Apryl Jones Speaks On State Of Her Relationship With Lil Fizz [VIDEO]

Source: FayesVision/WENN.com / WENN Apryl Jones is back and she’s better than ever, according to the 32-year-old reality personality and mom. In a video promoting the upcoming sixth season of Love and Hip Hop Hollywood , Jones talked about returning to the show for the new season as the real, unfiltered version of herself after appearing in the first two seasons with ex-boyfriend Omarion. “Season 6 is my comeback season,” she said. “I feel like what they can expect is just the real Apryl. I feel like when I was on Love and Hip Hop before, I was in a relationship, I was pregnant and I couldn’t really have fun. I wasn’t really filmed with all of the other cast members, so this is me finally as a mom but stepping back into the L.A. life, working, hustling and getting my groove back; you know, feeling sexy, just being bomb, living my best life.” Text “RICKEY” to 71007 to join the Rickey Smiley Morning Show mobile club for exclusive news.  ( Terms and conditions ). What’s changed in her life that people have followed is the fact that she’s been rumored to be dating Lil Fizz (born Dreux Frédéric). Also, her co-parenting relationship with his B2K band mate Omarion is virtually non-existent, as she says she doesn’t get much help , including financially. It’s unclear if the disintegration of Apryl and Omarion’s parenting relationship is a direct cause of how close she is with Fizz, though. “There’s no relationship between Omari and I, I would honestly say that. We co-parent, and we can’t even do that,” she said. “It’s very difficult. I would honestly say this is probably the worst that it has been in our relationship, because we don’t really communicate because he won’t communicate. It’s hard to be dealing with the court stuff, not communicating, having children, my son’s getting ready to start school, so that’s kind of where we are.” SEE ALSO:  Take Her Phone: Apryl Jones Put The Game, Shaq, Kevin Durant & More On IG Live Blast [VIDEO] “My relationship with Dreux, he’s definitely someone who I always considered just like an angel sent into my life,” she added. “I’ve known him for some years, but we’ve definitely gotten closer over the last two to three years. He has been there through the course of just the sh-t that I deal with with the father of my kids, just helping me in that aspect. I’m a single mom, I have no family in L.A. It’s awesome to be able to have a friend who chooses to do what’s right, to be there and support his friend, to make sure that I’m healthy mentally and honestly, he’s just an angel sent into my life. The two haven’t turned their relationship into anything romantic just yet, but they have bonded over the fact that they struggle to co-parent with their former partners. “Me and Dreux’s relationship is a friendship. When it pertains to me dealing with the father of my children and how difficult it has been, he’s stepped in. He’s seen the way that Omari doesn’t communicate, or when he does communicate it’s very ignorant at times, and he feels bad for me. Me and him are as close as we are because he’s dealing with someone who’s almost similar to his children. We have that compatibility in both dealing with the mother and father of our children. He steps in just to help me get sleep or when he sees that I don’t have anyone to help me with the children, he’ll be like, ‘You gotta go work, you gotta make your money, go ahead and do what you gotta do — what a friend would do.” SEE ALSO: Moneice Slaughter Spills The Tea, Claims Lil Fizz & Apryl Jones Only Smashing To Get Back Omarion Still, she admitted that she could possibly fall in love with him down the line, but currently, “where we are is where we are.” They have talked about how they feel about one another but agreed they wouldn’t hop into a relationship without therapy and doing some self-work beforehand. Nevertheless, she wouldn’t need to take all of those type of precautions in order to get in bed with her current BFF. “I’m not opposed to f–king him, is that what you want me to say? I mean I’m not!” she said. “A b—h needs some d–k and I’d rather give it to a person that’s my friend as opposed to a person who’s just a guy that I’m knowing. He’s deserving of the pu–y. Let’s just be really honest. Dreux is definitely deserving of the pu–y, and if I decide to give it to him one day, I would be proud of that because I have given guys my vagina that don’t deserve it. He deserves it! Amber Portwood: Should She Lose Custody of Her Son?

