Allow us to explain: Last Friday, a woman named Lauren Bishop Vranch discovered a stuffed lion sitting all by his lonesome during a train ride at Kings Cross. Upon handing it over to a train employee, Lauren was told the item would just be left someplace random… and she was having none of that! So Lauren took the lion with her to Newcastle and posted a photo of him on Twitter, including along with it a caption that read: “Found this well loved little dude on an East Coast train at Kings Cross – let’s find the owner, Twitter!” She then Tweeted various other pictures of the lion in various locales, from a pub to a hotel room to a riverside bench. Seriously, the little fake guy enjoyed quite the weekend! Eventually – incredibly! – the father of the girl who lost the lion came across this Spotted: On The Train’s Facebook page and responded, saying his child’s name is Phoebe, the lion’s name is Roar and adding: “WOW the power of the internet and kind folk – that’s my daughter Phoebes bear – she has been in tears all weekend and I’ve just shown her the picture and she is over the moon. Thank you all so much!” And here’s a photo of Phoebe and Roar reunited. Pretty awesome, huh?
If you’re going to propose to your girlfriend, a Justin Timberlake concert would make for a memorable venue. Especially if Justin himself MC’s the proposal. This actually happened in Louisville, Kentucky, on Sunday night. After crooning his song, “That Girl,” the pop star stopped his show to help one fan on stage to propose to his girlfriend as the crowd went NUTS! Justin Timberlake Initiates Couple’s Marriage Proposal “Josh called earlier, he’s got something he wants to tell you,” Timberlake said to Kim Martin as he led her and Joshua Clemons onto the stage. Timberlake told Kim that her boyfriend has something to ask her, and Clemons got down on one knee to defeaning applause at the KFC Yum! center. (Yes, that’s a real venue.) Leading the applause was Timberlake himself, who later shared the video of the proposal on YouTube. “And then this happened in Louisville …” he tweeted. A few days mater, Martin is still speechless over this. “I was just like, ‘There’s no way, there’s no way this is happening,'” Martin told Louisville’s WDRB-TV, and it very easily could have not happened. It took Clemons almost 100 emails and phone calls to reach Timberlake’s manager to float the idea. But once they connected, he says JT was down: “Friday, we finally caught each other on the phone then they told me Justin has a big plan and wanted to know if I was ready to do it big and I said, ‘Definitely.'” “I was very surprised he took initiative to help us so much,’” Martin said. After the concert, Timberlake invited the newly engaged couple and Clemons’ young daughter Mia backstage and supplied them all with autographs. Pretty awesome.
It’s been nearly 15 years since music journalist Jim DeRogatis of Chicago Sun-Times was anonymously delivered two videos that would change his life. Those videos depicted R&B star R. Kelly engaging in sexual acts with underage girls. Now the host of the syndicated public radio show and a professor at Columbia College, DeRogatis didn’t just break the story that shocked the nation. He did the only significant reporting on the accusations against Kelly, interviewing hundreds of people over the years, including dozens of women. Women whose lives DeRogatis says were ruined by Kelly, who went unpunished. This summer, leading up to Kelly’s headlining performance at the Pitchfork Music Festival, DeRogatis posted a series of discussions about Kelly’s career. He published a live review of the singer’s festival set that was an indictment of Pitchfork and its audience for essentially endorsing a man he calls “a monster.” In the two weeks since Kelly released his album Black Panties , the conversation about him and why he gets a pass from the media has been rekindled. As part of an exhaustive interview with the Village Voice , DeRogatis gave access to every file and transcript he has collected in reporting this story. DeRogatis speaks frankly when he opines that “the saddest fact I’ve learned is nobody matters less to our society than young black women. Nobody.” “Being a beat reporter, music critic at a Chicago daily, the Sun-Times, R. Kelly was a huge story for me,” he recalls. “I interviewed him a number of times.” “This guy who rose from not graduating from Kenwood Academy, singing at backyard barbecues and on the El, to suddenly selling millions of records.” He wrote in a review that the jarring thing about Kelly is that “one moment he wants to be riding you” and “then next minute he’s on his knees, crying.” Watching Kelly’s overtly sexual performances juxtaposed with “praying to his dead mother for forgiveness for his unnamed sins … it’s a little weird at times.” The next day at the Sun-Times , an anonymous fax came claiming R. Kelly had been under investigation for years by the sex crimes unit of the Chicago police. His first thought was a dismissive “player-hater.” But there were rumors from the beginning that Kelly likes them young, so DeRogatis did some digging. What he found were lawsuits (multiple) “that were explosive” and extremely, graphically detailed and “didn’t understand why nobody had reported them.” DeRogatis writes of the lawsuits filed against Kelly: “They were stomach-churning. The one young woman, 14 or 15 when R. Kelly began a relationship with her, detailed in great length a