Naomi Campbell Reacts to Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Vogue Cover

The Kim Kardashian-Kanye West Vogue cover continues to be a topic of discussion worldwide. People really cannot wrap their head around the fact that a reality star would ever be featured on so esteemed a fashion magazine. (Nevermind the fact that Kim and Kanye both have fashion lines…) The latest to sound off? Naomi Campbell. But she’s a little more diplomatic and reserved in her response than Sarah Michelle Gellar was on Twitter when she threatened to cancel her subscription to the magazine. Naomi Campbell Unamused by Kim Kardashian, Kanye West Vogue Cover When asked about the KimYe cover, Naomi Campbell declined to respond, eventually saying “I’m a fashion model and I’ve been working for 28 years.” “When you get a Vogue cover, it’s a build in your career…. a stepping stone to achieve that.” That wasn’t a good enough answer for the hosts of Australia’s  The Morning Show. They went on to ask “Kim and Kanye haven’t earned the right to be on the cover of  Vogue ?” “Those are your words, not mine. I’m being politically correct,” Campbell replied. Campbell has graced the cover of  Vogue 5 times in her storied, 28-year modeling career. She knows a thing or two about the fashion world and that magazine in particular. (And whacking assistants in the head with cell phones, but that’s another story for another day…) The media firestorm surrounding the  Vogue cover has been both hilarious and disheartening. Seth Rogen and James Franco’s spoof cover wins in the hilarity column. Anna Wintour, the magazine’s editor, wrote a public letter stating that Kanye West did not pay or beg Wintour to put his fiance’ on the cover of the magazine. She experienced first-hand what it feels like to be a forgotten victim of Jamaica’s painful economic situation. She has since devoted her life to finding homeless children, raising them as her own, and giving them new opportunities. It’s her goal to take children off the streets and integrate them into school systems, giving them a foundation to build a wonderful life. Annmarie has helped numerous people turn their lives around. She has provided a home to women stuck in prostitution circles, drug addicts, and others. She not only takes troubled people off the streets, but she also helps them thrive in society! James Rebhorn Obituary Written By Actor Himself: Read His Moving, Heartfelt Goodbye

Veteran character actor James Rebhorn died on Friday from skin cancer at the age of 65, but not before a final curtain call of sorts: his own obituary. James Rebhorn’s career is familiar to many fans of film and television, spanning decades and comprised of quality roles too numerous to list here. But with his obituary, we have been given a rare glimpse into his life, as written by Rebhorn himself. While tragic, it is also quite wonderful in a sense. Read the actor’s farewell in his own words below … James Robert Rebhorn was born on Sept. 1, 1948, in Philadelphia, PA. His mother, Ardell Frances Rebhorn, nee Hoch, loved him very much and supported all his dreams. She taught him the value of good manners and courtesy, and that hospitality is no small thing. His father, James Harry Rebhorn, was no less devoted to him. From him, Jim learned that there is no excuse for poor craftsmanship. A job well done rarely takes more or less time than a job poorly done. They gave him his faith and wisely encouraged him to stay in touch with God . He is survived by his sister, Janice Barbara Galbraith, of Myrtle Beach, SC. She was his friend, his confidant, and, more often than either of them would like to admit, his bridge over troubled waters. He is also survived by his wife, Rebecca Fulton Linn, and his two daughters, Emma Rebecca Rebhorn and Hannah Linn Rebhorn. They anchored his life and gave him the freedom to live it. Without them, always at the center of his being, his life would have been little more than a vapor. Rebecca loved him with all his flaws, and in her the concept of ceaseless love could find no better example. His children made him immensely proud. Their dedication to improving our species and making the world a better place gave him hope for the future. They deal with grief differently, and they should each manage it as they see fit. He hopes, however, that they will grieve his passing only as long as necessary. They have much good work to do, and they should get busy doing it. Time is flying by. His son-in-law, Ben, also survives him. Jim loved Ben, who was as a son to Jim, especially through these last months. His aunts Jean, Dorothy