Shortly after Amber Portwood was arrested for domestic violence this month, our staff members debated a seemingly important question as it related to the Teen Mom OG star: Should she be fired? We asked this same question to our readers as well. You can see those results HERE . Now, however, we’re being forced to confront an actually important question: Should Amber Portwood actually lose custody of her 14-month old son? This topic is pertinent because new details have emerged in regard to Amber’s arrest; namely that she’s accused of wielding a machete while trying to break into her home’s bathroom in order to continue her (alleged) attack against boyfriend Andrew Glennon… … who was holding the couple’s child, James, in his arms at the time. YIKES, right? Glennon feared his life and his toddler’s life were both in danger and he has since filed for full custody of James. So this question isn’t some hypothetical. It’s an issue that will soon be taken up by a judge in court. Before the first custody hearing takes place, however, we’ve posed the above question – Should Amber Portwood Lose Custody of Her 14-month Old Son?   – to our writers and reporters and we’ve shared their responses below… View Slideshow: Andrew Glennon: Fighting For Sole Custody of Son Following Amber Portwood Attack! YES by Tyler Johnson Yes, Amber Portwood deserves to lose custody of her child. I’m aware that she’s battled mental illness and many who are close to the troubled Teen Mom OG star swear they’ve witnessed considerable improvement in recent years. But assaulting your significant other with a deadly weapon would be a dealbreaker even if it were the first time that Amber had ever engaged in this sort of behavior. We know it’s not, of course, as Portwood’s violent tendencies have resulted in numerous brushes with the law over the years. It’s always a sad thing when a child is taken away from his mother. However, for the time being, at least, Amber’s mental state has rendered her incapable of providing a safe and stable environment for any child. Hopefully, Andrew Glennon will be reasonable and allow his ex regular visits with her son. But whatever the case, Amber clearly has a long way to go before she’s capable of being a full-time parent again. NO by Free Britney Jenelle Evans has custody of her kids, so how can Amber not? On second thought, that doesn’t make any sense and isn’t a good example at all. Changing my position. Please hold. YES by Free Britney Anytime a person’s partner calls 911 to report a machete-wielding maniac, children probably shouldn’t be exposed to such an environment for the foreseeable future. YES by Simon Delott I know that Amber has people on her side. Some fans think that a child’s place is with their mother, no matter what — and they aren’t kidding about that last part. They may argue that she’ll “learn her lesson,” whatever that means, after this Andrew Glennon incident. My question, though, is this: What lesson could this possibly teach that Amber could not have learned from her previous criminal history, which included actual time served in jail? Amber had her chance to learn. She apparently didn’t glean much from it. Why throw away another chance on her? Especially because this isn’t about whether or not she deserves the happiness of motherhood or whatever. This is about what is best for baby James, who deserves his best shot in life. Someone who allegedly beats and batters their loved one while that loved one is holding a child is not a fit parent — or a good parent. Sometimes, the best way to escape from vicious cycles that get passed down in families is just to escape from toxic members of the family itself. James deserves a real life in a safe and loving environment. That’s what matters. NO by Hilton Hater I base my answer around this literal question: Should Portwood lose custody of James? As in: Should she permanently lose custody of her very young son? This is not some casual topic about which one should speculate or ruminate based on a few celebrity gossip website headlines. This may seem obvious to state, but it’s a really huge deal to take a child away from his or her biological mother. Such a legal decision can only be made under the most dire or extreme circumstances. My colleagues above all argue that allegedly using a giant sword as part of an attack against one’s significant other, with one’s infant kid very much caught up in the middle, would qualify as dire or extreme . But I have two counters here: 1. Portwood has been diagnosed as bipolar. 2. She has no history of violence against her kids. And the Winner is? YES! Click Here To Vote for YES! NO! Click Here To Vote for NO! Following her latest arrest, you tell us: Should Amber Portwood lose custody of her young son? View Poll » Both of these points are relevant when talking about the extreme step of stripping her custody away entirely. Yes, she needs to go to therapy. Yes, she probably needs to go to jail. Yes, she must share custody with Glennon. And, yes, she absolutely needs to be fired from Teen Mom so she no longer faces the pressure of answering to fans or cameramen. I’m by no means advocating to simply shrug off this arrest or the incident that preceded it. I’m simply sharing the compromises available in this situation, the alternative ways in which James can be kept safe… Amber can receive the help she clearly needs… and yet she can do so while remaining an integral part of her son’s life. Because, let’s face it, it’s easy to read a few articles, leap up on to a soapbox and proclaim that Portwood should stay as far away from her kid as possible. But it’s a lot harder to put this opinion into practice — as it should be. There’s a reason why judges are the ones who must make these very difficult decision, not content creators who sit at home all day and think they know best. No offense, fellas. I still love you.