sexual relationship that began at Kenwood Academy.” “He would go to Lina McLin’s gospel choir class. She’s a legend in Chicago, gospel royalty. He would go to her sophomore class and hook up with girls afterward and have sex with them.” “Sometimes buy them a pair of sneakers. Sometimes just letting them hang out in his presence in the recording studio. She detailed the sexual relationship that she was scarred by.” “It lasted about one and a half to two years, and then he dumped her and she slit her wrists, tried to kill herself. Other girls were involved.” “She recruited other girls. He picked up other girls and made them all have sex together. A level of specificity that was pretty disgusting.” Her lawsuit was hundreds of pages long, and Kelly counter-sued, denying everything. The lawsuits, the two that he had found initially, had been settled. Kelly paid the women and their families money and the settlements were sealed by the court. But of course, the initial lawsuits are public record. The shocking part? Having videos sent to him next. “These were dozens of girls – not one, not two, dozens – with harrowing lawsuits,” he says. “There are videotapes. Not just one videotape, numerous videotapes.” “Not Tommy Lee/Pam Anderson, [ Kim Kardashian sex tape ] fun videos. You watch the video for which he was indicted and there is the disembodied look of the rape victim.” “He orders her to call him Daddy. He urinates in her mouth and instructs her at great length on how to position herself to receive his ‘gift.'” “It’s a rape that you’re watching. So we’re not talking about rock star misbehavior, which men or women can do. We’re talking about predatory behavior.” “Their lives were ruined. Read the lawsuits! There was a young woman that he picked up on the evening of her prom. The relationship lasted a year and a half or two years.” “Impregnated her, paid for her abortion, had his goons drive her.” “None of which she wanted. She sued him. The saddest fact I’ve learned is: Nobody matters less to our society than young black women. Nobody.” “They have any complaint about the way they are treated.”” They are ‘bitches, hos, and gold-diggers,’ plain and simple. Kelly never misbehaved with a single white girl who sued him or that we know of.” “Mark Anthony Neal, the African-American scholar, makes this point: one white girl in Winnetka and the story would have been different.” “No, it was young black girls and all of them settled. They settled because they felt they could get no justice whatsoever. They didn’t have a chance.” “These girls feared for their lives. They feared for the safety of their families. Dear Bossip , I’ve been with my husband for almost 8 years now and for almost 2 of those years we have been married. We also have 2 children together. Either right before or right after our wedding day my husband cheated with a woman from his past and a baby came of it exactly 9 months into our marriage. This woman is still in love with my husband, and always has been willing to do anything to have him. She and I have had many run-ins before we got married, so we don’t get along at all. The baby recently turned 1-year old and she went out of her way to have a birthday party at my husband’s family house. She wouldn’t allow separate parties. She said if my husband had his own party she would come to that also. I wasn’t even informed about the party until the day before, so I hardly had any time to prepare myself mentally and emotionally. It was humiliating for me to have to be at this child’s party with her walking around also. My husband lets this woman run all over him and she does whatever she wants, and it makes me feel like I’m overreacting. I (his wife) should not be put in situations like that. He acts as if he doesn’t see what she’s doing. I’m on the verge of filing for divorce. I’m tired of the drama, hurt & pain I’ve had to go through because of my husband’s selfishness. The man cheated right before or right after your wedding. He is a low-down scum dirty rat bastard. He is not a man. He is a child. He is hoe, a trifling crusty d**k piece of –ish. Your man had unprotected sex with this woman, and she is not the first or last, and then he came home and had unprotected sex with you. Think about that. Let that marinate in your thick a** skull. The man you’ve been with for nearly 8 years has raw sex with women with no regard for his health, his safety, or your health or your safety. Think about that. Let it stir in your head. He is going in women RAW, doing lawd knows what with them, and then you are letting him lay in your bed at night. He is up under you in the bed acting as if nothing has happened. Please let that sink in, and marinate under that polyester wig. Ma’am cut your loses, divorce his a**, collect alimony, and put him on child support. Ain’t no way I would stick around and deal with him, or her shenanigans for the next 18 years, and especially if he wants to act like he doesn’t see what she’s doing. Uhm, no ma’am. He can act stupid and dumb all he want, but it shouldn’t be with you. You are not ignorant to her ways and what’s she’s up to. A fool you are not! Then, on top of it all, she had the nerve to throw the child a birthday party at your husband’s family house, and they let her?!?! What type of hood ghetto –ish is that? I would have shut all that down! You can try to be the bigger woman all you want, but why the hell would you go and torment yourself by sitting