man Above. “I wholeheartedly believe that the Lord has been protecting me from a lot of the typical pregnancy pitfalls and discomforts because the rest of my life has offered plenty of that lately… “Moving, buying our first home, lots of doctors apt (for Jeremy AND me), @beating50 my clothing line @shopalwaysmore writing ALWAYS MORE… “Devotionals, blog posts, filming for LPBW, traveling between Bend and Portland, and being 6 months pregnant.” That really is a whole lot. Now that she’s in the home stretch, we hope Audrey takes it a bit easy and catches up on her sleep. She’s sure gonna need it when that little girl is born! Audrey and Jeremy got married in 2014 and announced their pregnancy this past February. They’ve gotten a small taste of what parenthood will be like because Zach and Tori Roloff just welcomed their first child into the world on May 12. It’s a precious little boy named Jackson and Audrey has shared a couple photos of her cradling the newborn. Audrey has kept Instagram followers well apprised of the status of her baby bump over the past few months. She’s always been very open about her life and her thoughts, her relationship and her faith. “The more we love God, the more we will be capable of loving others,” she wrote this week, for example, expounding as follows: “God’s love is infinite and ours is finite… God’s love is unconditional and ours expects a return… And yet, because of His great love for us and within us, we are able love like He loves. “We are able to love without bounds. We are ALWAYS able to love MORE.” It sounds like a certain little girl who is waiting to be born will enter a household this September that is filled with love, respect, religion and very important life lessons. If you watch Vanderpump Rules online , then you’re probably aware that the bulk of the show’s most recent season was devoted to planning and preparing for the wedding of Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney. It was an interesting choice from a narrative perspective, as viewers have never been that crazy about the Dueling Bubbas as a couple, but it paid off in the form of gender-bending bachelor parties and numerous cameos from Tequila Katie. And to top it all off, Schwartz and Maloney’s wedding was a genuine tearjerker, complete with earnest vows and a weird scene in which Stassi Schroeder opened up to her mom about crying after orgasms. None of that was enough to make us forget that Tom and Katie have the most dysfunctional relationship since the other Tom and Katie, but it was a surprisingly heartfelt finale from a cast that’s usually more concerned with other throbbing organs. All in all, we wouldn’t say we’re stunned by reports that there’s Bubba trouble going on, but we are surprised that the Schwartzes weren’t able to keep up appearances a bit longer. Reports of Tom and Katie’s struggles come from their mutual “friend” Jax Taylor, who’s not the most reliable source on … well, anything, really, but he’s still creating quite a stir with one of his latest tweets. “What up with your boy Schwartz? Marriage over?” a fan asked Taylor. “Yeah he dipped out of the country,” Jax Taylor explained. “He said f this and left. Apparently going on a poker tour was more important.” Now, it’s entirely possible that Jax is joking. But if that’s the case, he picked a rather strange topic to kid around about. Tom and Katie getting a quickie divorce is way too plausible a scenario to be funny. It’s like joking about Trump bringing about a nuclear apocalypse. Stuff that seems incredibly likely to actually happen just doesn’t elicit the LOLs, ya know? It’s worth noting that Schwartz, usually a frequent tweeter, hasn’t posted anything to Twitter in over a week. Katie has tweeted, but she hasn’t mentioned Tom, and you’d have to go back to March to find a photo of the couple on her Instagram. So maybe Tom and Katie haven’t called it quits yet – but it sounds like they’re not exactly jumping on Oprah’s couch about how much they love married life.
