Louise Silberling, an editor at Cornell University’s Philosophical Review, retaliated against architect John Wender — with whom she only went on three dates — with a series of scandalous poems and messages she posted online after they broke up, according to a defamation lawsuit filed Tuesday in Manhattan Supreme Court. Wender, 53, is seeking up to $1.25 million in damages and is “irreparably harmed” after the pair met online in March 2011 — and then about a year later she started slinging the slanderous insults at him. The spurned scholar accuses Wender of taking sick pleasure in “degrading women, violence toward women sexually … bondage, rape play, auto-erotic asphyxia and strangulation,” according to the lawsuit. Silberling, whose LinkedIn page says she’s fluent in four languages, also alleges that Wender engages in “animal role play” — and, in another affront, slams his “tiny STD infested weiner,” the court papers allege. When reached by a reporter, Silberling was shocked she was being sued. “Any allegations against me would be bogus,” she said. According to Raw Story: A Macon, Georgia pastor who expressed concern over his connection to God killed himself while his family and congregation were at his church, WMAZ-TV reported on Monday. The Rev. Teddy Parker Jr. was found dead outside his home with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head following the Sunday service at Bibb Mount Zion Baptist Church. The Christian Post reported that Parker sent his wife and two daughters to the church ahead of him before the service. “When he didn’t show up they went looking for him,” a church member, Russell Rowland, told the Post. “I’m very surprised because he didn’t preach that. He preached totally against it. It’s something that the congregation don’t really understand.” The Post also cited a 2010 sermon, “Facing Your Storm With Confidence,” in which Parker told his parishoners there had been moments in his life when he did not feel his connection with God.“I try to pray but I don’t feel like God is hearing me,” Parker said at the time. “I try to serve but I don’t feel like God is using me. And there are times in your life when God purposely withdraws from you, he doesn’t withdraw for the sake of leaving you but he withdraws so you can grow and mature.” Prayers go out to his family.

In New York, a federal judge has thrown out the troubled rapper’s bankruptcy case, making him a target for creditors. On Friday, The Journal News reported that a bankruptcy judge in White Plains dismissed the 42-year-old rapper’s July 29 Chapter 11 filing. Unfortunately for DMX (real name, Earl Simmons) that means he could lose his possessions including his share in a home in suburban Mount Kisko. Now he’s going have to figure out how to deal with his biggest debt: $1.3 million in child support owed to some of his 10 children. And why was his bankruptcy case dismissed? According to U.S. Trustee Tracy Hope Davis, Simmons didn’t provide “trustworthy information” in his filing. Here’s what DMX/Simmons’ spokesperson Domenick Nati told EUR about the situation: “Despite this recent obstacle, the team will continue to move forward with DMX’s national performances and we are still working relentlessly at obtaining his passport for his fans overseas.” This bankruptcy is going to clean ‘ole boy out.
