Andi Dorfman as The Bachelorette: First Photo!

Andi Dorfman didn’t take crap from Juan Pablo Galavis on The Bachelor (the same can’t be said for Nikki Ferrell, according to the winner’s ex). Whatever you think of Nikki, Andi infamously dropped Juan Pablo like a bad habit and will soon take her no-nonsense approach to The Bachelorette . ABC released the first photo of her in the starring role today: “I am incredibly excited to be The Bachelorette … never did I think this would happen to me!” Dorfman, a 26-year-old Assistant D.A. from Atlanta, said. “I am looking forward to traveling the world and going on amazing dates with amazing men. And hopefully, one of them ends up being the love of my life.” Already a fan favorite for being funny, successful, strong and stunningly beautiful, Andi Dorfman took it to a new level on the penultimate Bachelor episode. After Juan Pablo made inappropriate comments during their “nightmare” overnight date, Andi gave him the third degree like she’d cross examine a witness. While the cameras rolled, Dorfman told off El Bachelor in epic fashion. Clare Crawley only wishes she could go back and do the same thing. After The Bachelor breakup to end all breakups, Andi peaced, but eesss okay, she’ll get her chance to hand out roses and Nikki wants to be with him somehow. Say it ain’t so, Star Magazine! According to the latest issue of this supermarket tabloid,  Keeping Up with the Kardashians Season 9 may mark the end of this reality series because Kim is “pulling the plug.” An anonymous insider tells Star that Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian had a “vicious fight” while filming the series in Miami on March 11, one that culminated with Kim referring to her siblings “idiots.” She added:  You would be nothing without me . OUCH! Harsh, but semi-true. In reality, none of them would be anything without the Kim Kardashian sex tape . In February, chatter did spring up that Kim might quit the series (partly because Kanye West finds it tacky), but she took to her blog and assuaged viewers with the following post: “We are extremely proud of the show and all of us are staying on through at least season 10. The show remains to be my number 1 priority and it’s a big part of my life and I enjoy every moment of it.” And she has about 40 million reasons to stick around for awhile.

Apollo Nida to Plead Guilty, Avoid Jail Time in Identity Theft Case?

Apollo Nida is nearing plea deal with the government just two months after his arrest for identity theft, bank fraud, and conspiracy charges, reports indicate. Will that be enough to keep The Real Housewives of Atlanta star out of jail? As is the case with fellow Bravo star Teresa Giudice, all of this remains unclear. Nida, Phaedra Parks’ husband and the guy Kenya Moore wants to bone ( watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta online for more on that), was arrested in January. On February 14, the court set a pre-trial date of March 25. Since that time, his attorneys “and counsel for the government have been engaged in discussions,” newly filed court documents obtained by Radar reveal. “They are still in the process of investigating additional facts and negotiating a resolution,” and “have made substantial progress toward a resolution.” Does that mean he’ll cop a plea and avoid the slammer? It’s not yet known, but the court agreed to yet another extension, up until April 25, in the hopes that Apollo Nida will be able to come to a deal with the government. The new extension ensures he will have “sufficient time to consult with his counsel, investigate all material, and continue said discussions with the government.” Think he’ll skate? Should he? Charlie Sheen to Denise Richards: Get Outta My House NOW!

Charlie Sheen is going for Denise Richards’ jugular … or at least her house, according to TMZ. He’s cut her off financially and is kicking her out of her house. Denise was getting $55,000 a month in court-ordered support for their girls, Lola and Sam. In January, he paid half of that. Since then … nothing. Sheen bought the house in question for Richards back in 2011 so she and the kids would be close to him. But things have clearly soured in recent months. Charlie has told Denise he’s selling the house and wants her out immediately, while not masking the fact that he is retaliating against her. Why, you ask? The Warlock believes Denise is keeping Sam and Lola from him . Denise says that’s false, she just doesn’t drop everything to give Charlie the kids. If he feels like having them on a whim, great, but it’s not that simple as their full-time caretaker. She also took care of his two sons for a LONG time. Richards, who was the de facto guardian of Bob and Max during the Brooke Mueller saga, also wants to be present when Charlie has the children. That doesn’t sit well with Sheen either, needless to say. His take on the situation is basically ” less me, less child support .” Mature is not the right word. As for her response to his ultimatum, sources say Denise is gearing up to fight Charlie in court. He’s not paying child support, and is very, very wealthy. In other words, whatever spiteful excuse he’s going to make is not going to cut it as far as a judge is concerned, and she’s willing to dig in here. A day in the life …

Revenge star Emily VanCamp opens up about her childhood and her love life, and looks fabulous as always, in the April issue of In Style Australia. The actress, who grew up in a rural town in Ontario, recalled that her mom’s disciplinary measures include locking her and sisters out of the house. In freezing temperatures. “Are you kidding me?” she laughed. “We come from tough stock. It gets freezing but you’d just see little snowsuits running around. It was part of my childhood that shaped me.” Things are different now. If you watch Revenge online , you know that VanCamp’s namesake character Emily Thorne and Daniel Grayson, played by Josh Bowman, were once a thing. VanCamp and Bowman have been an item for a few years. What The Hell? Chinese Woman Lived With Bullet In Her Head For 48 Years