Amber Portwood Skips Teen Mom Reunion; Is She a Goner?!?

Amber Portwood may have already made her final appearance on MTV. The embattled reality star has not made any public statements in about two weeks, not since she was arrested on three felony counts of domestic assault after allegedly attacking boyfriend Andrew Glennon . But numerous headlines of late have been screaming about the inevitable. And that would be this: Portwood will soon be fired from Teen Mom OG. According to the latest report, producers will absolutely, positively give Amber the axe if it is proven that she wielded a machete in her July 5 attack against Glennon. It’s true: In case you are just catching up on this wild and disturbing story, Portwood was arrested the morning after July Fourth because she supposedly blamed Glennon for the couple and its one-year old son, James, missing a fireworks show due to an abundance of traffic. She then hurled a shoe at Glennon while he was cradling James — and has admitted to this act. And she then took a giant sword and tried to break into the bathroom where Andrew was hiding with James — although she has denied this act. View Slideshow: Amber Portwood: FIRED From Teen Mom OG For Attacking Boyfriend With Machete? With rumors swirling over whether MTV will keep employing Amber after such a violent episode, multiple outlets have now at least confirmed that she was NOT a part of the Teen Mom OG reunion held this past weekend in New York City. “Amber’s trying to get things together in her life and she wasn’t able to attend,” a source tells Us Weekly, ading: “She’s dealing with the situation and her most important thing is her family.” To be clear: Portwood skipping the reunion does not, in and of itself, mean that she’s been fired. Amber was in court just a few days ago to hear a list of the charges against her and is dealing with a very serious legal situation right now. As a result, attending “just wasn’t a consideration with everything else she has going on right now,” Radar Online writes. Portwood’s costars — Maci Bookout,Catelynn Lowell and Cheyenne Floyd — did, of course, travel to The Big Apple without  her. And so did the 29-year-old’s ex-fiance, Gary Shirley, with whom she shares daughter Leah, 10, Us Weekly reports. “Gary was asked about the situation and he was very diplomatic,” the tabloid reveals. “They have a nice relationship now.” Inside a courtroom at the aforementioned hearing on July 10, Portwood was ordered to stay away from both Glennon and her baby son. This makes a lot of legal sense when you consider the allegations against  her. According to court documents, the MTV personality really did possess a machete during the fight with Glennon, who was holding their 14-month-old and trying to keep him safe during the assault. “[Amber] struck the machete at and into a door, while Andrew Glennon was standing directly on the other side of the door, that created a substantial risk of bodily injury to Andrew Glennon,” the documentss read. As of this writing, Portwood is staying with her mom and trying to figure out what to do next, in a personal, professional and legal sense. She has starred on Teen Mom OG since its premierei n 2009 and was also arrested for domestic assault (of Shirley) in 2010, a crime for which she eventually spent 17 months behind bars. And the Winner is? Yes, she’s a menace! Click Here To Vote for YES No, give her a break! Click Here To Vote for NO Facing a trio of felony assault charges, should Amber Portwood be fired by MTV? View Poll » The irony in all this firing talk is that Portwood came very close to quitting the franchise just a few months ago. Very unhappy with how she was being portrayed on the show, Portwood told an executive producer: “I just don’t feel like this is right for my life anymore, seeing that you guys want a certain kind of story that I just don’t want to give you anymore. I just feel like it’s very different from a reality show anymore.” She had previously Tweeted a similar sentiment. “The heartache this show has put me through is too much to bear anymore,” she wrote in early 2019, prior to agreeing to return for Season 8 and adding back then: “My name will not get smeared anymore. I hope everyone is resting easy with the money they’ve made off of heartache and pain that I’ve endured.” View Slideshow: Amber Portwood Threatened Suicide, Attacked Boyfriend with a Machete: Report In the many months since this Tweet was written, Amber has become the one to smear her own name. Do you think she should stay on as a cast member?