and Florence, numerous cousins and their families, and many devoted friends also survive Jim. He loved them all, and he knows they loved him. Jim received his BA at Wittenberg University and his MFA at Columbia. He was a member of Lambda Chi Alpha Nu Zeta 624, a life-long Lutheran, and a longtime member of both the AMC and ACLU. Jim was fortunate enough to earn his living doing what he loved. He was a professional actor. His unions were always there for him, and he will remain forever grateful for the benefits he gained as a result of the union struggle. Without his exceptional teachers and the representation of the best agents in the business, he wouldn’t have had much of a career. He was 91 years old and will be missed. 12. Ralph Waite Ralph Waite is seen here on NCIS. The actor died at the age of 86. 13. John Henson Picture Rest in peace, John Henson. This member of The Muppets family died in early 2014. 14. Jamie Coots Jamie Coots has died from a snake bite. The reality star appeared on the series Snake Salvation. 15. Michele Savoia Michele Savoia, a famed Broadway costume designer, has passed away at the age of 55. 16. Bob Casale Bob Casale, second from right, was the guitarist for the ’80s band Devo, best known for the hit song “Whip It.” R.I.P. 17. Harold Ramis Harold Ramis passed away at the age of 69. We’ll always adore the actor for his role in Ghostbusters. 18. Jim Lange Jim Lange has passed away. The Dating Game host was 81. 19. As for who Brandi would like to portray her on screen? Katherine Heigl! Her reasoning includes the fact that no one likes Heigl … or herself. “I know people don’t like her , but I think Katherine Heigl is adorable. She’s unlikable, but you always want someone a little prettier than you to play you … and she’s way prettier.” Glanville’s guest, Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger weighed in: “She is un-liked in Hollywood. No one wants to finance her film. But she’s like you: bitchy, says what she means and is really gorgeous,” Stanger admitted. “I bet if you’d approached Katherine Heigl, she’d say yes.” “Katherine if you’re listening,” she went on, ” Brandi Glanville would like you to play her in the movie of her life. With the  Kim Kardashian Vogue cover still causing a major online stir, this reality star took a couple hours over the weekend to help her friend celebrate an impending birth. Kim stopped by Ciara’s baby shower and posed for an Instagram photo with the singer and LaLa Anthony, captioning the following image as follows: “Celebrating @Ciara’s baby shower today with @lala #mommymemories.” Kim, of course, can relate to the joy about to come Ciara’s way, having give birth to North West in July. Kris Jenner was also on hand for the occasion and took a picture of her own, writing along with it:  “Mamma Kris In The Building! #SelfieFun:)” Fun times, but not nearly as fun for Kardashian as her landing of the aforementioned Vogue issue. “This is such a dream come true!!! Is Prince Charles NEVER going to get his day to rule? Sources tell the Globe that Queen Elizabeth is going to skip over her son and his wife Camilla entirely when she gives up the throne. They report coronation plans for Prince William and Duchess Kate Middleton are already in motion, set to take place in June 2015. I’m not going to say I think Globe is totally making this up – in the world of the British royals almost nothing would surprise me – but they’re probably making this up. Passing over a legitimate heir for no actual reason is basically unheard of. Abdicating? Fine. But that would be up to Prince Charles and would probably cause a huge scandal. The royals will do ANYTHING to avoid a scandal. I think it’s more likely QEII will just REFUSE to die until after Prince Charles kicks it, so never does become king. Poor guy. Mr. Bobby Ray was a guest of honor at most of the hottest rap shows at South By’s 28th annual blowout including Nas’ Illmatic warmup and the Brisk Bodega all-star bash. Yahoo’s Show was no different. Headlined by a non-microphone-throwing 2 Chainz, B.o.B entertained with hits of days past and his latest album Underground Luxury, before working up a feverish sweat. The Nikki Ferrell of old would never have put up with the kind of stuff Juan Pablo is subjecting her to now, according to her ex-boyfriend Ryan McDill. The 26-year-old pediatric nurse has stood happily by her man, despite The Bachelor’s refusal to propose or even say he loves her in a public setting. Critics have questioned the relationship of Juan Pablo Galavis and Nikki Ferrell , as many also feel he’s just a jerk.
