Amber Portwood is in trouble with the law. This much we know to be a fact. She just got arrested for felony domestic violence after allegedly attacking boyfriend Andrew Glennon early on the morning of July 5. A dispatch recording confirms that Glennon told authorities Amber didn't merely assault him , either. She did so while he was cradling their one-year old son in his arms. What will this mean for Amber as a free woman? She could be headed for prison . What will this mean for Amber as a single woman? Is she about to become one? The police have since confirmed that Amber (allegedly) attacked Andrew three hours before her arrest — and that he was holding their one-year old son, James, in his arms while she did so. 4. You Can Text 911 in Indiana And this is what a dispatcher said about what transpired: “I received a text message from somebody saying that their life and their son’s life is in danger.” So, yes, the attack sounds VERY serious. 5. On Saturday, July 6, Kylie Jenner took to Instagram to share a new pic. The 21-year-old MILF wore a Christian Cowan outfit for the photo alongisde Versace shade. The outfit isn’t what made the photo controversial, however. Kylie was photographed leaning against part of her massive and wildly expensive car collection on her sprawling driveway. The opulent collection includes a Range Rover and two different Lamborghinis. Even some of Kylie’s own fans thought that the display of mega-wealth was a little much. Some of her critics took to Instagram’s comments to give her a piece of their minds. “Sorry billionaire,” accused one comment. “Love flexing on the peasants don’t you?” “Modern Day Cancer this family is,” another wrote furiously. Cancer is unfortunately not a thing of the past and very much modern day, for the record. “Really. Why do you want the world to see what you have,” asked one commenter. That same follower continued: Are you rubbing our face in it!!! Well good for you. Enjoy now because you can’t take it with you.” Not all religions believe in an afterlife in which earthly possessions are left behind, but the Kardashians are Christians, so that fits. “Bruuhh… why’d u need so many cars??” asked another follower. “You can flaunt them as you want,” the commenter acknowledged. “But having one luxury car is enough.” Others suggested that Kylie could use her famous riches for the betterment of the world. “Wonder what would happen if you put some of that money into helping other people instead of just yourself,” speculated one follower. That’s fair enough. It doesn’t sound like that person resents her wealth, but is just thinking of positive uses for it. “Thinking the same,” another comment reads. “Displaying so much wealth you can’t help thinking about helping others.” Keep in mind that Kylie has never been anything but extremely rich in her life, even in infancy. To her, being in need is probably an abstract concept. Kylie did have her usual flood of compliments, of course — the critics were in the minority. She also had her ardent defenders. “I’m sure she gave back to whomever she chose to,” suggests one fan without providing any evidence. “And still bought every car of her choice!” the defender continues. “She can’t help if her reality sounds like she’s bragging!” suggests the comment, which concludes: “Bosssss!!!!” One of the nice things about being a billionaire, aside from having more wealth than thousands of random people combined, is your defenders. People will crawl out of the woodwork to invent fanfiction about what you “probably’ do with your money in the face of any criticism. With a celebrity like Kylie, this effect is greatly magnified. But billionaires don’t need anyone to defend them. If they do, they can hire someone to do it. If someone who is having to skip meals or carefully plan out their budget between paychecks gets annoyed at Kylie’s car collection, just let them vent. Meghan King Edmonds has penned a blog entry in which she opens up about something personal and painful. Titled “My Hart,” this post by the former Real Housewives of Orange County star delves in the state of Hart, one of her twin boys, who was born along with brother Hayes in June of 2018. “From the minute he was born I knew something was different with Hart,” wrote the long-time Bravo personality over this past weekend, adding: “The nurses struggled to straighten his legs to measure his length. He suckled hard, shallow, and often until I bled and he spit up black.” Edmonds, who was recently in the news because her husband has been accused of having an affair while she was pregnant with these boys, went on to write that she took Hart to see a pediatric ophthalmologist for a couple of reasons: He couldn’t see his hands, for example, and his eyes remained crossed for too long. The reality star says she was told nothing was the matter with Hart, but she refused to accept this as an answer. “I just knew,” Meghan continues. “I told our pediatrician – she said he was fine. I begged for a neurologist referral and when I got it – he said he was fine. I then begged for a neurologist who specializes in Cerebral Palsy (I jumped through hoops to get this appointment, so many hoops) and she said he might be fine. “I then begged for an MRI.” Via “an elective MRI with anesthesia,” as Edmonds describes it, a diagnosis was finally made. “I sat at a table with my husband for an hour as we waited for Hart to come out of the MRI. Tears gushed from my eyes as I blankly stared at the cars on the highway – but I wasn’t crying,” she recalled in this blog post. “My husband asked me what he could do. ‘Get me a Coke.’ Those tears were for a lot of things, but mostly the unknown and mostly Hart.” Three days after the exam, the toddler’s neurologist called. He relayed the awful news. “Hart has minor Periventricular Leukomalacia on both sides of his brain (namely the white matter), but more so on his right,” Edmonds revealed, explaining in further detail: “She said that this explains all of my concerns: the rigidity in his muscles, the (somewhat) delayed physical milestones, the lack of fluidity with arm and leg movements, the stiffness in joints, the weakness in his lower back, the somewhat favored use of his right side. “She told me this mainly occurs in premies and since he was not a premie (he was born at 37 weeks gestation) she believes this damage somehow occurred ‘a couple months before he was born.’ “She explained that he is at risk for being diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy and will be monitored.” Edmonds previously opened up about her reaction to her husband’s misdeeds . But this admission is even more raw and unimaginable. “Hart has irreversible brain damage, it’s called PVL,” Meghan says. “Like I said, I already knew.” Referencing her husband and his reaction, along with how she chose to view the situation, Edmonds adds: “That night Jimmy and I went out to dinner for the first time in weeks. “I explained to Jimmy how we are not somehow compromised or punished for having a child with special needs (whatever that may or may not mean!), we are BLESSED. I will go on about this another time but just know that I do not see his diagnosis as anything but a gift: we were chosen to take on this special person. “I truly feel as if we’ve doubled down and won the underdog hand. Truly.” And Edmonds is stillt trying tomake the best out of the situation. She’s still trying to remain as positive as possible. “I pray for a miracle and I grapple with how to navigate his life,” she wrote. “This is a heavy challenge as a mother: where do we go from here? This is where: one foot in front of the other.” We applaud Edmonds for her candid post and we send her and her loved ones the very best during this difficult journey.

YIKES A spokesperson for the Indiana Police Department spoke to Radar Online and confirmed what led to Portwood’s arrest, telling the celebrity gossip website: “I received a text message from somebody saying that their life and their son’s life is in danger. During which time the female, later identified as Amber Portwood, assaulted him, while he was holding their 1-year-old child.” 3. Now What? Portwood was taken into custody on a FELONY charge of domestic violence. She is due in court for a hearing on July 8. 4. There’s a History Here A pretty major one: Amber was arrested back on 2010 for also attacking then-boyfriend Gary Shirley. 5. She Went to Jail for the Act After violating terms of her probation by taking drugs, Portwood spent 17 months in prison, starting in early 2013. 6. But Gary is Here for Her Now In a way. H ouston-based artist Shirley Scarpetta is ensuring that the memory of Maleah Davis is kept alive. In honor of the four-year-old, whose body was discovered in Arkansas just over a month ago, Scarpetta is creating a bronze sculpture in her likeness, CNN reported. As a mother, she couldn’t even begin to imagine having something so tragic happen to her children and was extremely upset upon hearing that Maleah lost her life. Scarpetta says Maleah serves as a representation of children who were taken from this earth too soon and that violence against children must stop; that’s the message she wanted to convey through her artistry. “It’s for all of us. Our children are so vulnerable, and people need to be reminded to leave a legacy of kindness and loving one another,” she said in a statement, according to CNN. A private donor is helping bring the sculpture to fruition and it will take about a month to complete. There aren’t any details about where the sculpture will live after its finished, but it most likely will be in Houston. Scarpetta has been showing the progression of the sculpture on Instagram. “I couldn’t get her out of my head for a while now. When this happens, I usually have an out of body experience and have to sculpt it,” she posted . “Her tragedy should not have happened. There are plans in the works to have the Red Lake Road overpass in Hempstead County named after her. Maleah went missing on April 30 and her remains were found on May 31 in Fulton, Arkansas. In the case, her mother’s fiancé Derion Vence was charged with tampering with a corpse but has evaded more serious charges.