Four Years Without Sandy: What Sandra Bland Taught Us About Life & Death In America

Source: NewsOne Screenshots / NewsOne Now Four years after Sandra Bland  was found dead in her jail cell in Waller County, Texas, America finds itself at a crossroads. In the wake of intense violence nationwide and a President who emboldens this type of violence, we must decide now if we are going to allow systemic violence against marginalized communities to become part of the status quo, or are we going to make a change. In spite of the countless injustices that have transpired since her death, it is impossible not to be haunted by Sandra’s story — not just for the sheer scope of its tragedy, but also for how regular she was. Sandra could have been any one of us. Four years later, racial tensions have only grown progressively worse in America. On this day, it’s important to reflect on the lessons we learned from Sandra, whose light and legacy can never be dimmed. Here is what Sandra has taught us: You Can Control Your Legacy Too often, Black victims of police brutality end up facing a trial in the public eye. Mainstream media often depicts them as somehow deserving of the horrendous treatment they received. But Sandra’s commitment to documenting her life meant that she was empowered to leave her own legacy and tell her own story beyond her death. Her vlog, #SandySpeaks, gave us all the chance to get to know how she lived rather than just how she died. She could not be erased. Furthermore, her family’s activism beyond her death has left a profound impact on today’s civil rights movement . The tragedy they experienced spurned them into action. And those actions are proof of the impact she had on their lives. Respectability Politics Won’t Save Us Black people are often told that what they wear, how they speak, and what they do can somehow save them from racism. It is one of the great myths of modern society. It’s hard to think of a more “respectable” person than Sandra. She was an educated, accomplished, beautiful woman. She was getting ready to begin a new career. She had a promising future. And still, she died in police custody under extremely mysterious circumstances. According to a recent report in the The Guardian , “based on the latest national figures available from the Bureau of Justice Statistics, 4,980 prisoners in US correctional facilities died in 2014, a nearly 3% increase from 2013. In addition, in state prisons, the mortality rate was 275 for every 100,000 people, the highest since data collection began in 2001.” We have to stop holding Black people to standards that we believe will save us in a system that is failing to protect us. Trayvon Martin did not die because of his hoodie. Alton Sterling didn’t die because of his previous issues with the law. Education and career choice couldn’t save Sandra or Philando Castile . They were victims of a racist system that needs to be changed. It’s Not Only Black Men Who Are In Danger The #SayHerName movement has been around for some time, but it was Sandra’s death, along with female victims like Korryn Gaines , Natasha McKenna , Rekia Boyd , and Kindra Chapman that thrust it into the national dialogue. But if Sandra is proof of anything, it’s that we have a long way to go. Were it not for social media and the tireless efforts of her family, we may never have known her name. It’s not hard to imagine just how many female victims remain ghosts in the public persona. Black women are one of the world’s most marginalized populations and we can no longer operate under the illusion that just because we aren’t hearing about it, it’s not happening. Prince Harry & Prince William: Feuding Over How to Raise Archie?!