there, at your husband’s family house, entertaining a woman who wants to flaunt your husband’s child around, acting like she is the Queen B. You sitting there all humiliated, and sad. Chile, I would have snatched her up, and drug her all through that house, backyard, and up the street. Then, served his a** with the divorce papers! Ain’t no way you should have allowed your husband to agree to that bull-ish, and he should have told his family to not entertain that mess. But, like you said, your husband wants to play dumb, and stupid. I feel that he likes this drama. He is enjoying this. He is benefiting from this. How? He has two women in his life fighting over him. You’re both competing and vying for his attention. She will do anything to get under his skin, and he enjoys it. You complain, yell, and scream, and demand that he treats you like his wife, and stop disrespecting you. And, he gets a kick out of this. You and the other woman are treating him just like he wants to be treated, like a little as boy. He is not a man, and will never be a man. So, let them two ratchet birds have one another. It’s not worth it to stay. It’s not worth it have to deal with this for the next 18 years of your life because trust and believe it will get worse over the years. Someone is going to get hurt, and so that you won’t end up in jail, it’s just best to walk away. You deserve better. You don’t deserve to have to feel humiliated, mistreated, or disrespected, especially by some woman your husband won’t put into check, and is running over his life, and your marriage. For your own sanity, and peace of mind, let this go. Be thankful for this lesson because now you know what love is not. Lindsay Lohan has reportedly met with a literary agency as part of negotiations to pen a tell-all book about, well, anything you could possibly imagine. Heck, that could be an anthology. Where would she even begin with such an endeavor? We have no idea, but we recommend the use of this animated GIF for the cover. So cutting-edge! Between her arrests, drug abuse, acting career, romances and dysfunctional family, her memoir could be epic if she told an unabridged, unfiltered version. The book began, according to insiders, as a series of journal entries , which the actress wrote during her latest (seventh or eighth, by our count) trip to rehab. It was a therapeutic exercise for a troubled celebrity more than anything, and as a result, the book is in its early stages and doesn’t have a clear focus. Lindsay Lohan “wants to open up every part of her life,” however. She met with Waxman Leavall, a literary agency that’s repped tons of celebs who have penned books, and the meeting was filmed for her OWN docu-series. LiLo reportedly has multiple offers in the six-figure range already. The only potential problem is a big one. If it’s written by Lindsay, we’ll be reading her version of events, and she is a notorious liar who lacks for self-awareness. Bottom line: Things could be sugar-coated, glossed over or just plain inaccurate as she seeks to stroke her own ego and blame others … or it could be great. Hopefully she writes it honestly and doesn’t just blow smoke.

But the last thing the movie’s producers want to do is cut Paul out of the film — so they are reportedly working on a plan to have Paul’s younger brother Cody, 25, fill for the late actor in his final scenes. Fans on Twitter seem to be totally divided over the report — here’s what they have to say. Paul Walker’s Brother In ‘Fast’ Sequel — Fans React To Cody Finishing Role There are still several remaining scenes in Fast & Furious 7 that would have featured Paul, so it seems like a logical solution to bring in his brother, Cody, who has worked as a movie stuntman in the past. But not everyone agrees. Disgruntled fans will probably be relieved to know that even if Cody fills in for his brother, we may never even know he’s there. Paul has already shot several scenes, so Cody would just be used as a filler, and then Paul would be added in via CGI technology. ‘They can shoot Cody from behind and at distance,” a source told the UK’s Daily Mail. “If it’s a shot they need Paul’s face in close up, they can CGI it later on.” The source added that Cody would only work on the film if it helped honor his late brother’s memory. ”If Cody agrees it’s because he wants to honor his brother’s memory,” the source continued. “There are many details that still need to be worked out, but right now the family and cast and crew are all still grieving.” It seems like the natural thing to do to have Paul’s brother step in since Paul had already began filming before he passed away. The Brimfield resident was listening to Kanye’s baffling comparison and actually wrote an open letter to the soon-to-be Mr. Kim Kardashian on his department’s Facebook page. “You sir, are as misguided as they come,” the message begins, before growing sarcastic in tone as it tears Kanye a new one. “Since you are accustomed to danger, from your life as an international rapper, I am strongly encouraging you immediately abandon you career as a super star and join the military,” it reads, continuing: “After joining, I would like you to volunteer to be deployed in Afghanistan or one of the numerous other forward locations where our men an women are currently serving. When the Taliban starts shooting at you, perhaps you could stand up and let the words flow. “I’m sure they would just drop weapons and surrender.