Wait, what? Woman Survives With Bullet In Her Head For 48 Years Most people couldn’t live 48 seconds with a bullet in their head! According to Want China Times: A 62-year-old woman in northeast China has had surgery to remove a bullet that had been lodged in her head for 48 years without her knowledge, according to local news website Nen.com.cn. A doctor at the First Hospital of China Medical University, a hospital affiliated with the university in Shenyang in northeastern China’s Liaoning province, successfully extracted a bullet 2.5cm long and 0.5cm in diameter from the head of the woman, surnamed Zhao. Over the past 10 years, Zhao has experienced a chronic stuffy nose, headaches and swollen lymph nodes. She has relied on anti-inflammatory drugs to relieve the pain. After undergoing the surgery, she realized that what she thought was a small stone that struck her right temple when she was 14 years old was actually a stray bullet. “I am happy that the bullet did not kill me, I am grateful to it for allowing me to live and have the opportunity of my life with my family,” Zhao said. Earlier, Zhao had gone to be examined after the pain in her nose became increasingly unbearable and a doctor found there was a metal object inside her nose. This doctor told her it would be necessary to cut her nose and upper lip to remove it, but Zhao was scared of the thought of surgery and did not proceed at that time. Eventually, however, the pain became too great and Zhao decided to undergo surgery. The doctor who operated on her did not cut her nose and upper lip to take out the bullet, but instead used a minimally invasive procedure. We don’t get how she could repeatedly tolerate massive headaches and a painful stuffy nose for an entire decade. She’s one strong woman.

Scott Asheton Dead; Stooges Drummer Was 64

Scott Asheton, the drummer for the influential punk rock band the Stooges, has died at age 64. His rep confirmed the tragedy but no details were provided. Asheton was part of the Stooges when they formed in 1967 in Ann Arbor, Mich. His older brother, Ron Asheton, was the group’s guitarist. He died in 2009. Bandleader Iggy Pop posted on his Facebook page Sunday that he’s “never heard anyone play the drums with more meaning than Scott Asheton.” “He was like my brother,” Pop said. “He and Ron have left a huge legacy to the world. The Ashetons have always been and continue to be a second family to me.” The rocker concluded of his friend, “My thoughts are with his sister Kathy, his wife Liz and his daughter Leanna, who was the light of his life.” Asheton suffered from undisclosed illnesses as far back as 2011 and was unable to perform at summer music festivals in Europe with the Stooges. “He was on a flight to England when all sorts of hell broke loose,” Pop told Rolling Stone . “Without proper medical attention right there he would have bought it.” “He got very, very good care from the British and all sorts of tests.” While the Stooges weren’t a commercial success, they went on to become one of the significant bands in punk, giving way to a generation of punk musicians. Man Chains Himself To Highway Rest Stop To Protest Its Closure Really??? According to CBS Chicago: A 21-year-old Crystal Lake man staged a one-man protest Friday morning over the permanent closing this weekend of the Des Plaines Oasis along the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway. The reason will no doubt come as a surprise. WBBM Newsradio’s Mike Krauser reports Kevin Walters chained himself to the door of the oasis, and said to understand why, you have to go back more than two decades. “It is a weird story, I must admit. About 21 years ago, my parents were at a Phil Collins concert here in Chicago, and one thing led to another. They ended up at the oasis … and I was conceived there,” he said. Asked how his parents went about telling him that, Walters said “it just sort of came out just randomly in conversation.” “They were like, ’Oh yeah, hey, we never really told you how you were born, or your conception,’ and my parents are weird people, so it’s not that surprising,” he said. Kandi Sets Wedding Date For April 4th But Mama Joyce Is Not Happy Via RadarOnline reports: The Real Housewives of Atlanta star is going to tie the knot with her fiancé on April 4 in front of Bravo cameras but her mother, known for throwing things when she gets angry, has assured Radar that she does not approve of her daughter’s choice in husbands. “I am not excited but I am going,” Mama Joyce told Radar about the wedding extravaganza. “It’s not my wedding. If she is happy then I am happy for her. If that’s who she wants to marry then I’m happy. As long as she is happy I am happy.” Doth the lady protest too much? “Kandi says she is happy so I just have to go by what she says,” her mother conceded. Mama Joyce did say she won’t be interrupting the ceremony, despite her dislike of Tucker. “I’m not going to stand up when they ask if anyone has any objections. I don’t have anything to say. Everyone knows how I feel.” The RHOA star also said that she is praying she is wrong about her son-in-law-to-be. “I hope that I can say ‘I’m glad Kandi didn’t listen to me and this is the man she has been waiting for all her life.’” Another bombshell Mama Joyce dropped is that Kandi wants to have more children, and that she will love them no matter what. “Their father doesn’t make no difference to me. If she adopted, had another child with Todd, I will love it.” As for filming the wedding, Mama Joyce told Radar she’s a pro. “I’m used to cameras, they’ve been around for the last five or six years.