For months now, we’ve been hearing rumors about a feud between Prince William and Prince Harry . The causes for the alleged dispute vary wildly from one source to the next, but insiders seem to concur that there’s some bad blood between the two princes. Even outsiders can sense the friction, as William and Harry have been making fewer public appearances together, and they seem to have gone to great lengths to keep their distance from one another in private. Harry and wife Meghan Markle recently moved to Frogmore Cottage , nearly 20 miles from the home they once shared with William and Kate Middleton. Maybe Meg and Harry just wanted more privacy for their growing family. Or maybe the British tabloid media got it right for once, and there really is tension between the couples. Whatever the case, the hostility seemed to have eased a bit following the birth of Meghan and Harry’s first child, Archie . Now, however, Us Weekly is reporting that little Archie has actually reignited the feud between Harry and William. The thought of a British baby stirring up drama between two grown men by spreading gossip behind their backs is undeniably hilarious, but we regret to report that that’s not what happened. No, according to an insider who spoke with Us , Harry and Will are at odds over the proper way to raise a royal baby. As you may have heard, Harry and Meg have gone to great lengths to protect Archie’s privacy. They’ve even eschewed a royal title for the child so that he might live as “normal” a life as possible under the circumstances. According to the source, the couple “made the decision to have no live-in staff at Frogmore Cottage,” and they explain to curious parties that “it’s all part of wanting the most normal family environment for Archie.” And apparently, none of this sits well with Will. Maybe he feels such an upbringing is beneath a royal baby. Or perhaps he’s concerned that such austere measures will make his own kids look entitled by comparison Whatever the case, Will was reportedly pissed off by the decision to make Archie’s christening a press-free occasion. “The queen accepted Harry and Meghan’s decision to keep the event private,” says the insider, adding that William and Kate “weren’t happy about it. “William thinks his brother is going overboard keeping Archie out of the spotlight,” the informant says, noting thhe Harry’s older brother “blames Meghan”  And there it is. These stories always come around to someone blaming it all on Meghan. This one took some time, but it got there eventually. At this point there are three possible explanations for all this Meghan-blaming: 1. She messes up constantly. 2. The royals have ridiculously high standards, or  3. The tabloid media is awful and fabricates these reports on a daily basis. We’re guessing it’s a combo of 2 and 3 in at least 99 percent of cases. Cameron Boyce Honored by Sister: I Was There Just Hours Before He Died …

Over the weekend, beloved Disney star Cameron Boyce died in his sleep after suffering  a devastating seizure. Fans and friends are in mourning, but no one could feel this loss more keenly than his family. Now his younger sister, 17-year-old Maya Boyce, is speaking out about her brother’s tragic passing. “Yes, he died. Yes, I’m sad,” Maya’s beautiful tribute begins. She affirms that “Cameron was my best friend.” “He is someone I will always idolize,” Maya gushes. “His smile could light up a room, unlike anyone else’s,” she notes. Simply put, Maya writes: “He was perfect.” “He always said that if you have a voice,” Maya recalls. “You have the privilege of using that voice for change.” And he did. His advocacy for good causes earned both praise and mourning from Michelle Obama . “And,” Maya continues. “He did not take that idea lightly.” “He understood his responsibility as someone so many kids would look up to,” she adds. Maya praises: “Cameron always went out of his way to be giving and kind.” “He did more with his 20 years of life,” Maya asserts. “Than most people ever could with 100 years.” You know what? We don’t doubt it. “He was actively charitable,” Maya explains. “He traveled the world.” “He made creativity and art his life’s mission,” she says of her older brother. “And he encouraged others to do the same.” That is beautiful and inspirational. Maya acknowledges: “Of course, I am devastated.” “I will be for the rest of my life,” she affirms. Anyone who has ever lost a sibling knows how true those words can be. “But,” Maya writes. “What I’m holding onto, and what I encourage you to hold onto as well, is the memory of his endless optimism.” “He was sunlight wearing shoes,” she characterizes. Sadness, she explains, does not mean that she — or her family — want to see everyone moping. In fact, Cameron wouldn’t want that, either. “I can confidently say: he wants us to celebrate, grow, and persevere,” Maya tells anyone reading. “Yes, he died,” she repeats. “And yes, I’m sad.” “I’m also happy,” Maya adds. “And grateful.” “I was with him hours before he died,” Maya reveals to the world. She characterizes the encounter: “It was normal and fun.” “We said ‘I love you,'” Maya recalls. She adds: “He was happy.” We don’t doubt that for a single moment. “I spent 17 years knowing what it was like to be loved by Cameron Boyce,” Maya expresses. Her powerful tribute concludes: “That is the most beautiful gift I have ever received.” That is an incredibly evocative tribute to her late brother. It also offers the entire world a glimpse into their beautiful sibling dynamic. Clearly, Cameron was not the only one who had a bright, loving soul or who could inspire kindness in others. Maya may feel that her brother left some big shoes to fill, but she’s clearly inspirational in her own right. Our thoughts and best wishes continue to be with Cameron’s family and loved ones at this difficult time. View Slideshow: Celebrities Who Died in 2019: In Memoriam

Candy’s Death On ‘Pose’ Embodies The Dreams Deferred Of All The Black Trans Women We’ve Lost

Read this article:

Source: Pose / FX Networks WARNING: Major spoilers ahead for episode 4 of “Pose:” If it felt that in the second season of Pose Candy Ferocity ( Angelica Ross ) was growing and developing into something bigger and better, you were not alone. While in the hit ballroom drama, Candy has always struggled, especially with choosing the correct category, she’d come a long way. Yes, she is still a mean girl who can read the girls and even threaten folks with that infamous hammer of hers, but she’s evolved a bit. She’s no longer the girl having strangers in basements inject faulty silicon in her rear, nor is she tagging behind former house mother Elektra Abundance Evangelista Wintour ( Dominique Jackson ) feeding off her scraps. Ms. Candy—as Pray Tell ( Billy Porter ) would say—had stepped up to become a co-mother, molding her own children and house, along with doing her damnedest to carve out her own lasting legacy. And as we jumped three years later to 1990 this season, we see how the girls—rather naively and annoyingly—have faith that Madonna’s hit song “Vogue” would bring them all from the shadows of this underground world into the  bright lights of the Big Apple. As Candy said, she needed to the first one in the line of that mainstream gaze, because she has bigger dreams than winning trophies in the face category. She was destined to become a star in the outside world. She was looking to the future. Source: Pose / FX Networks Of course, we all wanted that for her, to see her rise and be successful like Angel (Indya Moore ), but in the fourth episode “ Never Knew Love Like This Before,” we realize that Candy “is never coming home.” Days after she’d gone missing, her bruised and bloody body was found, thrown in a seedy hotel closet like yesterday’s trash. See, Candy had to engage in survival sex work to keep her house afloat, but this time around, the danger too many vulnerable women like her face is what ended her life. Granted, it’s not like death is new to Pose . But the majority of those deaths have been from complications of AIDS, mostly taking the lives of Black and Latinx men. Meanwhile, many of the girls (outside of Blanca) seemed unscathed by the virus on-screen. But as Angelica Ross recently told me this season co-creator Ryan Murphy was clear that this season they would no longer be viewing these women’s world through “rose colored glasses.” But thankfully, her death wasn’t treated like an afterthought like Tara from True Blood or with blatant disregard like Missandei on Game of Thrones). As I recently pointed out for Shondaland , Candy’s storyline was treated with “the love, dignity and respect it deserved.” During Candy’s memorial, her fierce-as-ever ghost appeared in order to make amends with frenemies like Pray Tell, encourage Angel to carry on her torch to the next generation of trans girls like her and to reunite with her estranged parents who had refused to see their son as the woman she was born to be. Most importantly, Candy was no longer the butt of the ball’s jokes. In her final scene, she was able to fulfill her biggest goal before crossing over: To be the queen of the ballroom in a category she knew she could conquer, lip-syncing. But it’s important to point out that this stunning (and triggering moment) in television was also an example of art imitating life. In the iconic 1990 documentary Paris Is Burning , which Pose is heavily inspired by, Venus Xtravaganza’  promising life was ended short when her body was found in a “sleazy motel” four days after she’d been strangled. Like Candy, her killer was never caught. One would think that with time comes progress, but for trans women, specifically Black and Latinx trans women like Candy and Venus, that isn’t always the case. Yes, they are more visible in pop culture, but being seen doesn’t translate into safety. Just this year alone, eleven Black trans women in the U.S. have been murdered : Dana Martin. Jazzaline Ware. Ashanti Carmon. Claire Legato. Muhlaysia Booker. Michelle “Tamika” Washington. Paris Cameron. Chynal Lindsey. Chanel Scurlock. Zoe Spears. Brooklyn Lindsey. What’s even worse is that it’s estimated that the average lifespan for trans women is only 35-years-old. Think if that were the case for cisgender Black women. Think if every year you inch closer to 35, you inch closer to death. Every time you blow out your birthday candles you are reminded of ALL the years, happiness and dreams that will be robbed from you because you are brave enough to live your truth. That’s the real tragedy. All that potential, just lost. All of the gifts they can offer and receive from this world, gone. This is exactly what Candy’s fictional death represents—the dreams deferred of the real-life Black trans women we’ve lost and will continue to lose to this senseless, transphobic and crippling violence. Sadly, it’s happening on our watch. So if there was ever a time to stand up for Black trans women, it’s now. Now is the time to love and support our sisters by fighting for a better and more welcoming world that allows for them to live their fullest and longest lives. We owe them that. Most importantly, now is the time to ensure that when we say the names of the Candys of this world, we’re not just doing it in death, but celebrating them in life. Avril Lavigne Accused of Betraying Christ, Promoting Devil-Worship in New Song

Late last year, legendary singer Avril Lavigne was fending off rumors that she had died and been replaced by a clone . Now, people with wild theories are once again coming for her, but this time the accusations are a little less scifi . Avril is promoting her new music, and fans are accusing her of denying Jesus and selling her soul to the devil. Back in February, Avril Lavigne dropped her new track: “I Fell in Love with the Devil.” “I fell in love with the devil / And now I’m in trouble / I fell in love with the devil / I’m underneath his spell (ah),” the lyrics read. The lyrics continue: “Someone send me an angel / To lend me a halo / I fell in love with the devil / Please, save me from this hell.” “Angels and devils always fight over me (fight over me) / Take me to heaven, wake me up from this dream,” Avril sings. Her lyrics go on: “Even in sunlight a cloud shadows over me (shadow over me) / It’s now or never, wake me up from this dream.” Now, she is sharing photos believed to be either outtakes or behind-the-scenes glimpses at her music video. In the images, she wears long robes of black while standing in the woods. She is holding a truly massive cross clutched in her hands. To fans who have followed her since the early 2000s, she is looking every bit the gothic-chic look to which she aspires. And, for the record, she spoke out about he Christian faith, thanking God for her life during her Lyme disease battle several years ago. But Avril’s history and a common sense understanding that lyrics tend to be poetic rather than literal did not seem to influence some haters. “You need Jesus,” accused one follower, who noted that they also despise another recent song, “Head Above Water.” “God saved you and blessed you with another opportunity to choose,” the comment continued. “Now you have this crap? Man, what a shame.” “I’ve been a fan since you came out, [but] this is a turnoff,” the hater declared. “Get your soul right with Jesus.” “[He’s the] only one who can save you,” the former fan wrote. “Yet you hold his cross and blaspheme his name? I pray for your salvation.” “Are you Christian?” another follower demanded to know. “Or are you mocking of Jesus?” Oh boy. “I’ll [have] to unfollow you now,” another fan declared. “How can you fall in love with Devil when God created you with amazing talent, which made [you] so famous?” the way too serious follow asked. “Thank God for the blessings, not Devil,” the commenter concluded. “God, keep my head above water,” reads a quote from Avril’s other recent single. But clearly, that was not enough of a declaration for some of her followers. “God, keep my head above water…falls in love with the devil? Ummmm k. No, thanks,” wrote another goofy hater. The comment continued: “He’s not someone to be playing with. But you do you.” Well that last part was kind of nice, even if they were being sarcastic. “Still think her ‘Head Above Water’ is about God?” asked one follower, hoping to be seen by fans. “Nope.” “You need Jesus, young lady,” admonished another. “So disappointing to see you playing with religious symbols,” another decried. That same comment added: “I’m a huge fan, but I don’t really, really like it because I am a Christian.” For the record, actual religious minorities who are marginalized see their religious symbols misued across almost all media. In this case, it’s not even clear that that’s happening. It’s a Christian woman with a cross. “A lot of you guys are saying about how Avril is making fun of God and making satanic references by this song and photo,” a defender observed. “The metaphor, ‘I fell in love with the devil,’ means that she fell in love with a bad person and she was in a toxic relationship with them,” the comment reasoned. “Another example of this is her song, ‘Birdie,'” the actual fan with reading comprehension wrote. The explanation continued: “She is basically saying that she fell in love with a bad person.” “And,” the defender adds. “She is praying to God to help her manage and break free when she says, ‘Someone send me an angel.'” “So don’t comment s–t before you actually listen to and understand the song,” the fan concluded.

Mariah Carey Stuns Fans, Reveals Limited Number of Sexual Partners

Mariah Carey may or may not have been involved with a Satantic cult as a kid . But the iconic singer has now opened way up to Cosmopolitan and revealed the exact number of men with whom she has been involved. In a biblical sense. By which we mean the following: Carey has told the world just how many sexual partners she’d had in her life. And while there is no right or wrong answer to this question, of course, Mariah’s response is garnering national attention for two seasons: 1. How many celebrities have just come right out and revealed this information to the public?!? 2. For someone who looks like Mariah Carey and for someone as rich and famous as Mariah Carey… the answer is surprisingly low. “I haven’t had that many, but there has been a variety pack,” Carey said at the outset of her response to this question, prior to just spitting out the figure: “I’ve only been with five people in my life, so I’m kind of a prude, honestly, compared to most others in the field.” (Notice the not-so-subtle shade she hurled here at other pop stars? All bow down before this Queen Diva, folks. Seriously: Do it!) Carey is currently dating herf ormer backup dancer, Bryan Tanaka. So there’s one person, if we safely assume the two have engaged in sexual intercourse.  Carey as also married back in the 1990s to Sony Music mogul Tommy Mottola — and she has twins with ex-husband Nick Cannon, meaning they fornicated on at least one occasion. We’re as sure as a celebrity gossip website can be that Carey also dated Derek Jeter awhile ago as well, which leaves just one open spot spot in her bedroom boinking list. We’d say it’s none of our business to think about such a personal topic, but hey: Mariah is the one who brought it up! (UPDATE: Carey was also engaged to James Packer ! There you go! There’s the five!) Tanaka is much younger than Mariah — but Mottola was significantly older, which is likely what prompted the singer to remark on the “variety” of men that have seen her in her birthday suit while she either writhed around on top of them or spread her legs for them via the missionary position. “You might want to picture a child bride,” she told Cosmo of her first marriage, adding: “There was a conscious effort to keep me as this all-American, whatever that means, girl. It was very controlled. “There was no freedom for me as a human being. It was almost like being a prisoner.” Yikes . Elsewhere, along with sort of slut-shaming other artists in her industry, Carey detailed all the obstacles she had to overcome in order to make it huge. “They have no idea what I went through as a child to even get to be an 18-year-old girl with a record deal,” she explains. “This was before you could just go on YouTube and sing.” She continued: “A lot of artists say they write, but they don’t really write. No offense to anybody. That’s just what I’ve seen.”
